Satoshi (known as Ash Ketchum in most international territories) is the main character of the Pocket Monsters anime. He is also the main character of various manga based on the anime, including but not limited to Dengenki Pikachu, Satoshi to Pikachu, and Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl. He is a Pokémon Trainer from Masara Town whose goal is to become a Pokémon Master. His starter Pokémon was a Pikachu that he received from Professor Okido after arriving late at his laboratory.

He shares his Japanese name with the creator of the Pocket Monsters franchise, Satoshi Tajiri. His international surname is a pun of the English motto, "Gotta catch 'em all!." 

He and his siblings have supernatural powers, referred to in the series as "The Power", and are described as espers in the series. They are forbidden from using their powers in public, lest they be discovered and exploited. In each instance where someone has seen their powers, the family has immediately relocated.   Kyosuke's esper powers include teleportation, telekinesis, and "time-slipping" (a kind of a time travel) while falling from heights such as stairs. He can alter mechanical devices such as elevators and traffic lights. He can direct his powers to his ears to amplify his hearing and he has also demonstrated a hypnotism power as evidenced when he hypnotized himself to be more decisive.   Kyosuke is also rarely shown to use his powers to temporarily amplify his speed and strength. On very rare occasions—generally, when Madoka is directly threatened—his power has taken the form of raw energy that can shatter concrete walls or short out every light in a disco.  Kyosuke is a pretty gentle person and a bit of a goody-goody—when he sees Madoka smoking, he scolds her in a very nerdy way (and then uses his powers to destroy her cigarette). It is his indecisiveness that leads to the love triangle with Hikaru and Madoka. He is initially unable to decide between his feelings for Hikaru and Madoka.   As the story progresses however, he find himself unable to end the relationship with Hikaru for fear of hurting her feelings and destroying her friendship with Madoka.

Due to his looks and attitude, he is seen as an idol by the female students, though he seems to not care. He is generally a much more approachable person than Chika, but certain situations and people cause him to act cold and indifferent; when Michiru first told him that she had no real will to live, he told her how disgusted that made him feel, going on to say that he believes she does not deserve the right to live.  Shito is linked with Chika by a spiritual chain. When he attaches Chika's right hand, or rather his own original right hand, he can generate a 9½ inch Ruger Super Redhawk revolver, which has the power to harm zombies with its spiritual bullets using his own ectoplasm.

The old Band of the Hawk's friendly mediator. A former circus performer who wielded throwing knives, Judeau was also well-aware of the world around him and was seen as a confidant for many of The Hawks. Throughout his stay with the Band of the Hawk, he was secretly in love with Casca, but never acted on it out of respect for Guts' and Casca's feelings for each other.

Gino Weinberg is the Knight of Three, a seventeen-year-old ace pilot of noble descent. Gino comes from a very rich upbringing, and as such doesn't quite understand how the real world works. However, his cheerfulness and friendly demeanor earn him many friends. He takes an immediate liking to Suzaku upon his appointment to the Knights of Rounds. He pilots the transformable Knightmare Frame Tristan.  Gino is impressed when Kallen defeats both him and Anya in her upgraded Guren Flight-Enabled Version, remarking that her skill is on the level of a member of the Knights of Rounds. He also expresses disappointment at not getting a rematch when she is captured by Li Xingke. He enrolls in Ashford Academy with Anya to learn what it's like to live as a regular person.  During Kallen's imprisonment in Tokyo, Gino visits her and asks if she has any intention coming back to Brittannia under the name of Stadtfeld. The attack on the settlement interrupts their conversation, but he gets his answer when she is set free and joins the battle. She confirms for him that she has chosen the name of Kōzuki, and when asked whether them meeting on the battlefied is a reason to be happy or sad, he claims that they should enjoy it. He then asks Suzaku to let him deal with Kallen himself, but Suzaku insists that she would not let him off so easily and stays to fight her.

Rolo is introduced in the second season as Lelouch's younger brother,

Rolo is unsociable and reserved, unlike his older brother, a trait which does not gain him many friends at school. ~!While working with the Britannian Secret Intelligence Service, he is aloof and doesn't seem very interested. While Rolo puts up a front of being withdrawn, this exterior hides a ruthless and detached killer who will do whatever it takes to complete his mission.  Despite his attitude towards the mission, Rolo is devoted to Lelouch.!~ He often stays in the background and simply listens and isn't afraid to be very blunt about their faults.  Lelouch's year without memories show him and Rolo quite happy, particularly when Lelouch gives him a heart-shaped musical locket as a birthday present, which he keeps attached to his cellphone. His attachment to the locket is such that he refuses to return it even when Lelouch tries to reclaim it.~!It is also clear that he has also been heavily affected by his time with Lelouch. Because of this, he is easily manipulated into believing that Lelouch cares for him and thus follows his orders without question.!~

Renji is one of the most unusual Bleach character, having long crimson hair which is usually kept in high ponytail, and whole upper body tattooed in tribal work. He dresses in normal Shinigami kimono, but he usually wears some kind of headband (it's shown to be rather very expensive glasses or white headband).  In terms of personality, Renji is same as any other Shinigami. His personality varies from cocky and eccentric, to being depressed after he's defeated, all the way to being clueless and funny. Although he's carefree and happy character in most of the series, he can be quite serious, especially when it's the matter of life and death situations for either him or people he hold precious.  He is shown to have rather complicated relationship with his captain, Kuchiki Byakuya. Renji sees Byakuya as the goal he has to surpass. First time, when Renji was still in the Academy, he encountered Byakuya and felt something chilling about him. In the meantime, Renji became Byakuya's lieutenant, and throughout the series, Renji starts to see Byakuya not only as rival, but also as man he can look up to.

Izuru Kira was born to a family of lesser nobility, his parents having been dead since he was young. While in the Shinigami Academy, Kira befriended Momo Hinamori, Renji Abarai, and Shūhei Hisagi, and they were often seen spending time together. After graduation, Kira, along with Renji and Momo, was sent to the 5th Division, where he stayed until Gin Ichimaru became Captain of the 3rd Division. Kira is loyal to both his friends and his duties, perhaps to a fault. Despite the close friendship he shares with Momo Hinamori, Kira shows that his loyalty knows no boundaries when he defends his captain while she is in a grief-induced rage from her own Captain's apparent death. Despite this, he calls himself a "monster" afterwards for raising his sword against her.  Kira's Zanpakutō is Wabisuke. Its Shikai command is "Raise your head." When activated, Wabisuke's Shikai bends the blade into a square hook. In this form, Wabisuke doubles the weight of whatever it strikes. The ability affects both inanimate objects and living beings. Though a seemingly pointless ability in sword combat, the effect is cumulative. With a second hit from Wabisuke, the weight will double again and so on, exponentially. Thus, after seven or eight blocked attacks, his opponents are unable to lift their own swords. Once Wabisuke's effect becomes noticeable, Kira's opponents often fall to their knees with their heads bent down, as if in apology, thus the name of Kira's Zanpakutō. 

Keigo is typically a goofy and an extremely hyper-active character, often using overly-dramatic movements and words to act out his feelings. In other respects, he is the stereotypical Japanese teenager: he enjoys watching fireworks, playing role-playing-games, going to beach parties, and so forth. Originally little more than a source of comic relief, Keigo becomes a more prominent character later in the series. The Asano family consists of Keigo's mother, father, his sister Mizuho, and Keigo himself. Like Tatsuki Arisawa, he is unusual in that he lives with both of his parents, unlike many other recurring characters in the series.  A good-natured teenager, Keigo is used mainly for comical effect, usually in situations involving failed attempts to woo girls and interacting with Ichigo. He is good friends with fellow student Mizuiro Kōjima, whose calm, innocent demeanor, and success with women acts as a foil to Keigo's impulsive, wannabe personality.  Keigo appears to be a shallow character at first glance, with a passion for slacking off. Indeed, he takes great pride in not making it to the honors roster (higher than the 50th ranking) and labels those who do so "traitors" (including Ichigo and Chad, who made the 23rd and 11th ranks respectively). However, Mizuiro states that Keigo is much smarter than his bad grades show.  Later, it is revealed that Keigo can see ghosts and even soul reapers, in the Hueco Mundo/Arrancar arc. The first soul reaper Keigo ever saw was Ikkaku Madarame, who saved him from an arrancar. The final member of the Generation of Miracles, he stood at their head as captain, leading their team to uncontested victory during the three years he played for Teikou Middle School. He is uninterested in winning, simply because victory in his eyes is an absolute given, requisite to his own life as much as breathing. But he has grown tired of victory in the absence of a chance of defeat;    ~!Thus when it became clear that Aomine would not be able to participate in the final rounds of the inter-high school championship, he also withheld himself from playing and demanded Murasakibara do the same, wanting to make the games at least a little interesting. He upholds an extreme 'winner-take-all' philosophy, believing that victors are granted absolution in all things, while losers are denied everything. He claims never to have lost at anything, and as such he believes himself right in all things; he grows violent towards those who thus defy him, attempting to stab Kagami with a pair of scissors when the latter refused to leave even when told to do so. Respected and feared by the Generation of Miracles, they assemble as he demands, and can't help but heed his words.!~

Kandata is a bandit who kills people without mercy. He is energetic and sadistic. He also sees fun and entertainment when committing crimes.     ~!In the end he is killed by the king and sent to &quot;hell&quot; where he becomes confused, scared, and lost. When the spider sends its thread down from heaven for Kandata, he pushes all of the &quot;others&quot; away so he can be the only one to climb out. However, his greediness pays the price and the thread snaps while the spider turns away. !~    He appears in the story &quot;The Spider&#039;s Thread&quot; otherwise known as episode 11. The Mangaka of Bleach (Tite Kubo) designed him.

Pesche is a fairly harmless, humanoid hollow whose mask resembles an insectoid head with a large pair of mandibles. He wears an eyepatch and a loincloth. His hollow hole is slightly lower than normal, positioned near his stomach instead of his chest. He and Dondo were once Nel Tu's Fracci&oacute;n, but had their masks forcibly removed by Nnoitra and were left for dead with Nel. After realizing that their master had reverted to a defenseless child, he and Dondo pledged to protect Nel by never telling her about her former life. He spent the following time traveling around Hueco Mundo with them. He accidentally accompanies Uryū into Las Noches, having mistaken him for Ichigo. This initially upsets Pesche as he believes Uryū to be the weakest member of the group due to his appearance, while thinking that Chad is the strongest.    Pesche possesses an ability he calls &quot;Infinite Slick&quot; (無限の滑走（インフィナイト・スリック）, Infinaito Surikku?),[2] in which he sprays his saliva at an object, severely reducing its friction. Though seemingly useless, he is able to render Cirucci's weapon ineffective by coating it in his liquid, and it can be used similarly to make opponents lose their footing or grip on things. The liquid is limited in supply, contrary to its name. Pesche states that he named it as such because &quot;Finite Slick&quot; didn't sound nearly as cool. He can also perform a synchronized cero attack with Dondo. In addition to his powers, he carries an energy sword he calls Ultima (究極（ウルティマ）, Urutima?, Spanish for &quot;final,&quot; Japanese for &quot;ultimate&quot;) which he compares to one of Uryū's Seele Schneiders, humorously drawing it from his loincloth using its vaguely phallic hilt. Daiji Hirasago is the leader of the bullies of Kusajishi who helps Ganju Shiba attack the Bount base at Kusajishi. Calls himself the Kusajishi Bull, Hirasago Daiji-sama. He was shortly introduced into the series (can be found in episode 97).

A native of South Blue, he is one of the Eleven Supernovas appearing on the Shabaody Archipelago and one of the only two that aren&#039;t captains, also the second appearing Supernova who does not seem to be in the possesion of Devil Fruit powers. Killer is seen using a pair of scythe-bladed weapons that are capable of spinning around or being used as hand scythes these are used in combination with his kicks and high agility to make him into a truly formidable foe.
