
Otome is a student of Starlight Academy. She is a Pop type idol, and her favorite brand is Happy Rainbow. Through the events since her debut, she is known as the one who pushed herself the most putting Ichigo Hoshimiya and Mizuki Kanzaki beside, created her own idol unit Powapowa-Puririn and created two versions of its debut song, and eventually succeeded Mizuki as the Starlight Queen.

Otome has a bubbly personality. She adores cuteness and often adds "Love You" or simply "Love" to almost every sentence. She speaks in first-person and generally uses the honorific "-tan" (e.g.: Ran-tan, Sakura-tan) when referring to her friends. Like Ichigo, she is very carefree and has a immense love for cute things, such as kittens and rainbows and is air headed. Otome is a very hard worker, and she will train for at least a year in advance. In episode 11, it was thought that she has a crush on Suzukawa, but it was his necklace she fell in love with. Even though Otome is somewhat clumsy like Ichigo, she fears that she will make a mistake during the real thing. Otome always performs with all her heart.

They're weak, brittle - not suited for battle - and their clumsiness makes them difficult to maintain any roles, even though they've always wanted to be useful. Phos' initial job was to make a natural history encyclopedia which they progressed very little on. Phos is a young, overconfident, clumsy, and naive gem, who is the only one capable of getting away with talking back to [Kongou](https://anilist.co/character/123394/Kongou). Many gems describe them as lazy and useless due to their fragility and incompetence, although Phos does display a drive to help Sensei and the others, often held back by their low hardness. There is an underlying way of how Phos acts and speaks about themselves that hints at them taking the “useless” and “lazy” comments to heart, and impacting their self-esteem. These facts indicate that Phos may have something of an inferiority complex. They settle with what they can do and constantly state that they will try better next time. Phos displays a change of personality over the course of the series, mainly due to maturing, trauma, and outside influences. This is mainly due to the fact that the gems are not equipped to deal with trauma.

Phosphophyllite wears a standard winter uniform and black shoes without socks, occasionally accompanied by long black gloves. Phos has mint-green features known by the gems and the Admirabilis as the Lunarians' favorite color. Nao is a candidate for dragon pilot at Gifu Air Base , who has a strong fighting instinct and always provoke a fight to anyone around. Her mother was also a dragon pilot. Although Nao was the prime candidate for dragon pilot until Hisone showed up, dragons didn't accept her. Being jealous of Hisone who was chosen by Masotan, Nao keeps teasing her. But she actually is such a hard worker.

Misaki is a member of Hello, Happy World!. Under the "guise" of the mascot character Michelle, she is the DJ and composer of the band; as Misaki, she is the composer and Michelle's "agent". Misaki is a first-year student at Hanasakigawa Girls' High School.

She began wearing the bear costume at her part-time job when she was roped into joining the band by her classmate Kokoro. Despite Misaki telling her bandmates multiple times that she and Michelle are the same person, none of them aside from Kanon believe her. Outside of the band, Misaki is friends with Rimi.

Misaki is kind, reserved and considerate, however she is also known to reply sarcastically and sometimes struggle with the other girls in her band, with the exception of Kanon, whom she considers the only other reasonable member. Naturally, she ends up becoming the "straight man" of the group, scolding or commenting on the antics of the other members in immediate response. Despite her hardworking nature, especially towards Hello, Happy World!, she tends to debase her achievements and say how anyone else could've done it instead of her. For example, whenever people praise her for being able to understand Kokoro's hums and make them into songs, she'll shrug it off with a "it's nothing special".
