The main protagonist of the series, who just recently moved and now attends the Hoshio Private Academy in her first year of high school. Because she caught mumps and thus had to miss out on her high school entry exams, she was forced to repeat her entire final middle school year. As a result, she is very self-conscious about her current standing and that she does not have anyone of her old school friends in her company, and is therefore very glad to build up an immediate friendship with Eiko, Kamuri and Tamate.

Being seemingly perfect in everything she does while she is the student council president makes her very popular. She is trying her best to help everyone out that is in need but she has a big secret, she loves her brother to the point her fantasies can get intense enough so she actually loses her sense of reason for a certain time. She is secretly writing a light novel about a little sister loving her brother way too much to cope, but because of certain reasons she asked her brother to become her stand-in to play the role of the author in public.

Nikaido is a companion to Kaiman, who both hunt Magic Users. She is the owner of a restaurant called the Hungry Bug in the Hole. There she serves primarily gyozas with a few slices of shiso, which Kaiman adores. Nikaido's gyozas are constantly declared as the best in the Hole.

Nikaido has long blond hair, blue eyes, an athletic body build, and a curvy figure (shown mostly after her Devil training). At the beginning of the series, her clothes consisted of dark baggy pants and a black jacket with Chinese design. About midway in the series, she wears a green overalls with combat boots and leather gloves. She has an easy going and friendly attitude, though keeps many of her worries and anxieties to herself. She is confident in her physical abilities and isn't easily frightened.

Suema was the last target of Dr. Kisugi, the serial killer of 5 years ago.   From this, Suema gained a very high interest in criminal psychology which makes her a bit of an outcast among her classmates.  After running into Nagi Kirima she also gains an interest in the supernatural occurrences in her city and through the course of the Boogiepop series she seeks to uncover the truth behind these incidents.

Ronye Arabel is Kirito's valet who learns swordsmanship under him in the Sword Mastery Academy.

She is the daughter of a 6th class Noble Family; like Tiese, she entered Sword Mastery Academy trying to raise her family status.

She was one of the top 12 of her year, so she became a valet, but what she does not know is that Kirito did not choose her. Instead she was left along with Tiese after all other elite swordsmen selected their valets. The reason for this was that they were from the lowest Noble Class, so none of the noble elite swordsmen wanted to take them as their valets.

Nina is a member of Rat Production's idol group, Fruit Tart, and is in charge of costumes. Ever since she was a little girl, she had been a fashion model for western-style clothes. But now at age sixteen, Nina's height increased - and continues to increase - rapidly. This resulted in difficulty finding work as a model in Japan since such in-demand fashion clothes could barely fit her.

She is sometimes the biggest draw of Fruit Tart, owing mostly to her physical appearance and not necessarily because of her singing or dancing.

Somewhat the antithesis of Roko, Nina is seen as timid and soft-spoken, and just as likely prone to tears whenever she is put on the spot. Like Roko, she is sensitive about her stature and had somehow developed a love for small things as a way to cope with her size. Because of this, her self-proclaimed height of 170 centimeters (5-foot 7-inches) is probably an exaggeration, as she is likely to be much taller in reality.

Nina naturally takes a liking towards Roko and both of them manage to find support in each other for their insecurities. She is also quite attracted to various scents and fragrances, which often causes her to completely lose focus.

One of the Heroes of the first Hero team and the youngest of quintet. Anzu is a bookworm that is especially fond of romance novels. While she isn't the physically strongest fighter out of her team, she is very intelligent and is more knowledgeable than most of the team. She is very close with [Tamako](https://anilist.co/character/126241/Tamako-Doi), thinking of her as her senpai and being her best friend. Anzu is sometimes afraid to fight, which is a disadvantage when she needs to fight as a Hero. However, she is very protective and would fight for her friends until her death.

As a Hero, Anzu wields a repeating crossbow in battle, named Kinkyusen. She is also very intelligent, which can help her think during battles.

Milo Nekoyangi's older sister who is stricken with the Rust disease. She is Captain of the Imihama Watch which defends society from "mushroom terrorists". 


Hana is quiet, confident, and impassive in all situations. Even as a young girl, she did not betray emotion when her father forbade her from seeing her best friend, or following the collapse of her house. Neither did she falter when rescuing her best friend from the rubble instead of her own family.

Ririna is one of the 400 Goblins that migrated to Rimuru's Goblin Village while he was away in Dwargon. After being named by Rimuru, she evolved to a Goblina. She is entrusted by him to manage Tempest's production affair as its supervisor. 



A member of Oota Tribe. Contrary to her cute appearance, she fires rocket launchers while laughing.

Enoki loves to eat and is always hungry.

In Oota City, where it is difficult to secure food, she stays with Sonoda and the others so she won't have any problems with food.
