Pheles is the Chairman of True Cross Academy and also an Exorcist. After Fujimoto's death Pheles was ordered to kill Rin, however he accepted Rin's proposal in becoming an Exorcist and entered him into True Cross Academy. It has been heavily implied that he is the son of Satan along with his brother, the Earth King, Amaimon. He possesses the unique and peculiar ability of transforming into a small dog after counting down from three in German. How powerful he is has not been shown but he has mentioned that he is an honorary knight, the position two ranks below Paladin. He has been shown responsible for allowing several higher class demons onto campus. His name is an obvious pun on the word Mephistopheles, which is name for the another infamous devil, similar to his father Satan.

Uryuu Ishida&#039;s father. He also knows the way of the Quincy and was one of the most powerful but he finds it a waste of time. 

Saya's father and the priest at the shrine where he and Saya reside. While Saya is out fighting the Furukimono, he worries about her, though he is not inclined to show it. He cares deeply for Saya and helps with her training, often commenting on her clumsiness.   ~! Tadayoshi is actually a hybrid between a furukimono and human due to the mating between the two species. When he fights Saya at the finale, Saya kills him when she realizes that an over-excessive consumption of her blood has driven him berserk. In his final moments, he confesses that his paternal feelings for her were genuine and he cherished their time together. The story's main antagonist. Also known as "the Earl of Millennium". He tricks people with dead relatives and friends into creating Demons (Akuma). He is a sorcerer from long ago, and he plans to lead the world to its destruction. Some time in the past he formed an alliance with the Noah Clan, who call him "Duke Millennium"(Except Road who calls him Millenie). Hoshino says she based the Earl of Millennium off a legendary alchemist/preacher (most likely the Count of St Germain or Nicolas Flamel, though in many ways he also reminiscent of Dorian Gray, possibly referenced in "Dorian Grey man" and thus "D.Gray-Man", as adapted in the film The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) whose tale even claims he still may be alive somewhere.  In appearance, the Earl resembles a grotesque caricature of a Victorian gentleman -- a rotund figure in cape and top hat, with an enormous grin that remains fixed even when he is speaking and even eating, and his eyes permanently hidden behind a pair of pince-nez spectacles. In the manga, almost every one of his lines of dialog ends with a heart.In the anime, he invariably uses polite Japanese. Throughout the story, he displays two different personalities. The first is his normal cheerful, friendly, and happy attitude, almost like a friendly old uncle. With the Noah, he's a member of the family, and is particularly playful and affectionate towards Road. His other personality is one of sheer, sadistic malice, capable of happily playing with people's lives.  He wears a different hat in each encounter, each with a different decoration. In a gag comic in Volume 2 of the manga, he is shown taking off his hat, and having another set of ears. His main form of combat involves his umbrella Relo. He has also shown the ability to create massive explosions of dark energy. The Earl is also able to summon a large black sword that is the opposite of Allen's Crown Clown sword.

The leader of the Earth Brave Warriors. He can combine with the Earth Liner and Earth Fighter to form Da-Garn X, then combine with Ga-Orn to form Great Da-Garn GX.

As the leader of the Earth's guardians, Da-Garn has a courageous and valiant personality. He considers Seiji Takasugi as his commander and follows all of his commands. Da-Garn's alternate mode is a police car. He is quite agile and also has temporary flight capabilities. Within the star emblem on the left side of his chest is a dedicated compartment for Seiji Takasugi that he could stay in during combat.

Kogoro is a private investigator, but he prefers to laze around his office all day unless his client is a beautiful woman. Kogoro attended Teitan High School, the same high school as his daughter [Ran Mouri](https://anilist.co/character/1748/Ran-Mouri) and [Shinichi Kudo](https://anilist.co/character/1742/Conan-Edogawa) , along with [Eri Kisaki](https://anilist.co/character/1744/Eri-Kisaki) _(his future wife)_, [Yukiko Fujimine](https://anilist.co/character/20372/Yukiko-Kudo), and through kindergarten to middle school attended the same schools as the actress Ruri Ujo and Eri. He then graduated from Beika University, where he was the ace of the judo team, though he was highly vulnerable to stage fright.

Some time after graduating, Kogoro became a police officer, working in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Division One with [Inspector Megure](https://anilist.co/character/4253/Juzo-Megure), but while an excellent marksman he was not a particularly good investigator. According to [Ninzaburo Shiratori](https://anilist.co/character/9180/Ninzaburo-Shiratori) in [Movie 2](https://anilist.co/anime/780/Meitantei-Conan-Juuyonbanme-no-Target/), however, the duo were famous for the way they apprehended criminals. He also worked for some time under Inspector Yuminaga in the arson division. While Movie 2 strongly suggests that Kogoro left the police force because of the incident where he gave his wife, Eri Kisaki, a bullet graze on the leg to save her from a hostage situation, his reasons for leaving the force have not been confirmed in the manga. Around the time Kogoro left the police force, Eri also moved out, though they have never officially divorced despite ten years having passed. Their daughter, Ran, keeps trying to get them back together, but she has yet to succeed. Despite constantly feigning disinterest in her, Kogoro still has feelings for Eri. He even asked her to move back in with him at one point, but at the time she pretended not to hear him because she was not "ready" yet, though she still has feelings for him as well. These are expressed mainly through jealousy when Kogoro's attention is caught by other attractive women in the vicinity, which occurs on a regular basis. 

After Shinichi was forced to adopt the identity of Conan Edogawa, [Hiroshi Agasa](https://anilist.co/character/4162/Hiroshi-Agasa) concluded that Shinichi couldn't openly continue investigating the Black Organization without attracting undue attention. To maintain his cover, Agasa suggested Shinichi to move in with Kogoro and use him as a front. During a case Kogoro took soon after, he reached the wrong conclusion, and Conan knocked him out with an ashtray before he could accuse an innocent person. Kogoro conveniently falls unconscious in a reclining pose, and Conan uses his Voice Changer to imitate Kogoro's voice, presenting his conclusions and the identity of the true murderer. After a few more cases occur in this fashion _(though Conan uses his Stun-Gun Wristwatch instead of an ashtray)_, Kogoro receives the title "Sleeping Kogoro" and a public reputation as a master detective. In the few instances where Kogoro remains awake for some reason, Conan still does the main detective work and uses Kogoro as his official mouth-piece by drawing Kogoro's attentions to important clues he has uncovered.

Iskandar, or how he refers to himself, the King of Conquerors is a noble and courageous man, who prefers to conquer his enemies by winning without killing and controlling without humiliating. He is known as a marvelous ruler who once almost conquered the whole known world. He is not pragmatic, but is a person who lets history run its course and acts according to his impulses. While he is wild and somewhat inconsiderate to others, his greed ultimately resulted in the happiness of the people he ruled over.  In the new era, Rider is mostly amazed by ordinary modern things, and usually spends his free time exploring modern war vehicles and machinery.!~

While little is known about Gauron at the present, he is Sousuke&rsquo;s strongest and most formidable enemy throughout the TV series. He&rsquo;s a terrorist of the highest caliber sponsored by a mysterious organization, but little is known about Gauron&rsquo;s benefactors other than the fact that they appear to be more formidable and possess greater resources than even the notorious Soviet KGB. Believed to be Japanese, or at least of Asian ethnicity, Gauron and Sousuke have a long and bloodstained history together. He was once a captain in MITHRIL although he left before all the major characters entered. Sousuke left a big scar on Gauron&rsquo;s forehead when he and then Soviet Spetsnaz commander Major Kalinin ambushed Gauron in a sniper attack back in Sousuke&rsquo;s Afghan guerrilla days. This is but one of many battle scars Sousuke inflicts upon this vicious man slayer over the course of the series.

Batou is nominally the second-in-command of Section 9.  Little is known about the strange, large foreigner who has been with Motoko Kusanagi for years.  He was once American and served in the Special Forces in South America.  His amount of cyborg-ization is variable according to the storyline, from his limbs only up to most of his body, second only to the Major herself.  Despite the availability of superior eyes, he grew superstitious about his old-style eye replacements, popular with many high-level military operatives.  He also retains some residual body-image issues, causing him to continually purchase workout equipment despite the obvious anachronism.  

Kyo is a tough-looking member of the Yakuza, but he is very close with Kumiko. When he was younger, and Kumiko was a little girl, he taught her how to fight and defend herself when she was being bullied in school and teased because of her Yakuza connections. (Source: Wikipedia)

Gadved had been a good friend of Van and Helena, as both Helena and Gadved worked researching the Original Seven armors. On the tragic wedding day when Van and Helena was critically injured by the Claw Man, a dying Helena asked Gadved to permantly make Van the armor Dann's pilot, thereby making him a member of the Original Seven.

Takamura is very hearty, rude and often behaves vulgarly. He is a loud arrogant boaster who tends to refer to himself as Ore-sama (a Japanese name suffix intended for people of great importance) and he rarely ever shows a shred of consideration towards other fighters after a loss.  Takamura was discovered on the streets by Coach Kamogawa Genji, and his speed, power, and technique are all high-level to the point that he is capable of handling both In Fighters and Out Boxers without too much trouble. Unlike most characters in Hajime no Ippo, he has no special finishing blow, but every punch he has possesses killer destructive power. With the wild power to always force out any situation he claims will happen, he is a man who does everything he says he will.  As the one who got Ippo, Aoki and Kimura into boxing, he is well respected at the Kamogawa Gym. Even though he constantly looks down on and ridicules their achievements, his unrivalled strength and the few moments his true kindness leaks out prevent them from losing their respect for him. Takamura loves to pick on his fellow gym mates, with Aoki usually the first on his list. Although he tends to get more serious when hearing about or training for his next match, he still finds the time to play pranks on everyone and goof around.  The character for Taka (鷹) in his name means hawk, and as a result he is sometimes nicknamed The Japanese Hawk by announcers and spectators (most notably during his matches against Brian Hawk and David Eagle). He lives alone at the Ohta Inn apartment complex, and his room is littered with junk, old food, pornography, and even his boxing belts. His pompadour hairstyle is his trademark. 

Galea Police Investigation Inspector. A crime scene investigator who is constantly annoyed with the Special Service Agency, he usually scolds and antagonizes Daisuke when he arrives on the scene. He does, however, help Daisuke on various occasions, and is a valuable ally in many of the Special Services cases.

Sven, a Norwegian pilot, was the original second-in-command. He piloted the Blue Lion and wore a black uniform at the very beginning of the series. ~!In Episode 6, he was badly injured during an attack by Haggar, and was sent away to the planet Ebb to be healed.!~ ~!He was killed in the Japanese version, with his younger brother appearing later in the series.!~ ~!Ebb was attacked and raided by Lotor&#039;s Forces and Sven was captured. The prison ship on which he was transferred accidentally crashed on Planet Doom where Sven went into hiding becoming a hermit within the caves. He eventually encountered Allura&#039;s cousin from the Planet Pollux, Princess Romelle, who had been sent to the slave mines after she rejected Lotor&#039;s advances. During Sven&#039;s time on Planet Doom he witnessed Zarkon and Lotor&#039;s cruelty to their slaves, which drove him to the point of madness. He recovered thanks to Romelle&#039;s emotional support and helped her escape Doom. Sven was later reassigned to the Planet Pollux with Romelle and her brother Prince Bandor. Sven eventually fell in love with Romelle, though he was reluctant to pursue his feelings because he felt he was unworthy of her.!~

As The Gatchaman, Ken is the showman--the super spy, martial artist and ninja. He's quick and charismatic, and don't let those big blue eyes fool you--he's a hell-raiser who constantly takes foolish risks. He is amazingly inept at romance, either too heavy-handed or totally ignorant of the girl's feelings. He might do this because he feels a romantic relationship would interfere with his duty... or maybe he's just dense. Ken seems happiest when he's up in the air, flying alone in his little "Cessna" or testing some new flying machine. He spends most of his social time at the Snack Jun, running up a tab he never gets around to paying.  Ken's goals are noble enough--to restore peace to the world--though for a short time, he fights to avenge his father's death. The burden of leadership lies heavy on his shoulders, especially during the final escalation of events at the end of the series.  Cover Occupation: Test pilot. Also works part time delivering airmail to remote locations and doing other odd jobs which require the use of a small plane. Lives in a small shack beside a private airstrip, on a few acres of land willed to him by his father.

Ren and Kazuma&#039;s strict father. Though he is responsible for banishing Kazuma from the Kannagi family, he only wanted his son to find his own path. Garuru is an S-rank sniper, the leader of the Garuru Platoon and Giroro's older brother. He's an indigo Keronian frog with a black helmet, has a red triangle pointing downward with a line in the downword middle for his personal symbol and also wears a belt that, unlike Giroro, is kept for power instead of to remember deceased friends during a Keron war. When he heard that the Keroro Platoon had no progress in their mission and that Giroro was not the leader, the Garuru Platoon went to Pekopon to take care of the mission themselves. Garuru defeated his brother in a one-on-one gun match, but was later defeated in a rematch. Thanks to the Keroro Platoon's friendship and united power, the Garuru Platoon was defeated. It was however hinted at strongly that Garuru's true mission was merely to test the abilities of the Keroro Platoon. Garuru and his platoon appear again in episode 130, where he faces a clone of Giroro and in 154 he shows up to aid the Keroro Platoon in defeating ZZZ. It turns out Garuru is the only one who can pronounce this new menace's name without biting his tongue. In the manga he appears in volume 14, where he shocks Giroro by revealing he's there for a short holiday. He brings a gift to Giroro, which grows into a large, flying sweet potato and the brothers have to team up to bring it down, a ploy by their father to teach them a lesson. In the end Powered Natsumi shows up, helping Garuru defeat the potato with her beam sabres as it is immune to guns and such ballistic weapons and Garuru appears impressed by the girl. During said fight with the potato there is a flashback from Giroro and Keroro's childhoood where we see a younger, presumably teenage Garuru defending his younger brother and friend against two bullies intending to take over their secret base/playground. Another interesting detail is that the younger Garuru wears the same kind of belt as present day Giroro, with a rectangular buckle. Keigo Kurusu is a police officer, so it follows with reason that his diary relates to his work. The "Investigation" diary gives Keigo information of future crimes and activities committed anywhere within the prefecture he is assigned to. Whether or not this means his diary can record events that will happen simultaneously in different locations is still up in the air. Its major flaw is a location issue; his diary is rendered useless at predicting anywhere outside his patrolling district.  

 ~!Calm, cool and collected, Keiga at first does not appear to care about winning the game. His goal is only to stop the murders being caused by it. He makes an effort to recruit some of the other diary holders into his cause, including First and Second. As the series progresses however, MurMur gives him information of his sons imminent death before he should have known to make him more active in the game. He was chosen by Deus to balance out the criminals and maniacs that are also taking part in the game.!~    

He is named after Mercury — roman god of merchants and travelers.
