He is a man with strong desire for revenge and a lifetime goal to kill Lupin III. He never gives up and he spends all his fortune to set deadly traps for him.  Appears in the first episodes of part I and part II  ~!and in episode 65 of part II.!~

An evil genius who has built a fearful weapon with which he aims for worldwide domination and establishing of Phantoma Empire.  Appears in episode 53 and 73.

Kagome&#039;s grandfather. He is often covering for Kagome&#039;s absences at school with interesting excuses, which make Kagome&#039;s friends worry a lot about her.    Grandpa is identified by his clothing as a traditional Japanese Shinto Priest, apparently the current custodian/guardian/caretaker/owner of the Higurashi Shrine which has been in the family for generations. He continually tries to inject some education of the history of the family shrine into everyday life - even to the point of discussing the &quot;history of these pickles&quot; much to Kagome&#039;s dismay. 

An old miner who meets Sheeta and Pazu and tells them of &quot;volucite&quot; (&quot;aetherium&quot; in Disney's English language dub), the crystal that provided Laputa with its power. He reveals that Sheeta&rsquo;s pendant is one of the largest and purest such crystals in existence, and counsels Sheeta to remember that the crystal's power rightly belongs to the earth, and that she should never use it to commit acts of violence.
