First seen as a traveler who was taken in by Shuurei when she saw him passed out, due to a summer heat wave, near the entrance of her house. She invited him into her house to eat. When Seiran returned home, Ensei recognized him and called him &quot;The Little Whirlwind&quot;. He seems to be an old acquaintance of Seiran, but Seiran doesn&#039;t seem to like his presence even though they seem to have a friendly relationship. They were most likely old acquaintances during Seiran&#039;s time in Brown Province. Seiran assigned him to be Shuurei&#039;s temporary bodyguard while he&#039;s off fighting bandits. Also assigned to be the temporary administrator for the Department of Treasury and Taxation by Kijin. Seiren finds out he&#039;s been defending against thieves from Brown Province every night. Claude "Torch" Weaver s a heavyset, middle-aged man with blonde hair and glasses and always sports a grin with a look of a stereotypical everyman. As his nickname would suggest, he is a pyromaniac who uses a lighter shaped-and-sized flamethrower as his weapon of choice, although for heavy-duty jobs, he will also use a full-sized flamethrower.   In spite of his profession and the fact he burnt his own wife to death (which he claims took five minutes), Claude claims to be religious (which religion is unknown) and is teetotal. He is one of the few characters in the series that does not use foul language, preferring to speak with euphemisms (such as "darn" or "shucks") instead. He is blown up by Revy while hunting for Greenback Jane.

Wolx Hound is an Edel Raid hunter. He wears a large black coat, has a large scar covering a large portion of his face, and prizes his motorcycle he calls the "Wolx Impulse EV (Wiev)". He shows only a cold demeanor to all except to his Edel Raid, Tilel, but only when they're alone. To others, he claims Edel Raids are just "tools" to be used.   (Source: Wikipedia)

Isao Kondo is the Commander of the Shinsengumi. When not working, he is the stalker of [Tae Shimura](https://anilist.co/character/2944), earning him the nickname Gorilla-stalker. His superior is [Katakuriko Matsudaira](https://anilist.co/character/5972), a high-ranking government officer under direct control of the Bakufu. Even though the Shinsengumi are loyal to Kondo, he often has to use Vice Commander [Toshiro Hijikata](https://anilist.co/character/2650) to settle them down (with harsh words or use of violence) before conducting a speech. Kondo is good friends with Toshiro and [Sougo Okita](https://anilist.co/character/2282), and if one of them ever strayed, then the other two would punch him back to where he belongs, as Kondo once told Sougo. Sougo also often remarks that Kondo's nice-guy attitude is also his weakness as he never notices negative points about other people. In the Mutiny arc, he was described by [Kamotaro Ito](https://anilist.co/character/11458) as honest, pure and unsullied. In the same arc, Toshiro described him as the soul of the Shinsengumi, and the rest of them being the sword that protects him. Toshiro also said that everybody joined the Shinsengumi so that they could be with Kondo, and that as long as he was there, the Shinsengumi would not be finished.

When Kondo once asked Tae Shimura whether she would still love her boyfriend if he had a hairy butt. She became the target of his stalking when she replied that she would love her boyfriend just as much, hairy butt and all. Being a stalker of Tae, Kondo is often seen getting beat up or threatened by her, as she highly disapproves of his stalking and affection towards her. In the Yagyuu arc, Kondo had his mind set on being [Shinpachi Shimura](https://anilist.co/character/673)'s brother-in-law, even going as far as saying Shinpachi was the only one he could entrust the Shinsengumi to, much to Shinpachi's annoyance, answering that he doesn't give a damn about the Shinsengumi.

During his childhood, Kondo was a member of a dojo in Bushuu. There, he would soon meet Sougo and Toshiro, recruiting them both into his dojo. Kondo would later on take all the members with him and move from Bushuu to Edo in search for success, becoming what is now the Shinsengumi. Some characters in the series often call him "gorilla" due to his hirsute nature and although he is angered with this nickname, he sometimes uses the same word to identify himself. Kondo is loosely based on the historical Kondo Isami, famed for his role as commander of the Shinsengumi during the Bakumatsu period.

A portly man with a head of curly blond hair who holds a high position within the A-LAWS. He overlooks the A-LAWS' operation against Kataron, and is highly interested in Barrack's and Louise's encounter with Gundams Exia and Seravee, stating that 'more equipment' is required.

Crocodine is a massive anthropomorphic crocodile who used to be the general of the Hundred Beasts Army. After having been defeated by Dai and Pop&#039;s teamwork, he was inspired by Pop&#039;s courage and later joins the party. He has many beasts still under his control, even despite Hadlar&#039;s influence throughout all the world and has a powerful weapon called the &quot;Void Axe&quot;, which allows him to cast Bagi, one of the two wind spells available. He later acquires an even more powerful axe from the legendary swordsmith Lon Berk when the Void Axe is destroyed in the first fight with Vearn.
