A 16-year-old child-prodigy pianist, who can play other instruments such as ocarina. He is depicted as intelligent but cool and reserved. When he realizes the world he knew is gone, he tells Hana he is relieved to be rid of the pressures of competitions and performances. Haru means "spring" and yukima means "break in snowfall".

Alpha is a character in DARLING in the FRANXX. He was a Parasite and the official leader of the 9's, a special forces unit that APE directly controls. He was partnered with 9’ζ and piloted a FRANXX called 9 Model. 

Nine Alpha is a rather short young man, his face framed by pale, honey blond hair, his long bangs low above his green eyes. He wears a special Parasite uniform emblazoned with white and gold, instead of the typical gray uniforms that other Parasite squads use. Otto has gray hair that is mentioned to be as long as a gal game protagonist. He is said to be somewhat handsome if he has a serious expression. However, he is usually either retorting, shouting, or panicking, ruining his looks. He has a medium build, but has trained himself since he used to work as a merchant.


Inaba Ryo, also known as The Black Phantom, is an assassin that hails from the Inaba Clan as well as the clan's current heir. He represented "Penasonic" as their affiliated fighter during the Kengan Annihilation Tournament and was one of three assassins in the tournament.

Inaba Ryo is the smallest fighter in the tournament, standing at 155 cm, with a slight yet well-defined frame, notably pale skin, and dead-looking eyes with large bags under them. His most distinguishing feature is his extremely long, flailing black hair that he usually lets drape over his face and on to the ground; under the hair, Inaba has a decidedly cute face. Ryo tends to wear a plain black vest and plain black bottoms, and is usually seen barefoot.

Ryo is particular known for his eccentric behaviour, such as his tendency to walk on all fours like an animal. Despite this, he has a surprisingly agreeable side. Because of the relationship he has with his friend and employer Urita Sukizo, Inaba subdued his true sense of identity: the bloodstained karma of his assassin's blood and the fact that assassins could only really live in the heart of battle, something which he regained after his fight with Tokita Ohma.

Woo Ik-Han (Kor. 우익한) is a regular human and best friends to Shinwoo, Yuna and Suyi, in addition to Regis, Seira and Rai. He spends most of his free time on his computer.  Ikhan is 157cm in height (about the same as Regis) and wears spectacles.  A running gag throughout the Manhwa is Ikhan's worry about his relatively short height. Initially, when Regis and Seira joined his class at school, Ikhan showed extreme intrest in the new students, which others supposed was Ikhan developing a crush on Seira. However, it is later revealed that Ikhan was rather enraptured by Regis, for Ikhan stated that he always wanted a fellow 'short' friend.
