Zoro was the first crew member to be recruited by [Luffy](https://anilist.co/character/40/Luffy-Monkey). 

Zoro is a skilled swordsman who fights with his own unique sword style known as santoryu (three katana fighting style). This is achieved by using one katana in each hand, and another in his mouth. He is also seen fighting with only one or two swords. When in a serious fight he ties his normally, tied on the arm bandana, on his head. Though not a samurai, he appears to maintain a certain degree of bushido, and is frequently mistaken for one. Unlike Luffy and most of the other Straw Hat pirates, Zoro has been known to kill his opponents if he has to, though never in cold blood. 

Zoro has a stern, serious and distanced personality, however he often reacts in a goofy and exaggerated comic style due to his gruff, impatient attitude. On the ship, he normally either trains with weights or sleeps. The only work he is seen doing regularly is hoisting the anchor using his great strength. He also likes sake, almost to the degree that Luffy likes meat, but like [Nami](https://anilist.co/character/723/Nami), he never gets drunk due to his inhumanly-high endurance and tolerance for alcohol. Another notable trait is his lack of orientation, as Zoro often gets lost, even in small, familiar spaces or when being led by someone. Despite this, he is often the first to sense an enemy or danger, and the first to react. He is often displayed being well aware of dangerous situations and people around him.  

Zoro often reminds others of the harsh facts, which often shocks some of the other crew members, although they usually decide he is right. Zoro has also stated that he is an atheist, and has never believed in anything except himself. He often comes across as arrogant and overconfident, but only because he knows he's a strong man with great fighting ability. Even so, Zoro knows that he still has a lot of untapped potential, and is constantly seen training and trying to improve his fighting skills. He adheres to a strict sword master's code of honor, and never falsely brags or lies about his abilities, sometimes outright admitting a weakness, even to an enemy. He also never tries to escape from a fight or use trickery to win, believing that doing so is cowardly and scorning anyone who uses such tactics. Zoro is very vigorous, strong-willed, and determined.

Alciel is one of Satan's Demon Generals and was also transported to modern day Japan with him. Extremely loyal to Maou, he takes care of the domestic duties at home and goes to the library to research ways for Maou and himself to regain their powers.

Back in Ente Isla, Alciel was known widely as the right hand of King Satan and a master strategist, making him both a trusted adviser and top military commander to the ruler of the Demon Realm. However, he shared his leader's belief that humans lives are meaningless and expendable, considering demonkind to be superior beings and showing a strong sense of pride bordering on extreme arrogance. 

While living in Japan, Ashiya has come to accept his rather mundane life, though he still openly laments how low they have fallen since arriving on Earth, and still tends to consider humans as beneath him. Due to their lack of sufficient funds and personal comforts, Ashiya has become incredibly tightfisted and strict about the household budget. One part of him that has not changed, though, is his extreme dedication and loyalty to the Demon King.

Wilibald Koenig is the 3rd Company commander of V601 under the command of [Tanya Degurechaff](https://anilist.co/character/121052).

One of the Hachiyou, he is the Seiryū of Heaven and is also a samurai in the service of the Imperial court. Being a descendant of a proud samurai line Yorihisa has been trained with a sword for as long as he can remember, because of this he is acknowledged to be a fearsome opponent. Yorihisa was raised by his older brother Sanehisa; until his Sanehisa’s untimely death during a mission to protect a young lord; Yorihisa blames himself dearly for his brother's death due to ultimately being saved by Sanehisa in exchange of his own life. Because of this guilt, he takes protecting everyone within the group very seriously, even to the extent of being willing to pass off his own life for them, this is especially true with Akane for whom he holds a strong sense of duty towards protecting.

An unflappable free spirit traveling alongside Sturm, Drang might give you the impression of being upbeat and affectionate, but it's all an act. He make his foes let down their guard, after which he'll unleash one of the countless schemes stirring behind his smiling face. His personality stands in stark contrast to that of Sturm, his protector, but their pairing actually serves to complement their respective weaknesses. He is currently working alongside Sturm in the empire's employ.

Zaryusu Shasha is a lizardman of the Green Claw Tribe, and he's the younger brother of its chieftain, Shasuryu Shasha. His scales are dark green and black charcoal in color. A very wise individual, he is also regarded as the strongest lizardman and he is the wielder of the magical blade Frost Pain, one of the few precious treasures the lizardmen possess.

Zaryusu is a traveler, which is the name given to a lizardman who left the village in order to explore the outside world, and has a crimson brand/tattoo on his chest which denotes his status as such.  Travelers are very respected individuals among the lizardmen, but conversely they don't have a say in any important matters, which heavily implies they might be socially shunned.

He has a Hydra as a pet named Rororo. Zaryusu stumbled upon it during his travels after finding it had been abandoned by its mother. Rororo is actually a deformed Hydra, because it has only four heads, while normally hydras have six. Rororo regards Zaryusu as his parent and would do practically anything to protect him.

~!Zaryusu falls in love with Crusch Lulu the moment he meets her, and claiming it's love at first sight, he immediately proposes in marriage. She eventually reciprocated his feelings and just before the lizardmen's final battle, Crusch fearful that he might die asks him to impregnate her with his child.
Ainz proposed that the lizardmen fight for the right to their freedom in a duel against Ainz's champion, Cocytus. Due to the massive skill gap, he was among those killed by Cocytus, although it should be noted he was the last one to be slain. He is later resurrected when the lizardmen swear loyalty to Ainz.!~

Ottar is the captain of the Freya Familia and is currently the only Level 7 in Orario. When Ottar was a child, he was abandoned without even having known his own name. Freya found him dying in an alley somewhere and told him he was beautiful and took him into her Familia. She also gave him his name at this time. Due to her material support and emotional warmth, Freya would become everything to Ottar. Two years after joining her Familia, Ottar would become Level 2. Around this time, Mia joined the Freya Familia at the request of Freya in order to train Ottar. Ottar clashed a few times with the Zeus and Hera Familias before they were defeated by the One Eyed Black Dragon and were forced out of Orario. Each time ended in him being defeated. At some point in the past, Ottar half-killed a Balor, the Monster Rex of the 49th floor. Later, after learning about Ais defeating Udaeus by herself, he also defeated Udaeus by himself while managing to obtain the Udaeus' sword. He reached Level 6 fifteen years before his battle with Udaeus and Level 7 after defeating Zald seven years before the same battle.

Ottar is extremely loyal to Freya and will follow her orders. He is shown to not feel any jealousy toward Freya's interest in Bell and does not allow anyone to insult Freya, becoming enraged if anyone does so. Despite being a member of the Freya Familia, he has been shown to help others, such as when he used an elixir on Mikoto after she used an Ignis Fatuus. Ottar believes the opposite of Eina, believing that adventurers would never break out their shell if they didn't adventure. He is also one of the few adventurers who are still active that has clashed with the Zeus and Hera Familias. His personality is greatly influenced by his experiences facing them.

A member of Burning Rescue, in charge of heavy machinery. He's a muscular guy in his 30s, and he's always training his body. He partners with the diminutive Lucia when out on a job.

Described as a hotheaded, hyper-sexual juvenile punk, he is easily annoyed, quick to lose his temper, and his juvenile actions often get him and others into trouble.

Despite this, he is supposedly good at looking after new members, and so was assigned as Leo's partner/bodyguard. He is also something of a ladies man, possessing several lovers in town.

For reasons unknown, he continuously tries to fight Klaus, only to be routinely smacked down.

He is an armor repair worker in the Kaburagi Group, therefore, a senior co-worker of [Natsume](https://anilist.co/character/170191/)'s. Although he is a half-baked repair worker, he kindly supports Natsume. Flippant with good beat, he often takes Natsume out for dinner.

Considered a demon duke by some, Zepes is an arrogant student at Delzogade. He is the younger brother of Leorig Indu.

Joutarou is Holly Kujo's son and Joseph Joestar's grandson. In Part 3, he has a recognizable attire of a blue trenchcoat-length school uniform jacket with yellow chains on the collar. He also wears a trademark hat which, while torn in the back, often seems to blend with his hair. When Joutarou first appears, he turned himself in to the police because he believes his Stand is an evil spirit possessing him. After he is released from jail, and learns what his Stand is, Joutarou gets used to Star Platinum -- a fierce, muscular, vaguely Aztec-looking spirit with "the precision of a machine" and the ability to destroy virtually anything with a sledgehammer barrage of fists. He has a very tough exterior, and is even rather rough and delinquent, but he also is very dedicated, intense, and loyal. He is very intelligent, but usually lets his (or Star Platinum's) fists do the talking with the enemy, even though he often has to rely on his wits to deal with stand users' attacks. He is also known for a quick and short temper. His catchphrase is "Yare yare daze." It generally relates of being bored or exasperation. In Part 3, he is the main target of Dio, who realizes that Joutarou is his greatest threat.

One of the strongest stands in the JoJo universe; Star Platinum possesses super human senses, strength, stamina, accuracy and speed. It can see for great distances and at great magnifications. The Star tarot card that Star Platinum is named after symbolizes hope. Like other physically powerful stands, Star Platinum suffers from a narrow range of activity. It can only be active within a 2-3 meter radius from Joutarou. ~!It is similar to Dio's The World stand, and, it turns out, can likewise be used to stop time, but that ability is only revealed in Joutarou's epic battle with Dio Brando when Dio was about to drop a steamroller on him.!~

In the sixth story arc Stone Ocean, Joutarou becomes an oceanologist, moves to the United States, eventually marries, and his daughter, Jolyne inherits the potential to wield Stand powers.

Koji Huyukawa is former soldier who found beauty in carnage and disappointment in other people, he earned his moniker of "The Pyrotechnician" due to his destructive explosions that caused mass property damage and loss of life, earning him the ire of Kura.

Inasa is an energetic and enthusiastic young man who expresses himself with vigor. He's very loud, oddly polite, and values passion over anything else. Inasa believes that all heroes have "hot spirits" that enable them to motivate and help others. He disapproves of heroes who do not embody the spirit of passion, which is why he has negative feelings about Endeavor and his son.

He is a student of Salt Middle School and a member of the Body Improvement Club. 

Dondochakka Birstanne (ドンドチャッカ・ビルスタン, Dondochakka Birusutan) is one of Nel Tu's "brothers" and protectors. Like Pesche, he attempts to chase after Nel and Ichigo in Las Noches, but ends up finding Renji instead, who he frequently irritates with his clumsiness and emotional outbursts.  Dondochakka has a large, spotted humanoid hollow with a tiki mask and compound eyes. He appears to speak with a yakuza-style accent and is fairly tame in comparison to other hollows. Despite his menacing appearance, he is prone to tear-filled outbursts at the slightest provocation, usually when he's worried about something.   ~!Dondochakka once served Nel when she was an Espada, but had his mask torn off by Nnoitra and was left for dead along with Pesche and Nel. After realizing that Nel had reverted to a defenseless child, he and Pesche pledged to protect Nel by never telling her about her former life. After that event, he travels Hueco Mundo with Pesche and Nel Tu, and their pet, Bawabawa.!~ As described by Pesche, Dondochakka possesses numerous insect spirits within his stomach. One of these is the worm hollow Bawabawa. He can spit these spirits out at will as allies in combat. In addition, he carries a spiked mace-like weapon inside his stomach.
