She is a first-class militia and is a rather strong and capable woman, but she frequently loses her patience with Rosette, who is a real source of trouble for her. Despite this, she sincerely cares about her and doesn&rsquo;t stand the idea of Rosette wasting her life because of the contract she made. Due to her hatred of devils, Sister Kate is very distrustful of Chrno, but she knows how much he cares for Rosette, so she tries to be tolerant with him.

A demon exorcist and Souichiro&rsquo;s mother. In the past, she was a test subject for Sōhaku&rsquo;s experiment, who she claimed was her husband. During the experiment, she absorbed all the founding families&rsquo; unique powers, except the Natsume&rsquo;s dragon eyes. Her body was deemed to weak for Sōhaku's true goal and in order for the experiment to not be a total loss for him, he had all the information of all the powers she absorbed moved into her eye. He then proceeded to remove her left eye in which he had it transplanted into Tetsuhito, giving him the powers. Sōhaku is also the one that took her left arm. Afterwards, she tried to raise Souichiro to be normal, all the while, she kept on doing her duties as an exorcist. When Souichiro was accepted into Todo Academy, she weeps for what's to come, because more than likely, the resonance effect would awaken his powers. When Souichiro and Aya&rsquo;s powers started to awaken, she got some of the former family heads to train and coach them. She has also been watching over them with one of her powers, which is one of the reasons she knew Souichiro's dragon would go out of control during his fight with Mataza. She was able arrive in time to absorb his dragon spirit before it ripped him apart. However, this proved too much for her, causing her to lose her remaining arm. She was recovering from injures with Yorihira in a remote hut in the mountains, but has since returned and is learning to use her robotic arms from Jushi.    from wikipedia

She is a pretty detective with the Tokyo police, who often uses the City Hunter team to do her job for her. She keeps promising to pay back [Ryou](https://anilist.co/character/2065/Ryou-Saeba) with &quot;mokkori&quot; (sex), but always manages to get out of it. Despite her deceptive tendencies, she and Ryo have a considerable history together and were in a love triangle with Ryo and [Hideyuki Makimura](https://anilist.co/character/2067/Hideyuki-Makimura).    Saeko&#039;s father is the chief of police, so she has some leeway in how she does her job. But off the job, her father puts pressure on her to get married.    In the spin-off Angel Heart, Saeko was the chief of police who used to date Hideyuki Makimura and was implied to be waiting for Hideyuki&#039;s proposal. In later chapters, Saeko&#039;s hidden dream was to have a normal family with Ryo, implying her shift in romantic interest.

Marianne Vi Britannia was the 5th wife of the Emperor of Britannia and the mother of Lelouch and Nunnally. The surname Lamperouge presently assumed by Lelouch was her maiden name. Her commoner status by birth caused her to earn the jealousy of other imperial wives and nobles, which Lelouch suspects had resulted in her murder. Lelouch's investigation revealed, however, that several members of the Imperial House not related to her by blood respected and admired Empress Marianne, such as Clovis, Euphemia, especially Cornelia, who idolized her and put a lot of fruitless effort into investigating the assassination.  It is hinted that her supporters were the Ashford family, which explains why their social statuses were ruined after her death and why they consented to protect Lelouch and Nunnally. She had also piloted one of the earliest Knightmare Frames, the Ganymede, which was developed by the Ashford family and is well known for her superior Knightmare Frame piloting skills, hence the nickname, "Marianne the Flash". In episode 23, it is revealed that C.C has apparently been talking to Marianne herself, via an unknown method. In episode 7 of R2, C.C. was talking with Marianne again.  At the end of season one, ~!Lelouch, by questioning Cornelia, discovers that Marianne had ordered Cornelia to shut down the security on the day of her attack, implying that she knew about the attack beforehand.  She is known to have shielded Nunnally during the attack that took her life, however, Nunnally's legs were disabled and she lost her sight. It is also to be noted that her death greatly affected and changes the life of Lelouch, who went on a great length to avenge her death and formed the resolution to create a new world where Nunnally can live in peace.  Because of her death, little is known about Marianne as a person; the side materials paint her as a sweet, kind-hearted woman, albeit one with a rebellious spirit and a deep protective instinct towards her children. Lelouch himself alludes to two such instances, one where she rode a horse into the palace's great hall, and another where she picked a fight with several of the Emperor's other wives all at once. In a flashback from one of the novels, she uses the Ganymede to intimidate a fellow consort who had been cruelly harassing Lelouch and Nunnally - all while maintaining a cheery, motherly disposition with a warm smile on her face. Marianne's conversations with C.C., one-sided in the anime but scripted out by the staff (and actually revealed in the Nintendo DS game), show that she has a playful side, often teasing C.C. when the immortal girl tries to deny any sort of attachment to Lelouch.!~
