At the beginning of the series, Shinichi is a 17-year old student at Teitan High School. He is already well-known as a brilliant young detective, the "Savior of the police force", for solving many difficult cases that the professionals could not. However, while investing 2 mysterious men, he is spotted and forced to swallow an experimental poison known as APTX 4869. This results in his body shrinking to that of a 6 year old.

Shinichi comes up with the alias Conan Edogawa after Arthur Conan Doyle and Edogawa Rampo and pretends to be a distant relative of Agasa's who places Conan in Ran's care. Ran's father Kogoro Mouri, owns a Detective Agency which Conan uses to his advantage to discover cases involving the Black Organization.

As Conan, Shinichi helps Ran's father solve cases by putting him to sleep and simulating Kogoro's voice using the special bowtie gadget Professor Agasa made for him. By solving cases one after the other, he helps build up Kogoro's reputation who will later on be referred to as "Sleeping Kogoro". He also spends a good amount of time with his Detective Boys fellows and solves many small cases with them and sometimes in the company of Professor Agasa.

A transfer student at Tomobiki High School, Class 2-4. She is a girl, but because her father says the successor to the Hamachaya must be a man, he raises Ryuunosuke as a boy and insists that she is one. Because her eccentric father has raised her as a boy in order to run the Hamachaya, she behaves a lot like one and is quite violent. However, since she is in fact a girl, she hates being treated like a boy. She would love nothing more than to let her feminine side show, but her father interferes in every attempt she makes. Her first love was her elementary school teacher, whom she later realizes was a woman. Only Ataru Moroboshi truly treats her like a woman, but she handles it the same way most girls handle Ataru: with a hard left hook, not that it ever stops him.

The protagonist of the story, and the son of Tarouza and Oyaruru. He was raised by Tarouza's wife, Tsuyu. After an unknown assailant murdered Tsuyu and her daughter Sayuri, the villagers no longer trusted Jirou and chased him from the village. He then began studying the ways of the ninja under the tutelage of Tenkai. As he grew to adulthood, Jirou gathered pieces to the mystery of the disappearance of his father, and he began to devise a trap to snare Tenkai. In later volumes of the novels, he adopts the name Jirouza Hattori (服部 次郎佐), as well as Gerome Kamui (ジローム・カムイ, Jiroumu Kamui), the name based on that of Geronimo, his adopted father.

Owned by Noel. Sandy's twin (older) brother, who is often caught flirting with the other girls. As a result, he is often an annoyance to the other guys, especially Boss, Howdy, and Dexter. Initially, Sandy and Stan were separated, after Noel (who had a crush on Hillary) offered to take care of one of her hamsters. He is often seen shaking his maracas or riding his skateboard. 

Terry comes from the fictitious town of Southtown, Florida (a setting for many SNK games), and is the adoptive son of Jeff Bogard. During his childhood, he witnessed the death of his father at the hands of Geese Howard. Terry chose to pursue his revenge at a later time. But unlike his brother Andy, who left Southtown to train in Japan, Terry chose to stay in his hometown, combining the skills learned from his father with abilities gained from the streets.  Many years later, the crime lord Geese Howard organized a tournament, dubbed The King of Fighters. Terry, Andy and Muay Thai Kickboxing champion Joe Higashi would enter with the purpose of facing Geese. The battle that followed would eventually see Terry defeating Geese, and for some time, it was thought that Geese perished in the battle. The next year saw Geese's half-brother Wolfgang Krauser take control of The King of Fighters, and bringing the once Southtown-only tournament onto the world stage. The finals of this new tournament would again see Terry fighting the sponsor and him ultimately defeating Krauser.  Some time later it was revealed that Geese had survived his encounter with Terry. The Bogards and friends learned of Geese's intentions to retrieve the legendary Jin scrolls, Terry once again challenged and defeated him. Afterwards, Geese fled. Terry had battled to the end of the tournament, defeating characters such as Yamazaki, until finally facing the Jin brothers. Standing now as the victor, Terry once again was the Champion. However, Geese had escaped and with the scrolls. During the next game, Real Bout Fatal Fury, Terry managed to get all the way through the tournament to Geese for one final conflict. At the end of the fight, he knocked Geese off the edge of Geese Tower, but grabbed hold of Geese's hand and tried to keep him from falling. But this was not to be, as Geese knocked Terry's hand away, plummeting to what is believed to be his permanent death. Sometime either before, or after their final conflict, Terry encountered a boy by the name of Rock Howard, Geese's son. Kaiba&#039;s little brother. Mokuba is always following Seto where ever he goes. He has a very strong bond with his brother and has all of his faith within Seto as well. Mokuba helps run Seto&#039;s company and will do what ever it takes to please his brother.

Arale is a robot built by Senbei Norimaki that looks like a little girl. She is known for her naivety, energetic personality, lack of common sense, and amazingly unbelievable strength. Among her strength she can use abilities that range from the terrain splitting Chikyūwari ( Earth Chop) to the beam-like Nchahou ( N'cha Cannon). She is nearsighted and needs to wear glasses. Senbei Norimaki's mission is to convince the other citizens of Penguin Village that she is just a normal human girl. It seems to work, despite her superhuman athletic ability.  She has long, bluish-purple hair in the original manga and anime series, but has dark-brown hair in the 1997 Dr. Slump anime. Like the name of the other major characters (senbei), Arale is a pun on the name for a bite-sized rice cracker (arare) and with the family name ("Norimaki Arare") it refers to a sort of arare wrapped with nori seaweed. Shizuku is member number 8 of the Phantom Troupe. She has been described as being a natural airhead, seeing as how some of her actions do not point towards her being very bright. Shizuku is quite forgetful; once she forgets something, she won't remember it. Her opponents are often fooled by her unassuming and blurred appearance—but this has often proved to be fatal for them once she enters in combat. Shizuku is also left-handed.

__Nen Ability:__ 
Deme-chan (Blinky): Shizuku uses her nen to create a self-styled "living" vacuum cleaner she names "Deme-chan" that is able to consume any inanimate matter under her command. This has proven very useful in many occasions for cleaning up evidence that the members leave behind, especially blood and dead corpses. She also uses the razor-sharp teeth on the "mouth" as a weapon when in combat. Anything sucked up into her vacuum cleaner cannot be retrieved, except for the last material that was sucked in.

Takashi Yamazaki is a student in Sakura Kinomoto's class, and the only male student in the class to be referred to by name before the introduction of Syaoran Li. The character is named after film director, Takashi Yamazaki, who is a friend of the series creators, CLAMP. Throughout the series, Yamazaki's defining trait is his ability to fabricate highly detailed fake stories and histories about practically any subject. While most of his classmates see through these fabrications, Sakura and Syaoran often believe them. 

Fellow classmate [Chiharu Mihara](https://anilist.co/character/7134/Chiharu-Mihara) often interrupts his stories so others know when he is lying, and proceeds to punish him for lying by pretending to strangle him or by dragging him away by his collar. While the two often seem to be arguing, they are actually a couple and have known one another since kindergarten. She is the only girl in the series that he addresses by her first name.

In the Cardcaptors English adaptation, all hints of his relationship with Chiharu are removed. Instead, they are said to be cousins and the Chiharu's joking strangling of Yamazaki is considered to be sibling rivalry.
 

Inari is the son of Tsunami and the grandson of Tazuna. Inari&#039;s father died before he got to know him, but he came to see Kaiza as a father figure. Kaiza took a fatherly role in Inari&#039;s life and even became close to Tsunami. When Gato put Kaiza to death, Inari changed. He became a sad and angry boy, with little hope or optimism. He blamed Kaiza for what had happened, believing that he, in dying, had broken his promise to protect the land. Inari&#039;s outlook is changed after he meets Naruto Uzumaki, who also had a horrible past, but learned to deal with it. Naruto&#039;s unwillingness to quit and concern for others helped Inari to realize the power of will over fate, and that no risk is too great to protect something precious. He therefore grabbed his crossbow and rallied the townspeople, who proceeded to rise up against Gato&#039;s men. He also attempted to save his mother from the thugs, who would have killed him, had it not been for Naruto. Along with Naruto and Kakashi Hatake, they were able to drive away Gato&#039;s thugs. The spoiled son of the prince of the Land of the Moon, Michiru. 

Yukimaru is a young boy (it is still unknown if he is a shinobi) who appears in the second Naruto Shippuden filler arc. He is a test subject of Orochimaru, because he has the ability to control the Three-Tailed Giant Turtle. Yukimaru is a quiet boy, probably due to his past, he constantly ask questions like "Is it going to be fun?". His main goal is to find home and is told by Naruto that home is a place where people think about you, which lightens his spirit. Yukimaru always telling that he has no home to go to. Later on Kabuto sets off together with Yukimaru for a journey. They eventually arrive at a dark swamp. There, Kabuto conducts an experiment where he forcibly releases the full power of Yukimaru's chakra. This results made the Three-Tailed demon to partial emerge before submerging again.  Later, he is sent out again with Guren to complete a mission. During which, he succumbs to sickness, forcing Guren to care for him. As a result, he seems to have grown attached to Guren and possibly vice-versa. This is further emphasized from how Yukimaru reacted when Guren tells Yukimaru she has to head out in a manner similar to how Yukimaru's mother did before presumeably dying. He then gives her his necklaces with a special charm on it.  Later, Yukimaru again bumps into Naruto, who offers for the orphan to join him in Konoha, to which Yukimaru politely declines as he feels his place is with Guren. Soon after, Kabuto returns to conduct another experiment with Yukimaru. He has Yukimaru take several medical pills. Ultimately, this finally causes the Three-Tailed Beast to emerge.  He is able to controlled three-tailed beast, for the first time he has to drink the pills from Kabuto to release Three-Tails Chakra but later he manage to release it without pills. Yukimaru also has illusion technique, when he meet Naruto, white camellias appear on everywhere. Then he and white camelias (tsubaki) disappear on the same time.

(At the Beginning of the Series)   Likes: Sushi  Akito is characterized as a lone-wolf because he is quiet, reserved, and likes to keep himself at a distance from everyone. He carries with him a burden of blame from his family for the death of his mother, which he did not cause. But because of his troubled past and problems at school, Akito is maliciously referred to as a devil by his family. As the ring leader of a vicious group of hooligans, Akito and his thugs spend their days bullying the school. But things started to change when Sana came along, he became more nicer and stopped his bullying with the girls in his class.  Akito has a hard time expressing his feelings, especially to someone he cares about, and often shows anger with any personal problem. Most of his behavior can be traced to his troubled family life.   ~! Akito always gets jealous when he sees Sana with another boy. As he puts it, "he doesn't hate her." Later in the series, he becomes angry with the so-called oblivious Sana, who is unaware of his love for her, even though he had kissed her three times (and touched her chest.) He starts dating Fuuka who has confessed to him. Sana becomes jealous and heartbroken, he then tells her that he has always loved her, even though he didn't say anything. Forrest is Brock&#039;s younger brother and the second oldest child of Flint and Lola. When Brock returned from Johto to find the gym taken over by his mother and her water pokemon, Brock decided to have Forrest run the gym in his place. Helping Forrest out is Brock&#039;s prized pokemon Onix. Forrest was able to raise Onix very well that it ended up evolving into a Steelix.

Ascot is a Palu, a young child with the unusual ability to summon monsters, whom he considers to be his friends. Although hideous, they have no ill will, but villagers still fear them. Thus, Ascot was driven away until Zagato offered to give him and his friends a home in exchange for serving under him. In the anime, he destroys Presea&#039;s house with his monsters, and essentially causes her death; later, he confronts the Knights again (their first encounter in the manga), but Umi slaps him for using his friends and causing them pain. This causes a change of heart in Ascot, and he then forsakes Zagato. 

In the second series, he has used the power of his own will to make himself into an adult because of his love for Umi. Also, he still summons monsters but has learned other spells from Clef to avoid using his friends as living weapons. In the anime he is able to tell Umi his feelings before she leaves to fight Tarta. Umi replies that she loves him as well, but just as much as everyone else in Cephiro, and that she didn&#039;t have any romantic feelings for him. This saddens Ascot a bit, but he still tries to win her heart later on.
