A short, hairless (for most of the series) warrior monk, loyal Kuririn provides comic relief during tense moments. Like Chiaotzu, Kuririn doesn't have a nose. He is a good-natured, outgoing and competitive martial artist.  Once a fierce rival of Son Goku, he quickly became his best friend while training under Muten Roshi. He also is close to Goku's son, Gohan. <div rel="spoiler">He eventually marries Android 18 and settles down, having a daughter named Marron.</div>

He is the only one who has memories about how the world used to be. He is the one who will pass to Wataru knowledge about world and about human customs...

Takeuchi-sensei was the homeroom teacher of Shouya, Shouko, Naoka, Shimada, Hirose, Miki, and Miyoko during their 6th-grade year.

~!While he was disappointed in Ishida for bullying Nishimiya, he still laughed at the jokes made about her, and once Nishimiya left, he prompted the class to turn Ishida into a scapegoat for all their bullying. He refused to believe Ishida when he claimed he was being bullied too. Years later, Ishida runs into Takeuchi again when looking for locations for the film. Takeuchi says that Ishida has grown into a fine young man and all the bad things in his past have changed Ishida for the better. Mashiba dislikes how Takeuchi talks about Nishimiya and throws his drink into Takeuchi's face, costing them the chance to film at the school, though with Ishida's later hospitalization and Mashiba's apology to him, Takeuchi allows them to shoot anyway.!~

The most mysterious of the Gung-Ho Guns. His portrayal in both the anime and manga are drastically different.    In the anime, Zazie uses the identity of a young boy named &quot;Beeb&quot; as a disguise. He can control sand-worms with a high-frequency device he wears on his head.    The anime never exactly gives a clear explanation as to what Zazie was. It can be theorized that Zazie was a malevolent entity that took control of the boy whenever it needed to, that he was in fact a much older man who only looked like a young boy, or that he was actually a child assassin driven to the brink of insanity by his association with the Guns.    In the manga...   ~!his body is controlled by a collective of group-minded insects. These insects are the original inhabitants of the planet Gunsmoke and have formed an alliance with Knives to see whether humans or Plants are better to co-exist with. The insects that form Zazie also seem to represent the planet&#039;s consciousness, as represented by the sandworms he can control as well (Zazie has been referred to as the &#039;leader of the sandworms&#039; by Knives). His body is destroyed by Hoppered for spying on him and Midvalley. Zazie later reappears in the body of a teenage girl. In Trigun Maximum 11 this body is destroyed as well after trying to implant an insect in Knives to control him. Zazie reappears one last time as an odd-looking man in disco-clothing in order to deliver his coin to Vash. It is revealed that these bodies are human, but are controlled by a small worm-like creature that lives inside it, similar to the one Zazie tried to implant in Knives. When the hive is destroyed by Knives, the man spits out the creature and has no memories of his time as host to Zazie.!~    His Gung-Ho Gun number is 12 in the manga, and 4 in the anime. Approximately 15 years old when the series begins, Bat is a wandering thief and orphan. He originally resided in a small village run by Toyo, but when the food supply began to run out he left so that the younger orphans could have his share. While wandering he is captured and imprisoned at Lin's village, which is where he meets Kenshiro. Impressed by the strength of Kenshiro, he tags along with him (somewhat by force), believing that this way he will no longer have any trouble finding food. At first, he is depicted as a selfish nuisance, but after a while Bat is shown to be a virtuous person, as evident by his reasons for leaving his home village. Bat is rather cowardly and careless and will often jump to the wrong conclusions, but this masks his kind nature and he is usually willing to help out in a situation when he can. Bat is very good at fixing machines and can also drive, an example being a dune buggy used as transportation throughout the first part of the manga. He looks up to Kenshiro like an older brother, and likewise Kenshiro begins to see him as a younger brother.   ~! After viewing Kenshiro's many death battles, he is able to grow remarkably into an expert martial artist. After the time-skip following Raoh's defeat (the segment which corresponds to the Hokuto no Ken 2 anime series), he is the young leader of a band of resistance fighters known as the Hokuto Army (北斗の軍,, Hokuto no Gun?), fighting against the dictatorship of the Imperial General Jakō. He has also fallen in love with Lin, whom he protects without hesitation. When Lin is kidnapped and taken to the Land of Asura, Bat secretly follows Kenshiro to save her (but does not show up until the end of the arc). After saving Lin, who had had her memory erased so that she falls in love with the first person she sees as result of Kaioh's Shikanhaku point, Bat is prepared to let her see Kenshiro first, but Ken walks off before she can wake up and leaves her with Bat. Before he leaves, he tells Bat "My fate is one of constant battle, you are the only one who can truly make Lin happy".  However, Bat is aware that Lin's feelings for him are not genuine and erases her memory again with his limited Hokuto Shinken knowledge during their wedding. When Kenshiro's memory is erased after a thunderstorm (he assumed that Yuria was the one who erased his memory, so that he can be happy with Lin), Bat poses as him during the fight against the blind Bolge, but is defeated and then tortured by Bolge who believes him to be Kenshiro. Bat is ready to die, so Bolge would think that Kenshiro is dead and no longer search for him. However, Kenshiro and Lin regain their memories and they set off to save Bat. Bolge is killed, but Bat is fatally wounded in the fight. In the very end of the manga, Lin chooses to stay with the (presumed) dead Bat, accepting to reciprocate his feelings out of her free will. When Kenshiro leaves Lin and Mamiya, Bat is then suddenly brought to life. Bat was saved by Kenshiro pressing on his pressure points with the use of Hokuto Shinken. !~

Nikaido is a quite interesting character, but, unfortunately, he does not show up on the TV series. Many plots that Nikaido is involved are rewritten and Nikaido is mostly replaced by Yotsuya-san, which is interesting because Nikaido hates Yotsuya-san.  The walking insensitivity of room #2 is a college student who came from Ibaraki. He&#039;s always curious, so when he realized that nobody knew a thing about Yotsuya (everyone else had already given up on finding out anything about the peeping tom of room #4), he set out to find out about Yotsuya.  

Makoto Hyuga is First Lieutenant at NERV and a computer technician. He is something of a nerd, reading manga while on his break time, but is a hard worker, nonetheless. He also appears to harbor a deep crush for Misato, as Lilith approaches him during his implementation in the form of Misato. 

The young heir to a powerful Merchant, the Ayamaro, in the city where Kirara begins her search. His shielded lifestyle leaves him with a somewhat self-centered yet playful attitude on life, really a cover for a rather calculating, manipulative and cruel character. He falls in lust with Kirara upon first sight and seeks to add her to his harem. When Ayamaro is summoned to the capital, he becomes the new minister of the city of Kogakyo. However, Ukyo himself is soon summoned to the capital, where he is revealed to be a replicant of the current emperor, Amanushi, who sent Ukyo out to be raised by peasants and taught by merchants in the hope of creating a successor worthy to be emperor. After surviving a 3-day ordeal, Ukyo is proclaimed heir to the throne. He then murders the emperor to succeed him and launches a plan to pit the villagers, ronin and nobuseri bandits against one another to consolidate his control.    Ukyo has an extreme dislike for mechanical samurai, especially the Nobuseri and Kikuchiyo, because they remind him of his days as a peasant when he himself was terrorized by bandits.     ~!  Ukyo is eventually killed in the final episode by falling into a ravine along with the capital ship. !~

Debut: Episode 7 "A Risky Racket"   Shinsuke is forced to steal to support himself and his mother. He first appears bumping into Fuu on the street, and it is later revealed that he picked her pocket. His next victim happens to be the head of a band of drug smugglers, yielding a packet of opium powder.    ~!He takes the drugs to Hikoichi for resale (Shinsuke doesn't have the connections to sell it safely), but gets ratted out. Meanwhile, the doctor is telling him that it would take a hundred times his current funds to cure his mother's illness, and his mom is getting antsy because he won't tell her what he's up to. Fuu corners him at the same time the gang tracks him down, he takes her hostage and holes up in a warehouse. He was injured by the gang, and F binds the cut and gets him to talk about his problems. The police announce they will storm in at sunset if he doesn't give himself up, the gang crawls in the window looking for the drugs, and M comes in raging after he realizes that the kidnapper robbed him. In the ensuing chaos, Shinsuke slips out the window and runs across the roof. Despite his pleasant and calm outward expression, Hakkai is a demon not to be reckoned with. He is capable of channeling his chi into powerful bursts of energy in battle, and can also form it into a shield to protect himself or his friends. He wears three earcuffs that act as his limiters. When removed, his true power is released. He can often dispatch demons much larger than himself or numerous foes in this form. Hakkai is often reluctant to do so due to the possible danger to his friends.

Out of Sanzo's companions, as well as Sanzo himself, Hakkai is the one who takes care of most of the group's basic tasks: cleaning up after them, shopping, cooking, etc. The jeep Hakkai drives is actually his small magical dragon companion, Hakuryuu.

Yuan is a half-elf double agent—the leader of the Renegades, an organization opposing Cruxis, and one of the Four Seraphim of Cruxis. He pretends to be loyal to Mithos so he can learn Cruxis's plans and thwart them. When he is busy working for Mithos, Yuan leaves the control of the Renegades to Botta, his lieutenant. 4,000 years before the game begins, Yuan journeyed with Mithos and his companions in the past to end the Kharlan War and was engaged to Martel before she was killed. She asked Mithos and Yuan to make the world a better place and to stop the half-elf discrimination before she died. Mithos tried to do this, but not in the way Martel had intended. Yuan knew that Martel didn't want her wish to be fulfilled in the way Mithos interpreted and thus tries to stop him. Later on, he helps the Chosen's group defeat Mithos, and is thus something of an anti-hero. Yuan is resilient in his views and calculative. He firmly decides to subvert Mithos unlike Kratos, but also decides to covertly do it in order to keep close to Mithos. Lloyd and Yuan are shown in contrast to each other, despite their similar goals, with their methods being the focal point. Yuan's methods tend to be more cut-throat, and he is willing to sacrifice and harm others if necessary, while Lloyd consistently goes out of his way to find solutions that don't harm his friends or any innocents.
