A 14-year-old girl whose life changes when she encounters the Puella Magi Homura and the familiar Kyuubey, who offers to transform her into a Puella Magi herself. She sees herself as a person without special qualities or talents, and after seeing Mami fighting against witches, wants to be a wonderful and cool Puella Magi like her. She is a rather selfless girl who wishes to be a magical girl simply so that she can help others. She allegedly has a large amount of magical potential within her. 

Madoka's heavily pink character design evokes a sense of child-like innocence and femininity. Her age and naive attitude is further implied with her pigtail haircut. Her immaturity is exemplified with props several times, such as when she brought an impractical sketchbook to a witch hunt, which is something you'd expect a child to do.

As a child, Chiriko was a shy girl and a member of the Super Peace Busters. Now, she is enrolled at an elite school with Matsuyuki. Currently, she is ranked fourth in her class. She is serious, stoic, and cocky. Upon meeting with Naruko, Chiriko insults both her and her friends; however, she has since made amends with Naruko. While the other members of the Super Peace Busters have fallen apart, Chiriko and Matsuyuki have remained friends after Menma's death.   ~!Chiriko is shown to have feelings for Matsuyuki; however, he does not reciprocate her affection. Matsuyuki's heart belongs to Menma. He asks Naruko out, although the current status of their relationship is unknown. Chiriko overhears this conversation and is devastated.!~

Haruka's younger sister, She initially sees both Takayuki and Mitsuki as older siblings until she finds out they have been seeing each other behind Haruka's back. While Haruka is in the hospital, she visits every day since there is no one else that can keep her company, even if Haruka is in a coma. This shows just how much she loves her older sister. She, like Mitsuki, is a powerful swimmer in her own right, but feels as if she can never match Mitsuki. Her intense hatred towards Mitsuki after the accident can be attributed to the feeling of personal betrayal by someone she considered an idol for throwing away her (Mitsuki's) talent and dreams as well as Mitsuki's betrayal of her sister by her sexual relationship with Takayuki. Rayet is a member of a group of Martians that were ordered to stay behind on Earth, alongside her father Wolf Areash, after the first Earth-Mars War in order to assassinate Princess [Asseylum Vers Allusia](https://anilist.co/character/88175/Asseylum-Vers-Allusia). After the operation however, all members of the group except Rayet were killed by [Sir Trillram](https://anilist.co/character/88438/Trillram) in order to hide all evidence. Rayet being the only survivor and orphan, Sir Trillram tries to kill Rayet to fully tie all loose ends until she finds refuge with [Inaho](https://anilist.co/character/88173/Inaho-Kaizuka) and his friends who are unaware of Rayet's background. She has a strong hatred towards the Vers Empire and seeks revenge for her father's death.

Rayet is a cold individual who stays cool in stressful situations and acts in a very calm manner. She doesn't seem to express many emotions even after witnessing the death of her father and comrades. Prior to her father's death, Rayet was a cheerful and energetic girl who deeply loved her father, the exact opposite of her present personality. Although born a Martian, she considers all Martians her enemies and wonders how Princess Asselyum is able to live alongside humans.

Although having the age and appearance of a young girl, she has a lot of knowledge about  Martian and Earth machinery/weaponry. She shows that she is also able to drive vehicles, properly use firearms, and pilot a Kataphrakt.

Jinja is a female character who is a protagonist. She seems to be a bit rash and has a close relationship to Chase Suno. Her Monsuno is called Charger.   Jinja is well-educated and cultured, but prefers the rougher adventures of life. She has a strong sense of fairness and justice, and is very intolerant of cheaters, liars and thieves. Jinja is strong-willed and focused but highly emotional and sometimes unpredictable.  She has light blue eyes, pale skin, and light brown hair. She always wears a light blue collared jacket with zippers and a white shirt underneath. She also wears black pants with matching boots. This look strongly indicates that she might be a tomboy. Yuzuha is Oboro's little sister and a friend to Aruruu and Camyu. She has been very sick with an unknown illness all her life, and is blind. Although bedridden most of the time, her senses of smell and hearing have been whetted by her lack of sight, and enabling her to recognize a person by their scent or even the manner of their footsteps. Yuzuha possesses a gentle persona, which she made especially apparent when dealing with her older brother, and in the fact that she refuses to let an animal die in the hope of obtaining her disease's cure.   ~! Sadly in the ending of the last episode (set unknown time after the events of the main series, but with the characters seemingly similar in age and appearance) she is presumed to have passed away. You see her brother Oboro visiting her grave and bringing the bell she likes. In the game, she's able to bear a healthy child by virtue of Hakuowlo's divine blood which can control her illness for some time. Oboro cares for the child in place of his late sister and leaves on a journey to show it the world.!~

Youngest member of Team Trinity, Nena pilots the Gundam Throne Drei. Simple in personality, she displays self-centeredness to an extent. She is attracted to Setsuna and kissed him once she first met him in the ship and he disgustingly pushed her away. Her Throne Drei stores a large quantity of highly concentrated, condensed GN particles and employs a GN field that transfers particles to other units and interferes extensively with communications. She&#039;s the strong support within Team Trinity. She habitually smiles and makes a V-sign with her fingers. Like Lockon and Fon, she owns her own Haro which is the same size as of the other Haro(s) in Gundam 00. This Haro is claimed to be the brother of Lockon Stratos&#039; Haro, but it appears the purple Haro has had a memory wipe, since it cannot recognize the orange Haro owned by Lockon. She may present herself as a young cheerful girl, but she is just as &quot;trigger happy&quot; as her siblings without regard for life. 

Shinichi's best friend and sometime companion. Shinichi and Satomi develop a romantic relationship over the course of the series, but their attraction to and fondness for one another is hampered by Shinichi's fear of his own monstrous nature, and Satomi's fear of Shinichi's secretive behavior and the mood swings that result from the trials and tribulations in his life.
