Professor Sebastian (Japanese: シラヌイ博士 Dr. Shiranui) is a member of Team Rocket who has appeared in several episodes of the Pok&eacute;mon anime. His Japanese voice actor is Hidetoshi Nakamura and his English voice actor is Eric Stuart.    He appeared in The Legend of Thunder!, and later on in the main series during Talkin&#039; &#039;Bout an Evolution and Rage of Innocence. He also appeared briefly in Pok&eacute;mon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea.      Personality    Every occasion he is seen by the viewer, he remains calm and talks with a steady even tone. As he is only seen in moments of scientific importance and victory, it cannot be said if this demeanor carries over to every situation, or if this behavior has been modulated to the scientific environment and all business that stems from there on in.  Relationships with other members    He works with Tyson and gives commands to Hun and Attila. Tyson seems to hold at least his scientific mind in great regard. As Hun, Attila, and Tyson are of the same rank, Sebastian might work with agents of their rank often.  Arsenal and abilities    He is in charge of a sizable crew of scientists, and they seem to work on a variety of things. He is known for the creation of the crystal system that traps Electric-type Pok&eacute;mon with their own power and a beam that forces Pok&eacute;mon to evolve.

Anime: In the anime episode For Ho-Oh the Bells Toll!, he comes off as a proud and arrogant person with a slight superiority complex and exhibits a near-religious fervor for Suicune, challenging Ash for daring to say that he&#039;d met the legendary beast. This may just be a form of jealousy on his part, for Ash had also seen Ho-Oh as well, while he has yet to encounter any himself. In the same episode, when he finally saw Suicune, he tried to capture it partially for ego gratification, ironically making him no better than the people who he&#039;s mentioned are unworthy for it. This is somewhat interesting compared to his appearance in The Legend of Thunder! when he mentions Suicune only once, and then only in reference to the other beasts.    In The Legend of Thunder!, he assists Jimmy, Marina, and Vincent in their battle against Attila and Hun. Marina falls for him because he wears a cape.    He is apparently very close friends with Morty, who is also an expert on the Ecruteak legends. Morty acts as Eusine&#039;s voice of reason, trying to convince him to calm down and ease up, but to no avail. When Eusine leaves suddenly at the end of the episode, Morty&#039;s lack of surprise indicates that this has happened before.    Manga: In Pok&eacute;mon Adventures he is quite the showoff, especially towards women, performing flashy magic tricks and even giving out autographed pictures of himself. He flies around on a Jumpluff. He seems to be a close friend of Morty&#039;s, as the Gym Leader is helping him in the hunt for Suicune.    He is first seen being spoken of by Morty, who states that Eusine had him use his powers to try and find Suicune, to no avail. After Morty is defeated by Suicune he contacts Eusine, who goes off to catch it himself. During his hunt he runs into Crystal, who accidently shocks Arckee with his Electrode, proclaiming them rivals and disappears. He then visits and old couple and tricks them into giving him Moomoo Milk by &quot;curing&quot; their Miltank. However Crystal followed him and found out that Eusine really put a berry in its mouth and manipulated the nice couple, to which Eusine doesn&#039;t seem to care. They then encounter Suicune, which turns out to really just be a Ditto sent by Team Rocket to distract them. One of the Guylos Empire&#039;s greatest Zoid pilots. Schubaltz is an honorable fighter, and wishes to see peace between the Republic and Empire as opposed to total destruction of both sides. He has a younger brother, Thomas, who doesn&#039;t appear until Guardian Force. He both loathes and distrusts Prozen, though he doesn&#039;t do anything to stop him. Initially a major, he is later promoted to the rank of colonel. Karl Schubaltz pilots the Dark Horn and the Iron Kong, as well as a custom Saber Tiger.

Taruru used to be Tamama's apprentice, and still calls him &quot;master,&quot; or &quot;senpai,&quot; meaning his superior, Taruru was more clumsy than Tamama in the past. Taruru was a blue Keronian tadpole who's symbol is an orange and yellow raindrop shaped emblem, the mark of an &quot;old driver&quot; in Japan, but he matured faster, in his appearance in volume 10/episode 101, he had adult features instead of tadpole features. Taruru first appeared to see if all the rumors about the Keroro Platoon was true, revealing what Tamama told him about the platoon. In the anime he also appeared a couple of times with his childhood friend Karara, forming a duo of mischievous tadpoles. Despite Taruru's clumsiness in the past, he had become very skilled when training in the Garuru Platoon and has skills that exceeded Tamama's, defeating him in a face-off. He then captures Momoka and Paul, then later on also captures Mois. He is the defacto leader of the X-Laws, only overruled by Iron Maiden Jeanne. He originates from Sicily, Italy. Orphaned from an early age, Marco was raised in a Catholic church-orphanage by a priest. Together with Jeanne and Lyserg Diethel he is part of Team "X-I".  Like most other of the X-Laws, Marco is extremely loyal to Jeanne, and will stop at nothing to achieve what he believes will bring about Jeanne's ideals of a world free of corruption and evil. Like Jeanne, he tends to see issues in black and white; either something is good or evil. Those who join the X-Laws are considered good and those who do not are automatically evil and with Asakura Hao.  When he first appeared he seemed very gentle, but later as commended by Luchist he lacks flexibility which in turn, makes him annoyed and angry about the smallest things. This will sometimes lead his hair to spike out in a comical maner and making him crush his own glasses when agitated and stresses, which is also the reason why he carries a set of three spare glasses in his shoulder patch.  The only thing that can calm him down seems to Jeanne and in some rare cases, quality chocolate with coffee. He heavily believes in discipline, to the degree where he punches Lyserg when he is up late. During fights he also have a tendency to give people several death sentences. He also have a great love cars, which led him to form his own cardealership.

A Hollywood actor who has starred in several Ninja Movies. He is the suitor and opponent of Mai Valentine, who challenged her to a duel for the right to marry her. A Chimera that swore loyalty to Greed. Like Nina, he was fused with a dog; however, he has retained his human appearance. Because he is part dog, he can use his new-found speed along with his great swordsmanship, and his sense of smell is superior to that of a normal human. However, he is noted saying he is &#039;too loyal for his own good&#039;. In the manga, he is often used as comic relief. Such as when Martel (inside Al at the time) should see him pee with one of his legs in the air, much like a real dog. He, like Martel, was not in the war in Ishval but was in the war in Aerugo.

A character appearing only in the 35th episode of the anime. An alchemist Lust encountered years ago, Envy saw potential in him to advance their plans to make a Philosopher's Stone. After the Homunculi deliberately spread the Fossil Disease in his village, Lust gave him a Red Stone ring to use against the Fossil Disease. However, Lujon fell in love with Lust, and Lust began to feel the first stirrings of her humanity, as Lujon reminded her of her creator, Scar's brother. When they met again, Lust killed him to &quot;fix&quot; the mistake of getting him involved in the Homunculi's plans. Upon his death, everyone in the village fell to the disease and none were left alive.    Despite Gluttony's pleading her, Lust did not allow Gluttony to eat Lujon's body after his death.    In the English Dub he also mentions the Ishballan God, Ishballa, and when using Alchemy frequently prays to him.    He resembles Scar's brother from the manga.

Matthieu is the easygoing, afro-haired pilot of the Terminus typeR606. He has a passion for music, and seems to be constantly bored. Matthieu seems to be responsible for gathering information from and maintaining contacts with ref boarders and DJs. Early on, he was one of the few members of the Gekkostate who showed any sympathy for Renton, although he played his fair share of jokes on him, too.   Matthieu and Hilda often act like husband and wife, though the two don't seem to share any such relationship apart from their arguing. Hilda orders Matthieu around as if he were her husband, and Matthieu treats Hilda as if she were his wife. He even calls her "honey" all the time. Sojiro Kusaka  was an old friend and rival of Toshiro Hitsugaya when they were younger in the Shinigami academy. Sojiro believes that he's the rightful master of Hyorinmaru, however, he's soundly defeated by a weakened Hitsugaya numerous times throughout The Diamond Dust Rebellion.

Romeo was deeply in love with Juliet, but unfortunately he always became very nervous when he was around her. This affected the show the two put on with their Volbeat and Illumise, as it caused him to bumble through his performance motions.   However, in the end they admitted their love for each other and they were able to put on a great show.

~!Yashamaru was a medic-nin, the younger brother of Karura, and thus the uncle of Gaara. At first, Gaara thought that he was the only one that cared about him. Yashamaru taught Gaara about physical pain, emotional pain and love; concepts Gaara was completely unaware of in his childhood. He was commanded by the Fourth Kazekage to assassinate Gaara, but was given the choice in deciding whether he wanted to proceed or not. Yashamaru willingly accepted the command in order to avenge his older sister's premature death. The assassination attempt, however, ended in a desperate suicide mission and ultimately failed. Before he died, he told Gaara that no one had ever really loved him, not even him. This left Gaara even more of an emotional wreck than he already was. His suicide bombing attempt on Gaara's life caused Gaara to become somewhat psychotic. Yashamaru's last words, to Gaara, were "This is it. Please die."  !~

Seaman Recruit Jango is the first mate and hypnotist of [Captain Kuro](https://anilist.co/character/2519/Kuro). He uses disks that double as chakrams to hypnotize people to his advantage in battle. He has a former bounty of 7,000,000 Beli. Jango usually ends up hypnotizing himself as well as his targets. Jango wears strange clothes, including a long coat covered in the disks he uses to fight and hypnotize, and red-lensed heart-shaped glasses.

Takasugi originated the revolutionary idea of auxiliary irregular militia (shotai). Under the feudal system, only the samurai class was allowed to own weapons. Takasugi promoted the recruitment of commoners into new, socially-mixed paramilitary units. In these units, neither recruitment nor promotion depended (at least in theory), on social status. Farmers, merchants, carpenters and even sumo-wrestlers and Buddhist priests were enlisted, although samurai still formed the majority in most of the Shotai. Takasugi clearly saw that utilization of the financial wealth of the middle-class merchants and farmers could increase the military strength of the domain, without weakening its finances. Since the leaders of Chōshū were unable - and unwilling - to change the social structure of the domain, limited use of peasants and commoners enabled them to form a new type of military without disturbing the traditional society.  In 1863, Takasugi himself founded a special Shotai unit under his direct command called the Kiheitai, which consisted of 300 soldiers (about half of whom were samurai). Weakened by the punitive attack by the Western powers, Chōshū was unable to withstand an expedition mounted by the Bakufu in autumn 1864 in retaliation for previous Chōshū attempts to seize control of Kyoto. At first, conservative forces, which favored conciliation with the Bakufu in order to secure the domain, were dominant in Chōshū politics, and Takasugi and some of his compatriots had to leave the domain to avoid renewed imprisonment. Takasugi, with only about a dozen followers, including future political leaders Yamagata Aritomo, Itō Hirobumi and Inoue Kaoru, gathered in Kokura in Kyūshū and prepared an attack on the conservative forces in Chōshū. The subsequent Chōshū civil war began on 13 January 1865.  Takasugi played a major role in this civil war and his Kiheitai militia proved its superiority over old-fashioned samurai forces. With a series of quick strikes and the support of Kido Takayoshi, Takasugi achieved victory by March 1865. He became one of the main arbiters of the Chōshū domain's policy and continued to act as the domain's expert on Western military science, devoting his efforts to importing arms and raising troops. These reforms proved to be successful when Chōshū was victorious on four fronts against the Bakufu's Second Chōshū expedition in 1866, with the Kiheitai itself securing victory on two fronts. Takasugi’s efforts had made a small-scale ‘nation in arms’ out of Chōshū, giving it a military strength out of proportion to its relatively small size. With its victory over the Tokugawa forces, the military power of the Bakufu was discredited, and traditionally rival domains decided to join forces with Chōshū in the subsequent battles which led to the Meiji Restoration and the end of the Tokugawa Bakufu.

Pain is the recognized leader of Akatsuki, partnered to Konan, with Tobi acting as his benefactor. He is the principal figure in the tailed beast sealing ceremony.   ~!The first and leading "Pain" appearing in the series is actually Yahiko, one of six animated corpses collectively known as "The Six Paths of Pain" that are all controlled by one person's will[ch. 378, 419]: Nagato of Amegakure. At a young age, Nagato was secretly visited by Madara Uchiha who implanted his Rinnegan (lit. "Saṃsāra Eye") into the child's body, giving him the ability to use abilities based on the six Buddhist paths of reincarnation. Orphaned, Nagato met fellow orphans Konan and Yahiko before they are all trained by Jiraiya. Nagato desired peace for the world, aiding Yahiko to create the Akatsuki to achieve that shared dream. However, a trap laid by Amegakure's dictator Hanzo led to Yahiko's death, causing Nagato to take over as the new leader of the organization. Though the encounter crippled Nagato, the experience of having his best friend die caused Nagato to come to the realization that peace could only be attained by teaching the world the pain caused by war.  To that end he adopted the alias "Pain" to conquer Amegakure and invented the Six Path of Pain to overcome his handicap and kill Hanzo, becoming a "god" in the eyes of Amegakure's citizens. Having made cosmetically alterations to the other Paths by dying their hair to match Yahiko's, the Paths are all outfitted with a number of body piercings that serve as a means for Nagato to control them and to give them a "more dangerous" appearance in relation to their name's installation. Through Nagato's Rinnegan, they can also share visual information and coordinate attacks.  Jiraiya would later confront Nagato regarding his role as "Pain", the leader of Akatsuki. The two would fight with Nagato dismissing his former mentor's ideals as well as killing him. During Pain's attack on Konoha, the six Paths are defeated by Naruto. Talking with Naruto, Nagato renews his faith in his late master and in the possibility of peace. Nagato sacrifices his life in order to revive the people he killed in Konoha.[ch. 449] Nagato is later resurrected by Kabuto and sent alongside Itachi to battle Naruto and Killer Bee, but is sent back to the afterlife.!~
