Lupin's marksman. He can perform a 0.3-second quick-draw and shoots with amazing accuracy. He prefers to conceal his eyes using his hat, as it gives him a more enigmatic appearance. His hat is also an important element to his dead shot accuracy because he uses it for aiming and target acquisition. He is also proficient in the use of many different firearms, such as machine guns, sniper rifles, and even a PTRS anti-tank rifle.

Zoll has appeared in both the original 1978 Space Pirate Captain Harlock series and in the feature film My Youth in Arcadia, sporting drastically differing appearances but with similar storylines. In Space Pirate, Zoll is a survivor of the Mazone invasion of his homeworld Tokarga. His people are assimilated into the Mazone caravan that is en route to earth, and the remaining military forces have been impressed into service in order to attack the Arcadia. Zoll is shamed by Harlock&#039;s show of respect, and escapes to confront the Mazone in a hopeless assault, lamenting that his two sons will remember him as a pawn of their enemies. He leaves in Harlock&#039;s keeping a memory device that holds vital information concerning the Mazone fleet.    Zoll appears again in Arcadia as a completely human-looking character, now a survivor of the Illumidas conquest of his homeworld. As before, his military has been given the task of assailing Harlock, whom they successfully drive back to earth. He has no sons, but rather a brother and sister, and when he learns of his planet&#039;s impending destruction by Illumidas, he and Harlock join forces in an attempt to mount a rescue of survivors on Tokarga. Zoll remains on earth to protect Maya and the other earth resistors, but dies during an uprising while attempting to save Maya and Emeraldas from execution, shot in the back by Prime Minister Triter. The lead scientist in the 00 Cyborg program, Gilmore was a dutiful worker who hid a deep distrust for Black Ghost's plans. (In the 2001 series, he only begins to have serious misgivings about the time 005 is built - his superiors force him to install a lower-grade part, because it would lead to more revenue - and has a much less prominent role in creating the rest.) After the cybernetic enhancements for the first nine 00 Cyborgs were complete, he intentionally let himself be "taken hostage" by the cyborgs. A pint-sized angel who dresses in green, Choppy is Princess Sapphire's sidekick. He's often brave to the point of being foolhardy, and tends to charge into situations head-first (literally). Choppy is stuck inside a mortal body and has no real divine powers other than the ability to blow the trumpet extremely loudly. Because of this, he often gets beaten up. Ippei Mine is a rodeo champion, was orphaned while still a young boy. His mother died trying to save him from a pack of wolves. After his mother's death, he grew bitter, aloof, but cool under crisis. He learned how to live in the streets and perform odd jobs. This kind of life strengthened his personality. Upon joining the rodeo, he learned to ride horses and how to use a whip. He found his greatest friend in a white stallion known as Aiful ("Alpha"). The two, man and beast, became inseparable.

He won two rodeo championship contests with Aiful as his horse. Then one day, The Earth International Defense Force asked Ippei to join the team. When he refused, he was taken forcibly, so for the first time, Ippei and Aiful were separated. Dr. Hamaguchi has Aiful brought to Big Falcon early in the series. His uniform was blue. He pilots the Volt Bomber (Arms) and has a Maverick and Iceman-like rivalry with Kenichi.
