Tatsumi is a swordsman from a small village. He set out to the capital with two of his companions in hope of raising money for the village. He got separated from his friends and reaches the capital. Tatsumi was not aware of the type of place the capital really was. After a series of events centered around his naivety of the true nature of the capital he found himself being saved be Night Raid (Assassination Group) and later join them to rid the capital of its corrupt inhabitants.

Twelve is one of two members of a terrorist group known as Sphinx, working with Nine as his primary partner. He and [Nine](https://anilist.co/character/88094/Nine) grew up together in an institution for children known as the Settlement, and engaged in terrorist activities, with unknown motives.

On the outside, he's a typical jokester: light-humored and energetic, enjoying messing around in other people's business. However, he is fully capable and willing to adopt ruthless and violent methods if the situation calls for it. This contradictory set of personality traits are the result of the psychological damage sustained during his stay at the aforementioned children's institution. Nonetheless, he is a loyal and dependable friend, has a genius mind and a keen sense of social justice. He also has a compassionate side, as evidenced by his interactions with [Lisa Mishima](https://anilist.co/character/88095/Lisa-Mishima).

Glenn is lazy, and constantly bored by everything, with his primary focus being sleeping. He becomes the substitute teacher in Sistine's class, after the retirement of her favorite teacher. While he may seem incompetent, he is actually very skilled in magic, but not in the traditional sense. Glenn used to be as passionate about magic as Sistine, but became disillusioned by it due to Sara Silvers' death and his past as the infamous military assassin known as "The Fool." He developed his own type of magic, called "The Fool's World" which negates the activation of all magic within a certain radius, including his own. However, this does not nullify spells that have already been cast. While nullifying the enemies' magic he then beats them using superior hand-to-hand combat skills. He cannot use combat magic coherently due to it being far away from his area of expertise, but he has an in-depth understanding of the concept of all types of magic, which makes him a good instructor.

Hermes is a talking motorrad who travels with [Kino](https://anilist.co/character/87/Kino) to various countries and lands.

Hermes was found broken in an alley by the original [Kino](https://anilist.co/character/3872/Kino) during his stay in the Land of Adults. The original Kino and the then eleven-year-old child fixed him, although at the time Hermes could not talk to them. The original Kino decided to give him the name Hermes, after their previous motorrad.

~!After the original Kino is killed, [Kino](https://anilist.co/character/87/Kino) uses Hermes to escape the Land of Adults. They keep riding until they collapse into a field filled with flowers. Hermes calls them Kino, believing that to be their name, and they decide to accept the new name to honour their saviour's death.!~

Hermes is often pessimistically realist, unbiased, and usually comes across as the comic relief character. He has a tendency to complain, which sometimes annoys Kino. Despite this, he is a very reliable companion both mentally and physically, as he is the only person who Kino can speak with about their innermost thoughts. He is naive and innocent in many ways, often believing things that are only meant as a joke. He also has a habit of trying to state famous quotes, but usually forgets or changes them, prompting Kino to correct him. Although Hermes can be interpreted as a caring companion towards Kino, Hermes however does not care whoever his rider is. His sole purpose is to provide speed while a rider provides him with a direction and balance. If Kino were to be killed, he would have to wait for an extended period of time before another traveler utilizes him as a mode of transportation. Kino is well aware of Hermes's purpose as a motorrad and fiercely protects him from anybody attempting to steal or damage him, as well as themself in order for Hermes to continue having a rider.

Hermes is also extremely intelligent in literal data. He can assess physical situations to an extremely complex degree but is annoyingly vague in expressing it. In the anime, he uses his knowledge to assess a mythical flying machine that was indeed able to fly provided with sufficient thrust.

In [Gakuen Kino](https://anilist.co/manga/41263/Gakuen-Kino/), Hermes is a cell phone strap. He is described as two canvas strips connected by a brass buckle with a Brough Superior SS100 engraved upon it. His personality has not changed.

Casshan began his life as Tetsuya Azuma, the son of Kotaro and Midori Azuma. The former of his two parents was a scientist who turned Tetsuya into Casshan after Kotaro successfully revived Tetsuya's dog Lucky into a robot dog named Friender when Tetsuya volunteered to be turned into a neo human, despite the objection of his mother and father. Tetsuya volunteered to become Casshan due to another one of Kotaro's creations, Black King activated on his own and set out to conquer the world. In the 1993/1995 OVA remake, Kotaro and Midori are killed by Black King.

A tachi who has the name of a swordsmith from Heian era, Gojou Kuninaga inscribed on him. Dressed in white clothes that resembles a crane, he lightly jests about how it will be stained red during battle. It shows that despite his witty and whimsical behaviour, he has never forgotten about how to fight in war.

The Student Council President of Shikou Gakuen.  His real surname in the devil world is Arlond. He is considered the "Prince" of the school and most of female students adore him. He tends to spend his time in the Student Council room, which is known as the "Third Library." Outside of school, Rem lives in a mansion with several maids and butlers to attend to him.

Rem has a hard-working and cool personality. His song "My Name is Rem Arlond" claims he has an icy heart, but he seems to care about Ritsuka Tachibana. He is shown to be quite dense when it comes to his own feelings, much to the rest of the student council's aggravation. He has a protective side to him as well, willing to put himself in harm's way to save Ritsuka.

A mysterious genius who has a friendly relationship with Hiraga.  He works within the information department of the Vatican Church, and assists Hiraga with collecting information and procuring equipment.

In the end, the thug decided to leave without the necklace after Asta keeps charging at him. Since then, Yuno stopped crying and decides to take Asta's dream to be the Wizard King as his own as well.

Jun Misugi is easily one of Japan’s best players. Unfortunately, his failing heart condition forces him to play for only a short time almost every game. During Japan's match against Argentina, Japan's coach silently thought to himself that Jun would have been Japan's top player (even better than Tsubasa) if it wasn't for his current heart injury; indeed, Jun scored Japan's final goal in that match. He completely recovered in the World Youth Series though. Jun is strong-willed and dedicated besides being kind and clever. Jun can read the opposing team’s formation and tactics even when he is not playing on the field; not to mention his ability on how to control his opponent’s movements.
