Bear is an older player of the game and plays a Blademaster. He appears as cool and collected, always willing to help out newbies, giving off an experienced air. He also conducts research in the real world on Tsukasa in the attempt to try to figure out who he really is; he is in fact the first character who discovers Tsukasa's real life identity. Bear is usually seen hanging out with Mimiru and BT.    ~!In real life, Bear is a famous novelist named Ryo Sakuma. He's 47 years old and his most acclaimed work is the novel "Annwn".   He's divorced from his wife, and is constantly pestered by his son, a Wavemaster that goes by the name Teddy in The World, with demands for money.   Ryo Sakuma enjoys various hobbies, like reading books by famous authors, and going to the theatre. He smokes quite a lot, and has several dictionaries in his computer, which enable him to research anytime.   In Unison, the conversation at the bar, and certain scenes at Net Slum suggest that Bear and BT start a relationship in real life after the events in .hack//Sign. !~

Crimson Rubeus (known simply as Rubeus in the English dub) is the first member of the Black Moon Clan to appear in the 20th century. He is charged with finding a person codenamed &quot;Rabbit&quot;, who had fled into the Tokyo of the past. Besides following the orders of Prince Demand and Wiseman, he leads his own set of minions (the Ayakashi Sisters).    In the anime, he is the love interest mainly to Cooan, the youngest of them, though the majority of the sisters are in love with him; only the eldest, Petz, doesn't have feelings for him. After the Sisters have been healed, while trying to take Chibiusa, Rubeus kidnaps the Sailor Senshi and blackmails Sailor Moon into bringing the Silver Crystal in exchange for her friends. Sailor Moon comes to rescue them, and Rubeus takes her and Chibiusa (who had followed Sailor Moon in secret) aboard his spaceship. Onboard, a battle ensues for the custody of the Sailor Senshi. Chibiusa eventually finds and destroys the crystal that controls his spaceship, causing it to go haywire and catch fire. After Sailor Moon attacks Rubeus, the Sailor Senshi are freed, and they, Chibiusa, and Sailor Moon teleport away, leaving Rubeus onboard his burning ship. Rubeus is then confronted by Esmeraude, and begs her to take him back to the future. Esmeraude refuses, and leaves Rubeus in the unstable spaceship, saying he's failed too many times to be of any more use; in the end, his obsession with killing Chibiusa is his downfall. The spaceship finally explodes, and Rubeus dies.    In the manga, he kidnaps Sailor Mars, Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Jupiter but fails to capture Sailor Venus. He is extremely loyal to Prince Demand, appearing with him to taunt the captured Sailor Moon. He realizes that there is more to Wiseman than what appears and he is killed by Wiseman when he confronts him.

Ail (written Ali in the ADV release) takes on the persona of Seiijuurou Ginga (Alan Granger in the english dub) and lives with his &quot;sister&quot; in Juuban Odyssey Apartments. He develops a crush on Usagi, and constantly tries to win her over, much to Ann and Mamoru&#039;s dislikes. Ail uses his flute to summon Cardians, allowing Ann to select which one he will summon.

Pegasus is a winged white unicorn and Helios is the priest of Elysion. Pegasus and Helios are two separate characters in the manga, but in the anime they are the same. In the manga, Nehelenia curses Helios into the body of his favorite horse. Thus, Helios is forced to appear to Chibiusa in this form. He is seen riding on Pegasus, separate from the body of his favorite horse when he says good-bye to Chibiusa. Unlike his anime counterpart, Helios also lacks any sort of definitive power. He does not lend power to anyone to do attacks, nor can he physically change form himself. He can only transport himself between worlds and fight the curse put upon him. While he guards the Elysion, he does not guard the Golden Crystal directly. He is aware of the existence of it, but it is not in Pegasus's horn, but a part of Mamoru that only Mamoru can wield.  In the anime, Helios plays a major role in the fourth series of Sailor Moon, Supers. He becomes Pegasus after being captured by Nehellenia in order to search for a pure dream to live in and takes up residence inside Chibiusa's beautiful dreams. He willingly takes the form of Pegasus leaving the shell of his body behind. Pegasus becomes a friend and companion to Chibiusa. He has to keep some secrets from her at first, but as the series progresses they get to become closer than friends as they share a kiss and a hug in the anime. He protects the Golden Crystal which is on his forehead, this is eventually used by Sailor Chibi Moon rather than Mamoru at the end of the arc. Pegasus lends his power to Super Sailor Moon, for use in attacking Lemures, once he has been summoned by Super Sailor Chibi Moon.  In the manga, it is strongly implied that Helios will eventually marry Chibiusa and become her &quot;prince&quot;.

He is a commander of the independent Fleet, what remains of the armed forces of Earth. The war against humanoids left him without family and now his only motivation is to fight the mechanical men, but he receives an order from the supreme commander: to hunt a space pirate called Captain Harlock, who is said to be allied with the mechanical men.    Zero faces a difficult situation, as Harlock was the one who trained him and he only assaults the ships of the mechanical men. Determined to find the truth, Zero accepts the mission.    (wikipedia)

Tenshinhan is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball metaseries and the franchise equivalent created by Akira Toriyama. Trained by Muten-Rôshi's rival, the Crane hermit he starts out as an enemy of Son Goku, but soon makes peace and becomes an ally. He is usually accompanied by Chaozu, his training partner and best friend, whom he can communicate with telepathically.  At the time of his introduction, Tenshinhan is among the most powerful warriors in the series, matched only by Goku himself. Like most other characters, his relative strength quickly diminishes as the story progresses.  As is the case with a handful of other characters from the early chapters of Dragon Ball, Tenshinhan was inspired by a character from Journey to the West; his unique feature of having a third eye was derived from the Chinese god Erlang Shen. Greed is a greedy Homunculus, nicknamed the &quot;Ultimate Shield&quot;. He is able to rearrange the carbon in his body to make his skin as hard as diamond, thus making himself almost impossible to injure. As his name implies he is a very avaricious character, who likes living in luxury, surrounded by powerful minions and beautiful women. Despite his generally greedy nature, he’s shown to honestly care for his subordinates. He also has a habit of flipping people off in the manga.    

 __In the 2003 anime series:__  Greed is the second oldest of the Homunculi created by Dante. However, due to his avarice, Greed rebelled and was eventually captured and imprisoned in lab 5. He was imprisoned for 130 years until an explosion broke his seal. He then freed the caged chimera at Lab 5 in exchange for helping him get his revenge on the other homunculi and their master.    

 __In the manga and 2009 anime series:__  He is the third Homunculus created by Father. Greed apparently abandoned the other Homunculi over 100 years before the start of the series and claims to be around two centuries old. He first appears hiding in the Devil&#039;s Nest in Dublith, with his gang of chimeras all of whom he apparently rescued from military experimentation.      ~!After Greed is punished by Father, he later returns as Father removes his son&#039;s Philosopher&#039;s Stone core from his own body and inserts it directly into the body of Ling Yao to create a second Human-based Homunculus. This second Greed maintains all the same personality and powers as the first (his Ouroboros tattoo is even in the same spot), but appears to have none of his previous memories, not recognizing Envy, Gluttony, or the Elric Brothers. As such, he becomes a faithful servant of his Father, as the first Greed was presumed to have been initially, and refers to all actions prior to his rebirth as having been done by &quot;the other Greed&quot;.    After killing a past comrade and follower of his, memories from Greed&#039;s previous life returned, including his time in the Devil&#039;s Nest and the feelings he had for his followers. Remembering this, along with how Bradley killed most of his followers, leads Greed to betray Father once again. Government Investigative Office of Department of Security, Central Headquarters General Manager, age 27    Daisuke's older brother and the General Manager of Special Services, Shun prides himself on his rational and logical thinking. Shun's logical nature is usually in conflict with Daisuke's more impulsive personality. This causes a gap between the two brothers, despite the fact that Shun raised Daisuke after their father's death at the hand of an android. Another point of contention between them is Shun's inability to forgive his mother for leaving their family when Shun was 9 and Daisuke 3. Tsezguerra is an experienced Money Hunter and 1-Star Hunter. He is hired by Battera to beat Greed Island and also tests the people who want to enter Greed Island in order to earn the 50 Billion prize money. He and his team ally with Gon, Killua, Biscuit, Hisoka and Goreinu to take part in the dodgeball game against Razor. He and his team later engage Genthru's in a game of chase in order to buy time for Gon to train against Genthru's "Little Flower" ability and for Killua to heal his injuries.

Introducing himself as &quot;General Saku from Kouki Province,&quot; his real name is Sou but people call him Gyousou. The first time a glimspe of him was offered was when Taiki and Sanshi were sitting on the mountain watching the candidates travel up the trail. When he came to offer incense, he scared Taiki and caused him to call the ceremony to a halt. The next time they meet, Gyousou was punching the absolute shit out of Goson for causing a disturbance on Mt. Hou. Despite his manners and his attempt to calm Taiki, Gyousou always came across as violent, as a warrior should. Risai said it was his aura of ambition that frightened Taiki and that she would fear Gyousou if she were his enemy. In Risai and everyone else's opinion, Gyousou's hardness was exactly what a kingdom needed.    When Taiki was finally calmer around Gyousou, he and Risai went on a hunt for youma. They rested for a night and it was then that Gyousou asked why Taiki was afraid of him. He always wanted to know in which ways he was lacking, because he obviously felt, as others did, that he was more than qualified to be the king. He asked if Taiki's fear was due to the fact that he smelled badly of blood. Taiki told him that he was like fire: though he's drawn to it, he knows it's dangerous. Gyousou was satisfied with this explanation and assured Taiki that he would find a good leader someday.     Gyousou's main character flaw was his pride. He was willing to resign as a Sen-nin and general because he was not chosen as king. It would be good medicine, he said. He was leaving Mt. Hou with a group of travelers who wanted to hunt youma on the way down and required an escort. The fact was this hasty exit was akin to tucking his tail between his legs and running in shame. But that ego, along with his callousness, were the perfect foil for Taiki's gentle innocence. It made the pair all the more startling. When Taiki finally chosen Gyousou as king, he seemed to come down a notch in arrogance. He renamed Taiki to Kouri, which was a peak high on a mountain where the dead are believed to walk. (Renaming a kirin is a mark of affection.) He called Keiki to Tai because he was worried about Taiki's depression. He also helped arrange to prove that Taiki was not wrong and assauge the young kirin's conscience. He balanced power and compassion quite nicely. Nagare came into the picture after the Nadesico escaped from Mars; a skilled Aestivalis pilot, Nagare rescued Akito during battle as the latter was in a state of panic and unable to move. He was soon assigned to the Nadesico, bringing along Erina Won, who he had a mysterious relationship with. Nagare disparaged Akito for his devotion to the simplistic ideals of Gekiganger and the fact that he hates Japanese Anime altogether, but the two were still able to get along well enough.   ~!Nagare is revealed to be the president of Negal, who only joined the Nadesico to keep an eye on the crew and to make sure they followed his shadowy agenda.!~ 

Kentaro had a crush on Naru. Originally Keitaro's rival for Narusegawa, he eventually loses all of his money in his pursuit of her. He remained fairly tenacious for a time, but eventually gave up after getting deep into debt with the Hinata Inn. Haruka let him try to work off his debts at a very low rate of pay; from that point on, Kentaro became an occasional background character and plot device. He also tends to make jokes at the stereotype of the anime's genre, and occasionally breaks the fourth wall.

Treize is the charming, charismatic leader of Oz - and of the Specials, the elite Earth Alliance task force which serves as Oz's disguise. Raiga is a member of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist along with Zabuza and Kisame. He appears only during a filler arc. He uses pikes as lightning rods (lightning is an energy source for him) and can put them together to make an even more powerful 2 bladed weapon. He travels along with a small disabled child named Ranmaru, whom is the only person he cares for.

Makoto Hyuga is First Lieutenant at NERV and a computer technician. He is something of a nerd, reading manga while on his break time, but is a hard worker, nonetheless. He also appears to harbor a deep crush for Misato, as Lilith approaches him during his implementation in the form of Misato. 

Ryouga is Ranma Saotome's eternal rival and a friend to him, the only one he has outright stated to truly consider as such, arguably the tritagonist, and one of the most powerful fighters in the series. Ryouga's most notable characteristic is that, like his parents (and even his entire family), he has no sense of direction whatsoever. He is unable to go the right way, often sticking to the letter of any directions given to him, regardless of whether the path eventually turns. He has an inability to understand even the simplest of directions or draw any legible maps, once running the wrong way at the start of a three-legged race or getting lost in Shampoo's house for hours; looking for the exit. He cannot even follow someone pointing in the correct direction.

Yaito's NetNavi, and much like her he acts very sophisticated. He is not made to be a net battler, so he does not participate in fighting. However it is possible for him to do so when Yaito uses her rare chips to make his power up to par with the others.

Also known as 'The Sword Hunter', Chou possesses quite a collection of rare and unusual swords, including a long flexible sword he keeps hidden around his waist, and double bladed sword known as a renbatou. He is only a mediocre opponent when not using these exotic weapons (despite using a master sheathing technique). He has a very calm and cool exterior, and normally keeps one eye closed when talking, and only opens both eyes when excited in the heat of battle. He speaks with a Kansai-ben accent.  His fighting style is determined by the sword he uses, but he mainly uses the style Garyuorochi. The first is Orochi (Eight-Headed Hydra), in which Chou bounces his sword, Hakujin no Tachi (The thin blade) on the ground in waves. He uses Sakasa Kuchu Noutou (Mid-air Sheathing) on Seiku's son Iori to locate the final sword of Shakku which was placed in a temple as a godsword. It was at that time that Kenshin defeated him with that sword. Ultimately he turned out to be a far cry from a match for a well-armed Kenshin, however he told his opponents that all Juppongatana members are stronger than him. After Shishio's death, Chō pays Kenshin and his friends a visit to inform them of what happened to members of the Juppongatana after Shishio's demise, then he goes on to work under Saitou as a spy/informant.  Chou later appears in the anime when he tries to attack Amakusa Shougo but is soundly defeated. In the manga, he later appears in the Jinchuu Arc to help uncover information about Enishi. Hajime Saitou is loosely based on the real third-squad captain of the Shinsengumi. During the Meiji era, he lived as a police officer under the name of Gorou Fujita. In the Rurouni Kenshin series, he plays the role of Kenshin's old rival and enemy from the Bakumatsu. He has no compassion or mercy for his enemies and he lives by the Shinsengumi code "Aku Soku Zan (悪即斬)," literally "Slay Evil Immediately," but more poetically rendered as "Swift Death To Evil." His signature technique is the Gatotsu, a left-handed thrust and a variation of the Hirazuki technique developed by Toshizou Hijikata, the Vice Commander of the Shinsengumi. Although the Gatotsu is a fictional technique only found within the Rurouni Kenshin series, the Hirazuki is a real technique that was used by many of the Shinsengumi members.

Straight Cougar, age 21 (first appearing in Episode 2), is a laid back member of HOLY, and does not seem to think twice about breaking the rules. His philosophy on life: the faster you do one thing, the more time you have for the next thing. He is usually found carrying around a book he never seems to have time to finish. He has problems remembering names, especially Mimori Kiryu's and Kazuma's (tending to call Kazuma "Kazuya" and Mimori "Minori"). In the anime version, Cougar holds romantic feelings for Mimori. He also knew Kazuma as a child and was the originator of the Bullet moves (Shocking First Bullet and so on), that Kazuma originally used, only he calls the last bullet Rapid-Kill Final Bullet instead of Exterminating Last Bullet. He and Kazuma had a brotherly relationship. Although they often refer to each other as brothers, there is no concrete information to show that they are actually related. In the manga, he is known as Cougar Straight, and was Kazuma's mentor, which is why they both have near-identical attacks like "Shocking First Bullet".  Straight Cougar is the fastest alter user on the planet and isn't afraid to show it. Using his alter, 'Radical Good Speed', he can transform any vehicle into a fast moving object, 'shrinking the world' by doing things as fast as possible. He can also increase his speed alone without any vehicle by encasing armor to his shins and feet (Radical Good Speed Wheels Unlimited). He is one of the most powerful alter users, capable of high-speed fighting, and can even use his alter power to upgrade his armor to completely cover his body as well.  ~!He too has seen the Alter Dimension since he was a Native Alter who had been refined (due to this, his lifespan was apparently shortened, hence his philosophy on doing things fast so he will not miss out on life).  Cougar was thought to be fatally injured in a fight with Kyouji Mujo, but appears afterwards in order to rescue all of the secondary characters left in HOLY HQ. He seems to die in episode 26, when he is seen sitting on a lounge chair reading his book, thinking about what Kazuma and Ryuhou should do with their lives instead of fighting (i.e. spend time with their loved ones: Kanami and Mimori). His thoughts then begin to slow down and he lays still in a lounge chair. It is still debated if he died or if he merely fell asleep. However, in the manga, he fights with Kazuma and is fatally wounded, but is executed by Urizane's alter power for treason.!~  (Source: Wikipedia)

President of the Student Council, Touga is an arrogant and handsome young man whose desire to be powerful drives him to cruel and unscrupulous deeds. Although he says that he wishes to be noble, he has little empathy towards anyone, and his powers of manipulation are second only to Akio. He also shares his playboy attiude and has many female conquests. He is a childhood friend of Saionji, although their relationship took a turn for the worse at a point in their childhood that is the centerpiece of their respective personal journeys.

~!Toward the end of the series, however, Touga's facade of chivalry is replaced with an apparently truer concern for Utena, to the extent that he very subtly attempts to substitute his head for hers on Akio's chopping block. Arguably, this is also an example of Touga's inability to see Utena as who she really is, rather than in a stereotypical feminine role. He also seems to have moral objections to homosexuality, as he lectures Nanami when he mistakenly believes that she has admitted to being a lesbian. Despite this, he seems to have no qualms about taking a ride with Akio and manipulates his sister into dueling Utena during the Akio arc. 
The Manga portrays Touga as taking a more obvious and definite personal love for Utena. He vows to serve her when she defeats him in their second duel, and tries his best to protect her from the machinations of Ends of the World. In the anime, this does not happen until the end of the series, and Touga&#039;s concern for Utena is far more ambiguous.
In the movie Touga&#039;s significance is amplified and his bad-traits completely removed. He is not a flirtatious, over-confident playboy but a man who sees and knows Utena and loves her. He is her childhood love and a significant figure in Utena&#039;s psyche. His seeming abandonment of Utena is the reason for her wish to become a prince, but as the movie progresses, Touga is revealed to be a ghost, who died to save a young girl (Juri) while he was with Utena. There is also an apparent love triangle consisting of Utena, Juri, and Shiori, and is a major reason for the conflict between the three. Near the end of the movie Utena&#039;s repressed memory of his death is uncovered and she accepts it, allowing his spirit to vanish from Earth.!~  (Source: Wikipedia)

Zelgadis is a Chimera of human, rock golem, and blue demon, transformed by Rezo, the Red Priest. Zelgadis travels the land with Lina and company to find a way to restore his humanity.  Zelgadis is a very talented individual in magic, sword-fighting, and several other fields, but his forte is definitely his mastery of Shamanism.  He is one of the few characters who remains rather cool and serious throughout the series, and is often the only one in the group with a level head, though he tends to get pissed off when things go awry, or when the group mistreats him (like using him as an anchor due to his weight from the rock golem).
