Saitama is the main protagonist of One Punch Man, and the most powerful hero alive. Having apparently trained himself to superhuman condition, Saitama faces an existential crisis as he is now too powerful to gain any thrill from his heroic deeds.  He is registered with the Heroes Association as a B-Class Superhero and is tasked to defend Z-City against Mysterious Beings. 

For a superhero, Saitama is rather laid-back. Because even the mightiest foes pose no challenge to him, he doesn't take his hero work very seriously. In spite of this, he is constantly searching for an opponent that can challenge him, since his superhero work is beginning to bore him because it's too easy. The combination of his attitude, unstoppable strength, and distinctively simple and 'unimpressive' appearance often cause his battles to become anticlimactic. Saitama will usually allow his opponents to rant about their motives and power up into their strongest forms before suddenly and nonchalantly obliterating them with one punch.

Middle blocker of the Aoba Josai High School volleyball club. He was Kageyama's teammate back in junior high school. Kindaichi was one of the players who hated Kageyama's selfish plays and refused to understand him.

Suwa is Naho and Kakeru's classmate and friend. He is very energetic and outgoing and he loves to hang out with his friends. He likes Naho but knows she likes Kakeru, so he supports them both. Suwa will become a very important person to her in her future, but 16-year-old Naho doesnt know yet. 

The classical literature teacher, and the adviser of the anime research club. He is a geek for quality video equipment, and he became the adviser for the club primarily in order to use the club room's legacy equipment. His sometimes irresponsible personality often winds up summoning trouble.

Shorter is the "boss" of Chinatown, a loyal friend to Ash, and a criminal with a heart of gold. Like Ash, Shorter is an unusual "thug" with a deep sense of honor, and a drive to always do the right thing. He'll go to any lengths to protect his loved ones... even when the interests of those closest to him come into irreconcilable conflict.

Shorter is clever, resourceful, and as tough as steel. He's equally skilled at brawling, shooting, and sneaking around like a shadowy thief. Shorter can disguise himself as a completely different person, and fool even Eiji into thinking that he is a dotty old Chinese man.

Shorter has an irrepressible sense of humor and can wear a lopsided, devilish grin even during the grimmest of circumstances. Like Ash, he is a charismatic leader who can easily unite the other kids on the street under his rule.

At the beginning of the series, Shorter has a mohawk hairdo. But by volume two he has shaved off all of his hair and is completely bald. Shorter's trademark fashion statement is his ever-present sunglasses. He even wears them while sneaking around a cornfield in the middle of the night! In an interview, Akimi Yoshida said that Shorter's character design was inspired by Sanburaza Nakano.

Benimaru is one of the third group of subordinate Monsters to be named by Rimuru Tempest. Originally an Ogre, he was uncertain of his servitude and intended for it to be temporary, but after being named, he evolved into a Kijin, immediately becoming Rimuru's most powerful subordinate for a time, and decided to serve him permanently. He lives in the Capital city of the Jura Tempest Federation: Rimuru City. Soon after, and became Commander-in-Chief, giving him direct command over Tempest's military forces. Upon Rimuru's ascension to a True Demon Lord, Benimaru evolved into a Fair Oni and reached the strength of a Disaster-Class Monster.

Miyuki is a handsome young man with blond hair and blue eyes. Due to his constant sleep deprivation and nearsightedness, his eyes appear to glare. He usually wears the regular Shuchi'in Academy black male uniform adorned with the Aiguilette, the golden chain-like accessory around his neck. The Aiguilette symbolizes his authority as student council president.

Shirogane is a diligent student who, despite his underprivileged background, climbed his way to the top of his class through hard work and determination. Shirogane holds himself in high regard, consistently working to maintain his perfect image. He is textbook workaholic, enjoying his part-time job and often putting his own health at risk for the sake of his work. Due to his poor background, Shirogane values money greatly and goes to great lengths to not be wasteful, and generally dislikes expensive gifts.

~!Miyuki's mother left his family when he was a child. Miyuki's father's factory was shut down and currently has no stable employment. They live in an apartment that costs ￥50,000 (Approx $450) a month. Due to this grisly past, he has been led to a lifestyle of part time jobs and hard work. He passed the Level 2 Kanji Kentei exam and has passed Grade Pre 1 on Eiken. He has also got second place on the National mock exam.!~

~!Miyuki transferred into Shuchi'in Academy during his first year of high school on a scholarship. His first week was a disappointment in that a great majority of his peers were condescending to him because of transferring in. Miyuki was being recruited to serve as the new student council general affairs officer by the Previous Student Council President and helped clean up a swamp. There, he saw Kaguya Shinomiya saving a girl from drowning. It was at that moment where he was truly charmed by Kaguya. At the advice of fellow student council member Momo Ryuju, he adopted the confident genius personality he is shown to have at the story's beginning in order to attract her.!~

Even though he is obviously in love with Kaguya Shinomiya, her wealth and talents greatly intimidates him, leaving him utterly terrified at the idea of confessing to her. He fears that all of his actions will lead Kaguya to look down him, causing him to overthink in many situations. Shirogane has never had a girlfriend and thus is actually quite clueless when it comes to romance, though his dignified demeanor leaves most of the students to think otherwise. Although he excels at studying, Shirogane has proven to be painfully talentless in a variety of other activities, such as sports, singing, dancing and more.

Despite this, Shirogane is unwaveringly kind and virtuous, never putting any of his goals above the well-being of others. He is extremely supportive and generous, willing to help any students with their problems, and will put aside his quest to get Kaguya to confess if it even has a chance of hurting someone else.

Taiju is an outgoing, friendly, and kind person. He's enthusiastic about performing even small tasks and a diligent worker. He is very determined when something is important to him. He tends to yell loudly and is enthusiastic regardless of the task so long as he proves useful. He is persistent and determined. Despite being emotional and expressive, he has great control of his temper, never losing his cool or acting impulsively.

Taiju possesses an extremely sturdy body, something his friend Senku vouches him for. He is the first human to be able to withstand a kick from Tsukasa without losing consciousness. He also possesses immense stamina, able to cross 80 kilometers in 5 hours.

Rider of "Red" is the Rider-class Servant of Cabik Pentel of the Red Faction in the Great Holy Grail War of Fate/Apocrypha. Shirou Kotomine assumes command over him before he even meets his Master, and through his machinations he later officially becomes Rider's Master.

A second year student at Shiketsu High. His Quirk, "Meatball," allows him to roll all living flesh up into meatballs, as well as manipulate his own flesh to his liking. He can remotely control his own flesh after detaching it.

The ox of the Zodiac, Haru has something of a Yin and Yang personality related to the Ox's personality.
He is usually calm, placid, and otherwise an all-around nice guy, but can be goaded into "stampeding", where he's edgy and mean and slightly oversexed. White Haru is conscious during his "black" transformation, but is unable to do anything about it. He just either apologizes or doesn't care. Additionally, Haru has a rather bad sense of direction; he had become lost for three days in another town after trying to find Kyo so he could challenge him. He likes to make fun of Kyo passively and wants to fight with him on a regular basis. He is very protective and caring, especially towards Yuki, Kisa, and Rin, and is constantly looking out for these characters.

Asselin is a self proclaimed "Servant of the noble devil king Satan," who, in reality, is nothing more than a chef. He's generally very arrogant and throws around claims such as being from hell and having family living in Transylvania. Though having won many awards, he got fired because his "demonic" behavior scared away customers and annoyed the other chefs. Kamiya caught him alone in the rain after getting fired and brought him to his cafe. From there, Kamiya was able to look past his odd behaviors (to an extent), and he hired him. The toy on his shoulder is Satan himself. He can't go anywhere without it and can't stand anyone else touching it (his reasoning being they're not worthy of its power). He even goes as far as to handmake outfits for it to match his own. 

Though Asselin acts very arrogant and pompous he's actually rather innocent and naive. He uses his satanic persona to cover up being shy and awkward. He never had friends before joining 315 Production and acts especially nervous around people around his own age. But because of his lonely past, he's very grateful for his friends.
