Chihiro's father. He is very optimistic and is unreasonably confident. Although Chihiro feels uneasy, he just goes into the tunnel they happened to find. He has a careless side, as he helped himself to the food in front of him. Because he ate the food intended for the gods, he was turned into a pig, as was his wife. 

The Great Dog Demon was a powerful yokai lord who was known throughout Japan. Never formally addressed with a name, he fathered two sons by two different mothers: Sesshomaru from an unnamed dog demoness, and Inuyasha from a human woman (unnamed in the manga, but named &quot;Izayoi&quot; in the third movie). The Great Dog Demon is first mentioned in chapter 12 of the manga as Inuyasha&#039;s father, &quot;a demon dog that prowled the lands of the west&quot;.    The Great Dog Demon&#039;s major foe in the manga was the dragon Ryūkotsusei, whom he could not kill but sealed onto a cliff face with his claw; Myoga calls this battle the &quot;cause&quot; of his death. In the third Inuyasha film, Inuyasha the Movie: Swords of an Honorable Ruler, the Great Dog Demon survives long enough to save Izayoi and their newborn child Inuyasha; still weak from his battle with Ryukotsusei, he dies defending them from a human foe.     ~!The gateway to his tomb is hidden in a black pearl (a mystical gem that creates a path between the mortal and spirit worlds) inside Inuyasha&#039;s right eye. Within the pearl, their father&#039;s body is shown as an enormous dog skeleton in a suit of armor: his true form, according to Myoga. The sword Tetsusaiga, forged from the Great Dog Demon&#039;s own fang, rests inside this cavernous skeleton, protected by a barrier that repels any non-human with malice toward humans. Sakazuki - Admiral Akainu, formerly known as Vice Admiral Sakazuki, is an Admiral in the world of One Piece, one of only three to hold such a position and subordinate only to Fleet Admiral Sengoku. In English, his name means "Red Dog."  Akainu is a firm believer in "Absolute Justice", going as far as destroying the refugee ship simply due to the possibility of even one scholar sneaking on board. His logic is that if even one of the scholars of Ohara had escaped with it, the mission would've been a failure, much to the dismay of Aokiji, who called him a fool for overdoing things. As an Admiral, Akainu is able to command vast number of Marine troops that are under his rank. Most of all, he has the ability to order a Buster Call attack on any island. In addition to this, given that he holds the same rank as Kizaru and Aokiji, it can be assumed that he commands comparable fighting abilities to those two.  He has the devil fruit ability where he is able to transform his body into magma.   

~!During the timeskip, Sakazuki was nominated for the position of fleet admiral after Sengoku had retired. Kuzan, however, was against the idea of having him become the new fleet admiral and the two admirals battled each other for the position on Punk Hazard. Sakazuki ended up as the victor of that battle, although both men were seriously wounded. Sakazuki, however, decided to let Kuzan live because they were comrades. After becoming fleet admiral, Sakazuki decided to relocate the Marine Headquarters to the New World in exchange for the Marine branch.!~
