Because he possesses synesthesia, Sora can feel the colors and smells of everything. Bright and cheerful and has a honest personality, Sora's range of movements is high after having trained and improved a lot. His singing voice sounds as if it's frolicking, and his performances are so light and energetic that he seems to bounce.

Sora is an energetic and extroverted boy who loves parkour and video games. He goes at his own pace and loves to hang out with others, but dislikes crowds due to his synesthesia. As a result of his synesthesia, he often references the "colors" of other people. 

Sora is extremely emotionally aware, but due to his unusual way of verbally communicating, he cannot communicate emotional support in an "understandable" way, and expresses by describing colors. This “strange” behavior caused him to be bullied as a kid and become a shut-in, but when attending Yumenosaki, he felt much more loved and cared for, especially after joining Switch.

The younger sister of Kashou Minazuki. She takes an almost mother-like pride in the catgirls she has trained. Despite her elegant demeanor, she has a gigantic brother complex which occasionally surfaces as love declarations for Kashou.

All Tetsuro needs to do is get a pass on the Galaxy Express 999, the cosmic railway. And one day, Tetsuro meets the mysterious Maetel, who promises to give him her unlimited use pass for the Express on the condition that she be his travelling companion. Tetsuro happily agrees, and embarks with Maetel on an adventure across the stars. When Tetsuro starts out, he is every bit the whiny, immature, selfish child. However, the adventures he goes with Maetel on, the people he meets, and the sights he witnesses cause Tetsuro to slowly but truly grow into a strong, young man. Tetsuro also grows closer and closer to Maetel, and although the nature of their relationship might not be called romantic, they form a very strong bond of love. Though it is never explicitly stated, it is implied that Tetsuro is Captain Harlock's son. The evidence for this includes Tetsuro's mother saying that his father is alive but away for some reason, Captain Harlock's mysterious attachment to Tetsuro, and simple physical resemblance.
