He is a kindergarten-aged boy whose antics are the basis for the series. His affectionate name is Shin-chan. He is 5 years old and loves Chocobis and an animated superhero named "Action Kamen". He is attracted to older girls and women, despite his young age. He brazenly pursues any girl who catches his eye. He shares this trait with his father and paternal grandfather, but this often results in Mom's cruel punishment. The only girl he seems to really like is a college student named Nanako. Some of his strange activities include dressing up and mooning. In general, he is brutally honest, highly curious, and has no shame whatsoever. Ironically, there have been several instances in which his antics actually solved the problems of those around him. He also displays a surprising amount of talent at various activities including kendo. On rare occasions, he displays bouts of selfless kindness (for example, in one anime episode he saved a frog from a truck on a rainy day, getting all wet and dirty and risking Misae's ire since it was his last set of clean clothes), but these are often immediately followed by antics that negate the goodwill others feel. There are also times when Shin Chan displays a level of maturity beyond his usual self in his concern for others. For example, during the trip to Australia where he bumps into Kazama, he kindheartedly arranged for Kazama's father to play ball with his son after Shin Chan notices him being sad on the beach.

Oolong is a shapeshifting humanoid pig, standing about three feet tall with pale pink skin, who tends to dress in trousers, button-down shirts, and suspenders. He was expelled from shapeshifting training for stealing the teacher's underwear and lacks the ability to change his form for more than five minutes at a time without a break. With his shapeshifting, Oolong can look like anything at all. Oolong's initial appearance was as a villain who terrorized a village and kidnapped their young women. Son Goku defeated Oolong and the girls were returned to their village. Bulma decided that he might be useful on her Dragonball quest and persuaded him to join their expedition. Eventually he becomes good friends with Goku and the others, and helps them to find more Dragonballs. He plays a large role in the beginning of Dragon Ball, but by the end of Dragon Ball Z, he just shows up from time to time. His poor shapeshifting skills (and innate cowardice) made him a very weak character that didn't have much to do once the tone was shifted to more serious action. In the anime and several movies, he appears quite often as comic relief. He is loosely based on the character Zhu Bajie from the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West.

Goten is a fictional character in the manga and anime series Dragon Ball Z, as well as appearing in Dragon Ball GT. He is the second son of Son Goku and Chi Chi. Goten is a Human-Saiyan hybrid, just like his older brother, Son Gohan.  Son Goten's natural physique almost perfectly replicates his father Goku's, even though his appearance such as hairstyle and clothes change from time to time. Goten is generally seen wearing an outfit that mimics his father's, with only slight differences. As in the case of the last few episodes of Dragon Ball Z, his hair has grown long, no longer looking like his father's, he also wears a blue and white shirt with his name printed on it. In Dragon Ball GT, he wears a white shirt with purple jeans, and his hair is much shorter. His skin color stays lightly tanned for all of his appearances in Dragon Ball Z/GT. Goten, unlike his brother, was never shown to have a tail. This is never explained. Sango is youkai slayer ("youkai taijiya") who hails from a village of professional yōkai slayers. The only member of Inuyasha's group to have no supernatural powers, Sango instead wields the Hiraikotsu, a massive boomerang made of yōkai bones, in addition to a broad repertoire of tools and tricks for battling yōkai. Sango is also a victim of Naraku's evil schemes; her family was killed and her entire village destroyed by Naraku's yōkai so that Naraku could then blame Inuyasha and manipulate Sango into trying to kill him. When his plot failed, Naraku used a shard of the Shikon Jewel to revive and control her little brother Kohaku, forcing him to fight Inuyasha and company, and using him as a means by which to manipulate Sango. She seeks vengeance against Naraku, but her primary goal is to rescue Kohaku from Naraku's influence and somehow save his life, although currently it's uncertain if she will be able to do so as Kohaku's life is tied to the jewel shard. She has obvious feelings towards Miroku, although she is offended by his constant groping and lechery. Konohamaru named after the village he lives in: Konoha, is the grandson of the Third Hokage and by extension the nephew of Asuma Sarutobi. Konohamaru usually hangs out with his two friends, Udon and Moegi. Together, they call themselves the "Konohamaru Corps" ("Konohamaru Ninja Squad" in the English dub). 

In Part II they are teamed together under the leadership of Ebisu, Konohamaru's former tutor.  At the start of the series, Konohamaru feels unacknowledged due to his status as the Hokage's grandson. As such, he frequently attempts to defeat his grandfather in battle so that he can become Hokage himself and earn the recognition he desires. Once meeting Naruto Uzumaki, Konohamaru realizes that he can't become Hokage by simply attacking his grandfather and will need to train hard to accomplish this goal.

Nurse Joy is a recurring character in every Pokemon series released.   There are multiple Nurse Joys in every town, city and region. They all look the same, have the same voice and personalities. There have been numerous speculations as to why all the Joys look alike, though it seems they are all related in some way.   However, there have been instances in which a Nurse Joy has been known to have a different personality and appearance (such as the aggressive sun-tanned Nurse Joy of the Orange Islands). Brock has an ability to tell each Joy apart based on minute details in their differences.   Each Joy works in the field of medicine, loves Pokemon and is extremely patient and caring. Training with Genma at Jusenkyou in China, Ranma was thrown into a spring called Nyanniichuan. He emerged as a young girl, according with the spring's curse. When splashed with hot water, he changes back to a boy, but when splashed with cold to room temperature water, he turns into a girl again. As for our well-built 16-year-old hero/heroine, the martial arts is his life. He also possesses a rather large and easily wounded ego, believing his physical strength to be his only virtue. Whenever his pride is damaged, Ranma feels the need to rectify the situation, even when it's not necessarily in his best interest to do so.

Another of Japoness' otome kairo marionettes. She is the most maternal of the three &amp; acts like the perfect stereotype of the Japanese wife, excelling at cooking and doing everything to please &quot;Master&quot; Otaru, who is the subject of her frequent romantic daydreams in which she goes into over-romantic frenzies and loses sight of her current objectives. Kiki apprentice under Aries Mu. Also known as Appendix Kiki. Like his master and grandmaster, Kiki also bears the ornaments on his forehead and is the youngest of the people of the continent of Mu. He never fights, but can use powerful telekinesis against normal humans. In the Poseidon arc, he was given the duty of bringing the Libra Cloth to all the Bronze Saints, fulfilling it valiantly even at the risk of his life.

Chun-Li is a video game character created by Capcom. She is part of the Street Fighter series, and is the first female playable character to appear in a mainstream fighting game. Introduced in Street Fighter II, Chun-Li was the only female character in the game, and while not as physically powerful as the other characters, she was by far the quickest. Her most famous attack is the Hyakuretsukyaku (Hundred Rending Leg, commonly known as the Lightning Kick), where she repeatedly kicks her opponent from a tilted standing position with incredible speed. Rikichi's wife. She gave herself willingly to the bandits to save Kanna village. Kirara discovers from the bandits that Sanae and other "choice" girls that they abduct, are sent to the capital.   ~!When Kambei goes to the capital to rescue her, he discovers that Sanae is the emperor's consort and that she is pregnant with his child. She was so mentally traumatized in the capital that she develops a condition similar to Stockholm Syndrome, in which she believes that she actually loves the emperor and forgets her original reason for sacrificing herself to the him in the first place. After Ukyo murders the emperor and usurps his throne, Sanae suffers an emotional breakdown. That, combined with abuse from Ukyo's harem, causes her to have a miscarriage and she ends up losing the baby. After being rescued by the samurai, Sanae is taken to the Firefly house to recover, where she starts coming to her senses. When Rikichi arrives at the Firefly House, she refuses to see him, telling him that she is unfit to be his wife anymore after everything that happened to her. Rikichi eventually convinces her to come back to him, and she stays at the Firefly House during the final battle. A few weeks after the final Battle with Ukyo, Sanae is seen planting the new rice crop in the fields alongside her husband Rikichi.!~

Umagon (Ponygon in English dub) is a mamodo who resembles a small horse, donkey or a sheep according to Kiyomaro's friends. Umagon can only speak "Meru meru mee". Umagon's real name is "Schneider," as it is revealed in the flashbacks that his mother calls him so. Umagon is seen many times throughout the series following Gash Bell around, but he was not officially introduced until episode 23.   His human partner is Kafka Sunbeam.  In the manga, Umagon discovers Gash at the end of his trip in England, but the anime introduced Umagon in Japan earlier to show him off while following him and Kiyomaro to England to follow with manga continuity.

Maya Ibuki is a First Lieutenant at NERV and a computer technician who works primarily with Ritsuko Akagi. Her main role during the fights with the Angels is to constantly monitor the Eva pilots’ synchronization ratios and send various emergency commands to the Evangelions as ordered by Misato or Gendo. 

~!When Maya's Instrumentality occurs, Lilith (in the form of Ritsuko) types "I need you" into Maya's laptop and embraces her. Maya's reversion to LCL comes after an ecstatic gasp of "Senpai!" However, this scene is the only one that alludes to her possible feelings towards Ritsuko, and its intention is not clear.!~

In spite of her profession, Maya despises violence of any sort, and is frequently shown becoming nauseous and averting her eyes during battles with the Angels. Notably, in The End of Evangelion, Maya is the only NERV officer who is shown refusing to fight back against the JSSDF invaders. She rejects the gun Shigeru hands her to defend herself saying "I can't shoot this thing", not because she is unskilled, but because she has never shot it at a human being.

Sonoko Suzuki is the second daughter of [Shiro Suzuki,](https://anilist.co/character/50609/Shiro-Suzuki) head of the extremely wealthy family and large company, second only to [Renya Karasuma,](https://anilist.co/character/130839/Renya-Karasuma) and his wife [Tomoko.](https://anilist.co/character/130107/Tomoko-Suzuki) She has an older sister, [Ayako,](https://anilist.co/character/35748/Ayako-Suzuki) and an uncle, [Jirokichi,](https://anilist.co/character/30357/Jirokichi-Suzuki) who is often involved in trying to capture [Kaitou Kid.](https://anilist.co/character/1747/Kaito-Kuroba) She and Ran have been close friends since kindergarten. 

Her primary character traits are her impulsiveness, her temper and sense for romanticism. She often acts without thinking ahead, thereby usually dragging Ran _(and by extension, Conan)_ into her schemes or firing her mouth away with wild tales. Often she acts very insensitively to other's feelings; while she encourages Ran to take her relationship with Shinichi to a higher level, she just as much enjoys teasing her best friend and beholding her embarrassment. Despite coming from a very wealthy family and fully enjoying such a pampered lifestyle, Sonoko surprisingly humble about it. Never trying to buy popularity and friends or bride her way to get what she wants, Sonoko appreciates getting things that matter and for the right reasons. 

At the series' start, Sonoko's primary interest was in boys and in trying to snag the "perfect boy". She often tried multiple avenues to attract a boyfriend, including dressing up specifically to attract a boy, making a boy chocolates, trying to impress a boy while wearing a bikini, or going to various events that young guys were going to attend. Whenever Ran's company diverts the attention of Sonoko's target, Sonoko feels jealous and disappointed (although this has never affected their friendship). However, this changed when Sonoko met and began dating Makoto. Although Sonoko is still easily attracted to other men, she is loyal to Makoto and tries to act the way she thinks a girlfriend should, including making him gifts and planning romantic rendezvous.

Conan has had to use Sonoko sometimes when he needs to do a deduction show. At first he struggled to mimic Sonoko's mannerisms and feminine speech patterns, but now he is better at it. However, because he has had to use Sonoko so often for a deduction, she, like [Kogoro Mouri,](https://anilist.co/character/1746/Kogoro-Mouri) has completely bought into her whole "sleeping" person, calling herself the best detective in Teitan High School, and a "Deduction Queen." This makes Conan sometimes regret using her to solve a case, though he does admire her courage in certain situations. Sonoko is sometimes able to solve little things on her own, and can figure things out when she is provided some assistance by Conan, such as when Conan was sick and had to communicate to Sonoko, Kogoro, and [Yamamura](https://anilist.co/character/27059/Misao-Yamamura) in charades and sign language.

Like many other people, Sonoko is a big fan of the [Kaitou Kid,](https://anilist.co/character/1747/Kaito-Kuroba) due to his style, charm and daring exploits. She keeps cheering him on in trying to steal something, even when that 'something' is a rare treasure of the Suzuki family. She wishes to meet Kid up close (and have it develop into something more), and sometimes almost gets her wish, but is very disappointed at the ultimate failure.

A 9-year-old girl who lives in Jingle Village. She rescues Son Goku from the freezing weather that he isn't accustomed to when his plane crashes in the cold northern region. After the Red Ribbon Army saga, she appears later mostly in the anime when Piccolo Daima� destroys a town's celebrations and she was to give the King some flowers. She reappears later on in DBZ when Goku asks for energy. In Dragon Ball GT, she makes her final appearance alongside Android #8 in the episode that Piccolo sacrifices himself to rid of the Black Star Dragon Balls' existence. It is important to note that, not only are her subsequent appearances not canon to the manga (except in the Buu Saga), but that she is only named in the anime as well.

She is vital to the team, and as the oldest, she has a deep knowledge of battle techniques. She is also the granddaughter of the man named Dr. Michael Gehabich. Alice Gehabich is one of the main characters in the anime Bakugan Battle Brawlers. She along with Shun will probally be the only main adult brawlers in Mechtanium Surge.     Alice was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. She used to live alone in a small house until her grandfather came for her. She went back to living there when he disappeared. ~!She also has an aunt and uncle whom she lived with during her period of hiding from the Brawlers. !~ It is presumed her parents have died so she is home educated by her grandfather due to no schools accessible near her house area. She is closest to Runo and frequently worries about Dan and Shun. She can be quite gullible due to her being over trusting of others, ~!shown when she was tricked by Lync.!~ Alice is a natural beauty, but she is not as concerned about her appearance as Julie. Alice is very polite, often doing errands for others, and rarely chooses to bother others with her problems unless they ask her or it is of the upmost importance to the task at hand for them.     She has always been afraid to play Bakugan, although she knows all the rules, it might be because she always underestimates herself and because she is afraid of losing, which sometimes makes her feel useless. Instead, Alice just gives advice and strategy to the other members of the group. She is pretty good with strategy and knows which abilities and Bakugan to use at a certain time. While some find this to be a nuisance, her advice has actually helped the Brawlers a great deal. ~!Although she plays now, she still struggles with her past history and in both of her losses these feelings somehow contributed to the battle. It is shown that she had grown a little more confident after her battle with Shadow.!~ Alice is seen as one of the most mature of in the group, the other being Shun, considering they both are the oldest. She hates causing trouble for her friends, and also dislikes it when Dan and Runo fight, because she wants the group to stay together. She can &quot;read&quot; the others&#039; emotions, as shown in episode 28, when she was able to sense that something is wrong with Shun and after he said &quot;No, nothing.&quot;, she insisted him to tell them because she knew that he was lying. She seems to like Shun in the first series but it was never proven though. She was one of the people who were suspected to be a spy for Masquerade along with Joe and Shun, but she was able to clear her name by helping Runo and Dan in a battle. 
~! Later, when Julie apologized to Shun about mistaking his grandfather for Hal-G and Dan blamed him about not telling them that he was in town, Alice was the first one to defend Shun.!~
~! She is ranked number 2. The only problem is that she doesn&#039;t like fighting. Alice&#039;s Guardian Bakugan is Alpha Hydranoid. She is also known to have fought Klaus with his Bakugan such as a Ventus Bee Striker, Subterra Mantris, and Darkus Centipoid (which she was afraid to use). Michael Gehabich&#039;s lab in Russia has been the suspect of being uneasy of the group&#039;s Guardian Bakugan. In the lab, they learned through a video recording that he has been working with cross-dimension research to Vestroia. They also saw another video where they learned, much to their shock, that Michael transformed into a monster, Hal-G. With this, Alice became extremely worried about her grandfather, and hoped to save him. She was very happy when her grandfather was freed from Naga&#039;s control.!~
