Somehow, Tohru convinced him that he does have a reason to live, he just hasn't found it yet. Shigure likes to play with Ritsu's insecurities and gullibility, much as he does his editor, [Mitsuru](https://anilist.co/character/9759).

Natsuki Takaya derived his name from the eighth month, odakaritsuki or "rice harvest month," which is the month of the monkey, of the traditional Japanese calendar. In an author's note, Takaya said that she regretted how little role Ritsu played in the main story.

A dispassionate, withdrawn assassin, Golden Darkness is hired by one of Lala's arranged suitors, Lacospo to kill Rito, until she breaks the contract, noting the true nature behind her target. Golden Darkness is currently staying on Earth, roaming around the city streets and Sainan High, with a motivation to continue her duty to assassinate Rito, although she has yet to accomplish this (hinting she only said this as an excuse to stay on Earth, which is then confirmed). Commonly referred as "Yami-chan", she spends her time reading books and magazines, while eating taiyaki (it is the only thing she eats on Earth since it is the first food offered by Rito, prior to spending a night at the Yuuki residence for a sukiyaki dinner). By her planet's calculations, she is 24 years-old, despite having the appearance of an 11-year-old (albeit a rather mature one), although this is only mentioned in the anime and has a weakness towards anything slimy.

Like Lala, Golden Darkness' physical abilities are exponentially stronger than a human's. She carries a unique ability to turn her body parts into various objects through use of nano machines circulating her body, ranging from swords to dragon heads. Unfortunately, excessive use becomes a hazard to her health. She states she hates "ecchi" people, and does not hesitate to assault a person who looks at her in an obscene way, even if it's her own fault like when she was using her abilities to increase her bust she attacks Rito when he saw her, mostly out of embarrassment or for many occasions standing at the top of something such as stairs where her panties could be seen by accident. She has also stated, that she doesn't understand if she can feel love and all its wonders, though she slowly becomes closer to Rito once seeing that he is a good person.

~!In Chapter 149, it is revealed that her creator is named Doctor Tearju (later revealed as Tearju Lunatique) and her given name is Eve, revealed in Darkness Chapter 14. When she was under Tearju's care, she was bright and cheerful, until Tearju was forced to escape from the organization that created Eve. This left her under the care of the evil scientists who raised her to be a cold assassin.!~

President of the Student Council and one of the Three Beauties of Seitetsu, she is a model student with perfect attendance record. In addition, however, she is also a Red Kämpfer fighting with the Schwert ability of wielding two chained daggers at will. 

She wants to expose Moderator's intentions but has no problem fighting Blue Kämpfers until that goal was accomplished. After being spared following a defeat by Natsuru, she enters a truce with Natsuru and Akane and has since taken an interest in Natsuru in a slightly sly and teasing manner, throwing him off balance with embarrassing remarks/actions while maintaining a poker face in the process, despite being constantly treated with suspicion as a result. 

After being invited by Kaede to visit her home and then spend the night there, however, Shizuku is seen getting inquisitive about what happens after Kaede snuck into Natsuru's bed and then wondering if she is indeed feeling jealous over Kaede getting the chance to do so. Later on she continues to give off hints that she is romantically interested in him, asking him out on a date and eventually deep-kissing him in front of Sakura and the others although her constant ambiguity again seems to become her undoing (a fact she seems to have realized, calling her love an unrequited one), as Natsuru keeps thinking that she is up to something whenever she makes an advance on him.

Hina is a second-year student at Haneoka Girls' High School and is the guitarist of Pastel*Palettes. She is the younger, more bright-eyed twin of Sayo.

A natural genius with an impeccable memory, Hina can acquire and master new skills very quickly, often even with just one attempt. She is very cheerful and carefree, but her relaxed mindset also makes her unable to understand other people's emotions, and as such doesn't sometimes notice if she's insulting them. With this, Hina is also very candid, always being honest and sure of both herself and her actions, though at times she ends up being more blunt than honest.  

Unlike Sayo, who dislikes being a twin, Hina seems to embrace it. She is very supportive of her sister and loves her regardless of how she treats her, but they often get into arguments due to their conflicting personalities. To add to this Hina wants to do most things together with her, but this ultimately has lead to Sayo quitting most of her hobbies as she felt like Hina was just copying her and then always did it better than her, thus feeding into her inferiority complex more.

A third-year at Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy, Miyabi's childhood friend, and Murasaki's older sister. Imu blames herself for the loss of Miyabi's mother to a yōma attack. Following that attack she trained alongside Miyabi to become shinobi until their enrollment into Hebijo Clandestine Girls' Academy.

After rising through the ranks at Hebijo, Imu and Miyabi were chosen to participate as Elites on a mission to eliminate a squad of Good shinobi. The Good shinobi were hunting yōma; and when the two opposing squads clashed, the yōma took advantage of the chaos and slew most of the shinobi present--including Ryōbi and Ryōna's older sister, Ryōki.

Blinded by rage, Miyabi activated Blood Riot--a forbidden art that draws upon the power of yōma in exchange for a terrible price. Although Miyabi defeated the yōma, she lost control of Blood Riot and fell into a coma. After recovering from her own injuries over the incident, Imu tended to the comatose Miyabi until the aftermath of the battle against the yōma, Orochi, that left Hebijo in ruins. Waking from her coma, Miyabi vows to restore Hebijo's pride by defeating the newly formed Crimson Squad and Hanzō's elites with Imu at her side.

Imu specializes in fighting with swift footwork and her staff, Ruyi Bang. She is capable of changing the size of her staff and channeling lightning through it for stunning results. Her guardian is the fox.
