The thirteenth generation of renegade samurai, beginning with the legendary figure Ishikawa Goemon (石川 五右衛門). He has a sword called Zantetsuken (斬鉄剣), meaning "iron-cutting sword", which can cut through almost anything. In one episode during the TV series Goemon admitted that his sword cannot cut konnyaku, which is a starch-based jelly made from yams, because the blade just gets stuck in it. The Zantetsuken is usually used to cut inanimate objects, which Goemon considers unworthy of his blade and often mutters his catchphrase "once again, I have cut a worthless object" after doing so. Objects cut by Zantetsuken will fall apart a couple of seconds after he sweeps through them with his blade. He is usually quiet and participates in Lupin's exploits less frequently than Jigen.

Like Nadia, Jean is fourteen and an orphan, but he has a completely different personality and interests. He is very generous, patient, friendly, and devoted to the things he loves, which are his friends and the love for science. He is also genius inventor, in fact he is capable of creating complex machines at a very young age.  Despite being somewhat awkward when it comes to social graces around the opposite sex, Jean is genuinely well-behaved and is nice to everyone--even Gargoyle finds something to admire about his courage and cleverness.  He becomes Nadia&rsquo;s closest friend, and later on, her lover, as a result of the unlikely relationship that develops between them over the course of their around-the-world adventure.  Constantly loyal to Nadia, his compassion slowly transforms her as a person, inspiring her to be trusting and faithful in others.

A childhood friend of Clay's. Trapp is the product of a bandit family. He is very agile and quick-witted. When a battle starts he shows his natural sense in full by slipping away to safety with amazing speed. Very realistic and shrewd unlike other members of the Group, his sharp-tongue often bothers the others. He's excellent at sling-shot.
