A normal 10-year old girl, Yu harbours a secret crush for her childhood friend Toshio Otomo. Given the ability to transform into a 16-year old girl, she is made to fill in for the absent Megumi Ayase to sing on TV. Giving her name as Creamy Mami, she becomes an overnight hit.    

Megumi is an 18-year-old pop idol who was the top star of a talent agency called Parthenon Productions prior to [Mami's](https://anilist.co/character/12919/Yuu-Morisawa) arrival. She has romantic feelings for the company president of Parthenon Productions, [Shingo Tachibana,](https://anilist.co/character/19647/Shingo-Tachibana) but she often feels let down by him and slaps him in the face when she gets angry. In Italy, she is also known for singing the Italian version of the theme song of many anime, including One Piece, Doraemon, Attacker YOU! ("Mila e Shiro" in Italian), Sailor Moon and Captain Tsubasa ("Holly e Benji" in Italian).
