She is a neat, clean, sweet, and petite young lady who can be viewed as the archetypically perfect Japanese female. Not long after Lum showed up Shinobu began to develop super-human strength. She like all female members of her class has a huge crush on Mendou. She is often part of a "foursome" consisting of Ataru, Lum, Shuutaro, and herself.

Daughter of Vermillion and granddaughter of Akela. She grows up together with Mowgli and his brothers and in the beginning of the series, she often quarrels with Mowgli and doesn't accept him as a wolf. Since she's grown up without her father (he left the pack after the fight with Alexander), she longs for him and kind of gives Mowgli the fault for his disappearance (since he's Alexander's son). She gives of an "ojou-sama"-aura (she often acts like she is superior to Mowgli and his brothers) and is kind of a tsundere, since, in critical moments, she actually worries about Mowgli. Throughout the series, she matures in different ways and her attitude towards Mowgli also changes significantly.  ~! Later in the series, she actually falls in love with Mowgli, but he is ignorant to her love. Instead, Sura has fallen in love with Lala, but she has no interest in him. When Lala hears by chance, how Bagheera advices Mowgli to avoid Lala, since he knows a love between human and wolf has no future, she is heart-broken and accidentally gets herself in danger. Sura saves her risking his life and Lala understands his feelings for her. Later it is shown that she gets two cubs together with Sura. !~

Lunch is Muten-Roshi's house maid, retrieved by the young Goku and Krilin in order to receive martial-arts training from him (his requirement was to "bring him a pretty girl"). She has dissociative identity disorder; whenever she sneezes, she switches between a sweet, innocent girl with blue hair, and a cleavage-bearing blonde bombshell who commits crimes for fun and is quick to respond with gunfire when angered (pulling a machine-gun out from nowhere when needed). Neither of Lunch's personalities remembers what the other says or does, and it is never said if the evil side knows of the innocent self; however, the innocent Lunch is aware of her evil side, although she doesn't really seem very concerned over her presence.

Born in Japan (to a Chinese father and Japanese mother) as Linn Minmei, Minmay moved in with her uncle Shaochin and aunt Feichun on South Ataria Island in hopes of finding the path to fulfill her dream of becoming a star. On the day of the Zentradi invasion, she meets Hikaru and a series of events leads to her being swept off on the SDF-1 Macross along with the rest of the surviving population from that island. While on the space fortress, Minmay wins the Miss Macross beauty pageant and is propelled into celebrity. When the Macross returns to Earth, she is the only civilian allowed off the space fortress. After her trip home in Japan (where her parents remained), Minmay returned to the fortress with her cousin Lynn Kaifunn (and Hikaru's competition for her affection) in tow. Ultimately, Minmay sings the songs that end the first war against the Zentradi.

Minmay's personality is that of any teenage girl, fun-loving, playful, full of dreams and hopes that she may realize some day. After their initial encounter during the start of the Space War I, Hikaru builds a deep infatuation on her that grows on and on throughout the series. But after Minmay wins the Miss Macross contest and becomes a distant pop idol, his feelings for her change, as she becomes too involved not only in the popular culture, but as a symbol of the human struggle against the Zentradi. Minmay also displayed insecurity and doubts about her attraction toward Hikaru and her cousin Lynn Kaifunn.
