A young underground doctor who lives with Celty and is also her lover.  He mostly remains indoors and wears his white doctor's coat even when he is not at work.  He went to the same primary school as Shizuo and Izaya and finds them interesting, enjoying their fights ... up to a point. His father was also a doctor, and as a child,​ Shinra participated in surgery alongside him, the most notable being an autopsy on Celty when they first met.  As a doctor he is rather interested in what he considers to be interesting phenomena, such as the unlimited strength Shizuo shows in times of anger, and Celty's healing, headlessness and bodily functions.   Shinra seems to have the "capacity" to tell what Celty is feeling, much to her surprise since she doesn't have a head to show her emotions.

Shigeru Aoba is First Lieutenant at NERV and a computer technician. At times a stereotypical metal head, he is a nihilist and plays guitar (he can also sometimes be seen strumming an air guitar).  ~!In his implementation sequence, Lilith forces her way through his AT Field by bombarding him with a wall of Reis in which he screams in fear. She supposedly takes this tactic with his implementation because there is no one he loves or trusts enough to let his guard down, suggesting a possible layer of solitude and bitterness behind his cynical persona.!~ Again, his character is not explored in depth within the series. He is a high ranking vampire and the first progenitor from the Warlord Dominion who came to Itogami Island to initially hunt down Christoper Gardos, but it turns out that he actually hired him to activate the Nalakuvera and do battle with it as a means to relive him of boredom, which in the end it was Kojou, Sayaka and Yukina who destroyed it. Though, it was pointed out that he may have some abnormal degree of affection toward Kojou, it is suggested that he is more interested on the Kaleid Blood that flows inside Kojou's veins that was passed on by Avrora than Kojou himself.

After the Nalakuvera incited, he establishes a "Warlord Dominion" consulate at Itogami Island and becomes its consul.

Later on, he gains an interest in Bell and does whatever he can to make him into a hero, such as convincing Ryuu to help him or getting rid of Ishtar. If needs be, he will clash with allies, as shown when he was willing to sacrifice a number of Xenos in order to restore Bell's reputation despite working with Ouranos to protect them.

A student at N University who works in Souhei's lab. He is in charge of planning the seminar trip, and finds himself camping on Himaka island, where the Magata Research Institute is located.

Kenjirou Shirabu is a second year setter at Shiratorizawa Academy. He is the only player on Shiratorizawa's Boys' Volleyball Team who didn't get into the school with a sports scholarship. He took the exam to get into Shiratorizawa in hopes of being able to play with tall and strong players after watching Ushijima play in junior high. 

__Personality:__
He is respectful towards his upperclassmen but tends to bicker with Goshiki, a first year. Though he appears serious and composed, Shirabu is extremely hot-headed and gets annoyed at nearly every move his opponents pull. However, he is capable of recomposing himself quickly. He is also very studious and hardworking, spending all of his free time studying in order to pass the difficult entrance exam for Shiratorizawa. During junior high, he had good grades.

Wynton has a laid-back slacker-hacker style that accommodates the endless bits of gear and tech he seems to produce from thin air. A multi-purpose “hack-pack” slung over his shoulder completes the look. Wynton and Dan have been friends since the first grade. They met when Dan tried to backflip off of the lunch table and his hand-held game system went flying into a wall. Wynton fixed it with a paperclip and some gum.
