Shouko's younger sister who is currently a middle school student. She cut her hair short so their mother would not cut Shouko's and has kept it that way ever since; due to this, she is often mistaken for a boy, with Ishida even thinking that she is Shouko's boyfriend at first.

Asuna Watase is the main character in Children Who Chase Lost Voices. She is an elementary schoolgirl living in a rural area in the 1970s.  As a young girl, Asuna has been forced to grow up quickly ever since her father had died, while her mother, a nurse, worked long shifts at a hospital. Asuna spent her solitary days listening to the mysterious music emanating from the cat's-whisker receiver her father gave to her as a memento, accompanied by pet cat Mimi.

In the Manga Leon is a young boy with a great distrust of adults and society, as he is a survivor of a war where all adults were killed, including his parents, and only children surived. He travels on a snowboard, and has the power to control air, managing to suffocate people, control air currents, among many things. Leon's Tao Power is called "Wind".  In the Anime He is part of a group of orphans that includes Tim Vertical. Constantly being ignored or abused by the "adults" of society, Leon sought more power so that he could better protect his friends. Ironically, after he did gain this power, he had to leave his friends behind so that he could help the Apostles remake the world. Near the final part of the story, Leon's the one who volunteers to get the fireworks for Eve to hear to trigger a reaction that would stop her from uniting with Eden. She and Chitoge are childhood friends; she tries to keep a ten year old promise of becoming strong to protect Chitoge. However, after Raku treats her nicely, she begins to develop some feelings for him, even though she is too stubborn and embarrassed to admit it. In America, her assassin code name is "Black Tiger", who had a rivalry with "White Fang". She does well academically, having ranked next to Chitoge on a yearly exam.

He participates in the fight against Uranai Baba's thugs and helps Pu'ar defeat Dracula Man (a kickboxing vampire) with garlic breath. At the end of Dragon Ball Z, now an adult, he is shown giving energy to Goku's Genki Dama. Upa and his father also make a final cameo appearance in Dragon Ball GT on the episode "Piccolo's Decision". It is interesting to note that when Kuririn first meets Upa, he thinks that Upa is a cute girl. He is disgusted when he finds out otherwise and apologizes to Upa.

Nanachi is a Narehate — a person who’s survived the 6th layer’s Curse of the  Abyss and has been left deformed as a result. Unlike other Narehates, Nanachi has retained a sound mind, possessing vast knowledge of the Abyss — its ecosystem, vegetation and even the use of the medicines. Their gender is ambiguous, often using the gender-neutral pronoun "oira." when referring to themself.

Most of the time, Nanachi is cool and reserved, keeping their distance emotionally and physically. Their attitude often borders on being sarcastic and even cynical. However, behind this mask, Nanachi hides a kind and gentle soul, capable of deep compassion and selfless devotion. They are also quite bashful when complimented, seen in their reaction to being called "fluffy". A waitress at Tae's restaurant, Sanjou Tsubame becomes Yahiko's sweetheart. She was saved by him from the ronin her family worked for as Yahiko stopped them from robbing the Akabeko. She is very shy and soft spoken. When Kenshin enters a living hell after the supposed death of Kamiya Kaoru at the hands of Yukishiro Enishi, Tsubame pleads for Kenshin to help Yahiko fight back against one of Enishi's abandoned allies and brings Kenshin back into the world of the living. Later she and Yahiko have a child. In Seisou-hen/Reflection, Tsubame and Yahiko had become a couple and Watsuki has mentioned in his notes Tsubame and Yahiko's son 'Shinya'; they become a couple in the manga storyline.

One of the Hachiyō, he is the Suzaku of Earth. Shimon is a Junior High student and a friend of Akane who also is pulled into Kyō. The people of Kyō often mistake him for an Oni.

Karin is the cynical and sarcastic daughter of Isshin. Compared to her soft-spoken twin, Karin is the more authoritative of the two. She is an excellent soccer player with a kick powerful enough to fight weak hollows. Karin's tough exterior results from her mother's death; because she could not be useful around the house like Yuzu, she resolved never to cry so that she would not burden her family with her personal troubles.  Karin is a sensible person and will not hesitate to kick her father in the head when she thinks he's acting unreasonable. She initially claims that she believes spirits do not exist, yet can see them just as well as Ichigo can. She can also sense them from great distances, which usually manifests as a headache. In spite of her attitude about spirits, Karin is willing to use her abilities to earn a little cash, such as her position as Karakura Red of Don Kanonji's Karakura superheroes. Karin actually knows that Ichigo is a shinigami and wants to know why he's suffering out of concern. Karin is a homonym for Japanese quince, a name of a fruit, which matches Ichigo's name being a homonym for strawberry.   ~!After the fight against Aizen, the story skips in time; Ichigo has then lost all of his Shinigami powers. It's been said that Karin's spiritual powers have expanded. She does not speak with Ichigo about her powers, claiming that her brother always suffered and protected the family and now it's her turn to protect him.!~

He appeared in the 11th episode of the anime.     

Younger brother of Jirou Mochizuki, he does not seem to exhibit powers of a vampire, such as the "Hide Hand." Although, he seems to have an extremely high pain tolerancy: as he is thrown into the ground and walls without injury in almost every episode.

As commented by Mimiko Katsuragi, he does not appear to be the brother of Jirou since he is not hurt by sunlight nor water, unlike Jirou. Another fact is that they look totally different from each other: Jirou is tall, has black hair and brown eyes, while his brother is short, has blond hair, and blue eyes. Kotarou stated that they are brothers because they are the last two remaining vampires of their special bloodline. They both carry goggles around their necks.

He has the same speech pattern and bears a striking resemblance to Jirou's former lover, Alice.

~! Later, it is revealed that Kotarou Mochizuki is actually the reincarnation of Alice.!~

A young child most often seen being led around by April. He is a Doll whose observation powers rely on glass as a medium. He considers November and April to be his friends, a fact that initially astonishes Misaki and November as dolls are not supposed to think outside of their programming. April and July frequent November 11's roadside site of death with offers of a bouquet or cigarettes and a beer or two. In the third episode of the 2nd season, July assists Suou by helping her direct her new-found powers against the FSB and the MIAC, and later joins up with Hei's group, although his motivations for joining them remains unclear.    

~!However, it is implied later on that he has fallen in love with Suou. After he and Suou are killed by Izanami, they are both seen in the alternate world Shion created, with July being a normal boy instead of a doll. !~

Yusa is a girl with long blond hair tied into two pigtails secured in place by a red ribbon each. Just like most of the members of the SSS, Yusa wears the standard uniform of the group. She also wears brown stockings and black loafers.  She is also seen wearing an earpiece with a microphone attached to it or carrying a walkie-talkie.   Yusa is an observer during the missions and her ability is transmitting information to help her team. She is a calm and gentle mannered girl. She also has a straight-forward and tsukkomi character. She doesn't show any emotion, and called scary by Hinata and Otonashi (in an omake). She also can't calm down without her headphone.

Fabiola is a young maid in the employ of the Lovelace family. She is one of the maids who work as Roberta's subordinates, and the only other combat-trained person among the maids apart from Roberta herself. In combat, she prefers to use two MAG-7s that were given to her by Roberta as well as a pump action China Lake NATIC (Mistakenly refered to as anEX 41 grenade launcher in the Manga). She also has heel blades concealed in her shoes.  Fabiola first appears in the same bar, The Yellow Flag, that Roberta met the Lagoon crew in, panicking everybody with her resemblance to Roberta. However, unlike Roberta, her suitcase is revealed to be filled with lollipops and a lunchbox with Scooby Doo and Ranger Smith on it. She is currently helping Garcia search for Roberta. She is something of a comic relief when compared with Roberta (whom she calls "head housemaid" with the utmost respect), as she is little, carries her grenade launcher concealed in her outfit, and is often prominent in humorous situations; such as her height, being picked up like a bratty little kid, to being made fun of her breast size.
