Being the president of the Student Council and a daughter to her influential parents, whom are both responsible in enforcing the ever stricter public morality laws, Anna is a soft-spoken and innocent yet strong and determined girl whose role is to get rid any materials that are deemed obscene or lewd not just in the school, but also in the society as a whole.

A member of the idol group Sweet Diva, she is Sakura's rival who is a tomboy and strong-minded, though, she may appear to be supportive of Sakura's plans to be a pro wrestler in order to redeem not only her honor but the group's reputation as well, she is actually jealous of Sakura for getting the top notch as the group's lead singer. It is hinted that she won't hesitate to take every opportunity to outshine Sakura, originally, it was her who got into a spat with Rio Kazama (eventually, Sakura got deeply involve after coming into her aide) because of Rio's insults about the two divas' (Sakura and her) poor choice of getting into wrestling as a promotional gimmick.

Tooka Yatogami's name is given by Shidou the second time they met. Due to being a spirit, she is always being targeted by the AST and is aiming for the kill; because of this, she hated humans for always shunning her and thinking that she wasn't allowed to live in this world. However, her whole life changed when she met Shidou.  Even with that high and cool presence, Tooka lacks some common sense and loves food very much.   ~!Once her power was sealed, she wasn't being targeted by the AST anymore, and she started attending Shidou's high school. Her surname was given by Reine.  She was overjoyed that she could live with Shidou now, but knowing that Origami was there too, she was somehow agitated and is always having a minor quarrel with Origami (mostly because of Shidou and their feelings).!~ 

Laki Olietta is an 18-year-old mage who uses wood-based magic, and can instantly reshape wood into a form of her choice. Due to this ability, she helped a lot with the rebuilding of the Fairy Tail Guild after it was vandalized by the Phantom Lord Guild. She likes glasses and wears them herself, and she has a dislike for perverts. Laki also has funny ways of expressing herself, for example she refers to getting a haircut as "chopping hair", eating as "feeding your stomach", and sleeping as "whittling away the defenseless hours". She seems to have a slightly sadistic side, as she keeps a large amount of torture devices in her room in Fairy Hills. 

A former adventurer who retired after her disastrous first quest.
~!Along with two of her friends, they decided to become adventurers. They recruited Priestess to be part of their party before taking on a goblin slaying quest. As they entered the caves, they are ambushed by goblins who critically injure Wizard and maul Warrior to death. She tells Priestess to take Wizard and leave her to fend off the goblins. She easily took down some of the goblins until the hobgoblin entered the fray, who easily overpowers her. The goblins proceeded to rape her until Goblin Slayer came to her rescue. After the incident, she became traumatized and unresponsive, thus was immediately relinquished from being an adventurer. She was then seen being brought to a temple with the other women who were also captured by the goblins to recover.!~

Yukine is a second year student who hangs around in the library's reference room during lunchtime. She takes care of many newcomers from other schools who also happen to be delinquents - in particular, people who knew her brother. She's very kind, and avails [Tomoya](https://anilist.co/character/4606) and [Youhei](https://anilist.co/character/4610) an instruction book for magical spells for them to try.

~!Yukine is actually involved deeply with the story relating to the delinquents. Her brother is well known for being a delinquent, and this sometimes gets her into different situations involving the delinquents of the town. It is later revealed, in After Story, that her brother died and nobody knew that other than the group of people that reside on her brother's side. Yukine later helps reunite the members of opposite gangs, and they all end up being friends.!~

Ushio is [Tomoya](https://anilist.co/character/4606) and [Nagisa](https://anilist.co/character/4604)'s daughter. She is a well-behaved, well-loved girl who is very curious about the world around her. Tomoya notes that she does not act like other girls her age. For example, most girls would want to have dolls; however, when Tomoya goes on a trip with her, he buys her a robot with which she is fascinated. Tomoya, finding it strange that she would prefer this type of toy, learns that Ushio has some interest in robots; thus he also calls her "boyish". Ushio also appears to like baseball. Ushio's interest has been influenced by her grandfather who teaches her to imitate famous baseball players. She refers to [Akio](https://anilist.co/character/7095) as "Akii" and calls her grandmother by her given name "Sanae".

In the few earlier episodes of the stories, Ushio stays with [Sanae](https://anilist.co/character/6831) and Akio. During her time with her grandparents, she learns to be a baseball addict like Akio, Ushio also learns strict disciplines from Sanae not to cry unless it is in the restroom.

~!As the story progresses on with Tomoya's recovery, she starts to live with her father. As she lives with her father, she later becomes friends with [Fuuko](https://anilist.co/character/4601), the sister of her mother's old teacher, [Kouko](https://anilist.co/character/6971). Due to the lack of time Tomoya can spend with Ushio, she sneaks out of her father's house to view a hospital she refers as "pleasant." This is the place that Akio once took Nagisa to beg for her life.!~ 

~!One day, Ushio falls dangerously ill, and the doctor's conclude that she has contracted the same mysterious illness that Nagisa once had. To support his daughter, Tomoya quits his job and chooses to stay with Ushio as she unsuccessfully fights for her life. Ushio asks Tomoya to take her on a trip like the last one they went to, but he refuses, saying she needs to heal first. Tomoya finally gives in the second time she asks. As they walk towards the train station in the snow, Ushio collapses, whispers "I love you" to her father, before dying in his arms. 

In the extra ending of Clannad: After Story, Nagisa and Ushio do not die and live happily with Tomoya.!~

~!At the edge of death after failing to get away from the world, it is revealed that she is actually the Girl in the Illusionary World who had lost her memory after dying in the real world.!~

Rea's former friend and schoolmate. Appears in episode 2.   ~! Her parents lost there jobs according to her. This also have to do with the father being overprotected toward Rea. !~

A middle schooler​ at an unnamed school. She sits at the back of class 1-2 next to [Nishikata](https://anilist.co/character/120799). Academically talented and physically capable she claims her only weaknesses are her ticklish armpits and her inability to stop teasing Nishikata.

The rival swimmer from Sametsuka Academy.  Rin Matsuoka is Haruka's rival who is also in 11th grade. He had gone abroad to study swimming, but his personality changed immensely by the time he had returned to Japan and for this reason he often perplexes his former teammates.  Rin goes to all-boys school.

Princess of Deviluke. Ran away from home so she doesn't have to get married. Uses many self-made inventions. At first she was pretending to love Rito to keep from getting married, but eventually she fell in love with him. She has physical abilities far beyond that of a human and also has a distinctive tail coming from her back (which is very sensitive).

Being an alien, Lala has far more strength, power and speed than the average human. Her physical strength (without any inventions or powers) surpasses any human on Earth, and maybe even some aliens in the solar system. She has also shown slight durability even with her own tongue, like when she ate one of Run's really spiced sandwiches and it didn't even phase her.

She can fire laser beams from her tail. However, her tail is both her weapon and her weakness. On Planet Deviluke, females' tails are far more sensitive than males'. When someone touches Lala's tail, she becomes weak and seems to lose her strength, though she can shake anyone off of her tail with her astonishing strength.

Perhaps Lala's most distinguishing ability is being an extraodinary inventor. She is considered a genius and has made many inventions. However, Lala very much has the personality of both a perky child and an absent-minded scientist, resulting in all of her inventions being very toy-like, troublesome, and serving no important purpose besides fun, mischief, and unintentional fanservice. A running gag in the plot is that her inventions usually do not work as well as Lala and the others had hoped, often resulting into a perverted accident.

A romantic and dreamy girl who easily falls in love with boys. She originally has a crush on Kusuo and tried her best to appeal to Kusuo. Kusuo in turn rejected her as hard as he could with his PSI powers. Kusuo even went as far as hooking her up with someone else but the relationship abruptly failed. She later develops a crush on Kaidou after he saved her from the unwanted attention of some guys at the beach.

Youngest of three sisters, a fan of μ's, and the leader of her school idol unit. Her family runs an inn, which boasts an open air bath with a view of the sea. A second year student.

She is the Magic Hero and the main heroine. She is the princess of the Jioral Kingdom.

Aliceliese is a calm person and a kind heart to which she uses mostly to protect her family legacy. While she comes off as a cold fighter when she's on the battlefield, Aliceliese isn't much different from a normal girl her age. She enjoys going to the opera (having cried during one play), and is a fan of art and can be very talkative at times.

Being a teenage girl, Alice has some interest in the opposite sex. Not having many males her age around her, she expresses most of this interest in Iska when they're not on the battlefield. She even treats their rivalry as something similar to a relationship, as Rin compared the way she was planning for their final battle to planning for a wedding.
