Tokaku is a distant and cold girl. Even at first glance, she has the appearance of an assassin.She eventually grows to care for Haru in time, even coming to the point of calling herself Haru's protector. Azuma dislikes it when other people try to get close to her, and she especially hates being called by her first name, but Haru compromises and calls her "Tokaku-san". She is skilled with using knives, and has exceptionally quick reflexes. It is soon revealed that Azuma has never killed anyone before, despite possessing very useful skills as an assassin.

Her family is a well known family of assassins. They say that the east's Azuma and the west's Kuzunoha are two assassination clans that existed in the country since ancient times. The Kuzunoha was the main branch and the Azuma is a branch family. However, interactions between these two clans have almost died out.

When she was little, she lived with her grandmother and aunt where she was already practicing her skills by throwing stones to a dartboard. Her aunt tried to persuade Tokaku to leave her grandmother's house and come live in the city, although her grandmother did not agree and called Tokaku's aunt "the disgrace of the Azuma Clan".

She's been described as being adult-like and cool to the point that Kayano admits that she's attracted to her despite her large bust.

Her blaze is a modified kusarigama with one end a sickle and the other end having a sharp dagger like point. The chain is made up of individual shards that are not connected, but acts as if they are.

[Ohta](https://anilist.co/character/89788/Ohta)'s childhood friend. She loves [Miyano](https://anilist.co/character/89789/Miyano) as a friend and affectionately calls her Myaano.

Echizen is quite aggressive toward anyone, excluding Miyano. She gets upset or angry about small things; one example is whenever Ohta calls her 'Ecchan'. She also lacks the ability to eat sweets if they are "cute". She easily jumps to conclusions but is very dedicated to helping in what she believes in.



A second year junior high school student who works part-time at Tenman Shrine as a shrine maiden. After her mother went missing, she lived for a long time with her grandparents on her father's side, but currently lives with her father, Shingo. She takes care of all the housework her mother used to do, and has become quite mature for her age. She dreams of being able to live with both of her parents and live a normal life one day, but because the spirit of a god is drawn to her, she can perform transference, and has her hands full performing exorcisms.

Eris is the Goddess of Fortune and [Aqua's](https://anilist.co/character/89362) junior. Eris is a very kind and gentle girl who treats others with kindness and respect. She is also very caring and she always interest her adherents. She has a very cheerful attitude but at times can act a bit childish. She is insecure about her breast size and uses breast pads to compensate. Aqua often embarrasses her with this knowledge, as Eris wants as few people as possible to notice her lack in bust. She is also kind-hearted and gentle, and therefore, her scent is very fragrant, according to her peers and Aegis.

An employee at Maneo's convenience store who is talented with the guitar. While initially chosen to become Miss Monochrome's guitarist, she ends up making her solo debut as an international superstar.

Representative of the Calligraphy Club, Himi is a very small second-year, and has the appearance of a young child. She is extremely innocent, positive, and always has a smile on her face.

Akkun's girlfriend. She has short dark hair. She is oblivious to his actions, thinking they are cute.

Kamikishiro Naoko is a third year student at Shinyo Academy, and going out with both Kimura Akio and Tanaka Shiro. Though known to be a kind, happy-go-lucky girl, she often sings Life is Brief. By chance, she finds Echoes collapsed in the street, and is compelled to help him. Despite his inability to communicate effectively via speech, Kamikishiro finds that she shares a telepathic link with him, and learns of Manticore. It is suggested that Kamikishiro saved humanity through the compassion she showed Echoes.
