Fushi is an immortal being created by The Beholder and placed on Earth to preserve the world.

Fushi is an immortal being that can take the form of anything that has given him stimuli. His original form was a featureless white sphere. Without consciousness, he copied the first thing he bumped into, which happened to be a rock. Soon afterward, he became moss and stayed like that for some time. When a wounded wolf wandered close in the middle of winter and died, the immortal copied the wolf. He retains the ability to turn into these things. Later, after the death of the [nameless boy](https://anilist.co/character/201555/Unnamed-Boy), he mimicked the boy's appearance and took the form of a young boy with white hair, a pale complexion, and green eyes. He wears a short, brown fur cloak and a light blue shirt and pants with fur boots. A rope dangled from his hand and neck as the nameless boy died holding [Joaan](https://anilist.co/character/163694/Joaan)'s leash, though the latter soon disappeared. Fushi commented on the form, saying it felt like it belonged to him the most. Other than the nameless boy (whose form he usually defaults to), he can also take the form of many others; most notably: ~!March, a little girl with long black hair wearing a simple white dress; Gugu, a young man with defined muscle who hides his face behind a salamander mask; and [Parona](https://anilist.co/character/136544/Parona), a young woman with black hair and a slender body.!~

Fushi appears to be a good listener, is curious, brave, and a fast learner. Before learning how to speak, Fushi would learn how to do things by mimicking other people's actions. After learning how to express himself via words, Fushi speaks his mind - no matter how mean it may sound. He cares deeply for others and dislikes death. He also blames himself for the Nokkers' attacks, believing that destruction follows wherever he goes. Fushi finds it extremely hard to make friends because he knows he will have to see their lives to the end; they will always die while he lives forever.

Ricky is one of the side protagonists in the Shadows House series. He is a Living Doll working as a servant in the Shadows House and as a "face" of [Patrick Shadow](https://anilist.co/character/200311/Patrick).

Ricky is known as being a very confident and self-centered person, even more so than his Master, Patrick. He manages to get along with the other Living Dolls just fine and takes a particular liking to Lou. He and Patrick appear to be quite close and trust each other. However, much like Patrick, Ricky puts up an air of arrogance to cope with any insecurities he has, though he is much better at hiding them, as he is able to appear calm even when he is panicking.

Patrick is one of the side protagonists in the Shadows House series and the Shadow living under the care of the "Living Doll", [Ricky](https://anilist.co/character/200247/Ricky).

Patrick is arrogant, confident, and loyal. He has a strong sense of duty and will help out those who help him. He's not as smug as his "Face", Ricky, but can be annoying at times. 

~!During the debut, he has a panic attack, showing that he actually has many insecurities caused by a desire to prove himself and show that he is of worth. After the debut, he retains much of the same personality but has become kinder and far more humble, and open-minded. He gets along well with the other Shadows and has taken a particular interest in Kate's "Face", Emilico after she comforted him during the debut. In later chapters, it is revealed that he, in fact, had fallen in love with Emilico.!~


It's the first human our main character meets. It is also the first human form our main character can transform into. His version of this boy is called 'Fushi'. The boys own name has never been mentioned.

Blade is a transfer student at Rosewood Academy.

He is the great hero, a unique existence in the world, destined to defeat evil. Due to this immense burden, Blade was never able to relate to other people nor form bonds of friendship with anyone, this being the reason for his obsession with being a normal person.

The son of a wealthy candy craftsman. Ann freeloaded from him for a while. He likes Ann.

He tricked Ann into making a sugar sculpture, where he would steal it and her carriage and submit that sculpture as his own to win the annual Sugar Sculpture Festival. However in the end he failed as Ann made it in time to the festival. As the judges could not determine who was the real maker of the sculpture Jonas stole from Ann, neither Ann or Jonas won.!~

Taiyou is the main protagonist of the series. He is a Spy and member of the Yozakura Family. Taiyou married into the Yozakura Family for the sake of wanting to protect Mutsumi Yozakura and also find out the truth of what happened the day of the car accident which took his parents' and younger brother's lives.

Taiyou was a cheerful person before he went through the experience of his entire family's death in a car accident. It was after that day that his personality and made him afraid of forming emotional connections with anyone. The only person who he stayed close with was [Mutsumi Yozakura](https://anilist.co/character/162724/Mutsumi-Yozakura) because of her promise to never leave him.

He lost his parents when he was young in a train accident, and he was present when this happened. As a result, he has shut off his emotions and developed amnesia about the event as a way to protect himself, and he can seemingly only remember the incident in fragments. He now lives with his uncle.
