Kazuya is the boyfriend of Akane and a friend of Yuuichi.

Kaoru was once a member of Kurei's Uruha, but later, he becomes a member of Recca's team in the Ura Butō Satsujin. He wields the Kōgan Anki, a puzzle-like weapon that has five different forms. In the manga, the weapon also has a mysterious sixth form: 'Mu' (Nothing). At the series end, he follows Kuurei to the past forever leaving his friends.

Hathaway Noa was born to Bright Noa and Mirai Yashima. He makes his first animated appearance along with his mother and his sister Cheimin Noa in the anime series Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, while his father was in space.

The son of Bora, he accompanies Son Goku for a short time during the Fortuneteller Baba Saga in order to recover all of the Dragon Balls so they can wish his father back to life. Upa is a member of the native tribe who serve as the guardians of Karin Tower. His father is the chief, however, the rest of the tribe is not seen until the end of the manga. He participates in the fight against Uranai Baba's thugs and helps Pu'ar defeat Dracula Man (a kickboxing vampire) with garlic breath. At the end of Dragon Ball Z, now an adult, he is shown giving energy to Goku's Genki Dama. Upa and his father also make a final cameo appearance in Dragon Ball GT on the episode "Piccolo's Decision". It is interesting to note that when Kuririn first meets Upa, he thinks that Upa is a cute girl. He is disgusted when he finds out otherwise and apologizes to Upa.

Aichi and Morikawa's classmate. Like Morikawa, he was viewed as a bully in the beginning of the series, but he soon becomes Aichi's friend. His deck is a mix of the Kagero and Tachikaze clans. Unlike Morikawa, he is actually decent at Vanguard. His ace is the Tyrant Death Rex.

A former Under-20 World Champion who broke many records for being the youngest fighter. Fighting is his entire life, with all of his time devoted to becoming stronger in fights, even his dreams while asleep. He craves fights at the highest levels in the world that can hone his skills.

He lost his parents when he was young in a train accident, and he was present when this happened. As a result, he has shut off his emotions and developed amnesia about the event as a way to protect himself, and he can seemingly only remember the incident in fragments. He now lives with his uncle.


Leon is bent on reviving the Aqua Force through any means even if it means that he makes enemies along the way, for his clan who are stuck on an island somewhere else. He doesn't care much for anyone else other than his two female friends.
