Kagome&#039;s grandfather. He is often covering for Kagome&#039;s absences at school with interesting excuses, which make Kagome&#039;s friends worry a lot about her.    Grandpa is identified by his clothing as a traditional Japanese Shinto Priest, apparently the current custodian/guardian/caretaker/owner of the Higurashi Shrine which has been in the family for generations. He continually tries to inject some education of the history of the family shrine into everyday life - even to the point of discussing the &quot;history of these pickles&quot; much to Kagome&#039;s dismay. 

A senior from 'Hemulen' species which is an avid collector. He used to collect flowers and stamps and then became a Birdwatcher. He is good hearted person yet pitiful due to the unstopping pranks of Stinky. He helps Moomin and the Snork Maiden whenever they are in need of help. The Hemulen's Aunt raised Moominpappa in an orphanage.

Apollis is Fokker's butler. He follows Fokker everywhere, and helps him in his quest for the Power Stones and the location of Fokker's father.

The Cardinal of Richelieu is the regent of the kingdom of France. He particularly deals with the collection and the distribution of the finances of the State. He was called by the King Louis XIII who, at the beginning of his reign, was still very young and lacked experience. For this reason Richelieu enjoys a considerable influence at the palace. But it sees it is not enough for him to be only number two of the country. Moreover, he hates Anne of Austria and thus requests Milady to carry out his lowest blows. Rochefort is one of his right-hand men.
