Ikki&#039;s homeroom teacher. Young, cute and inexeperienced, she&#039;s the perfect object of a junior high school students fantasies. Referred to as Ton-chan by just about everyone and has gotten involved with Kogarasumaru&#039;s adventures as an AT-team. A former student at Higashi Junior High-school herself, she&#039;s constantly being reprimanded by Orihara Masaya, the academic head of the school and her former teacher. She has a small car that the team used to travel to watch the battle where they first met Akito/Agito. She is constantly paranoid that someone is going to rape her.

Mikan is the second eldest of the Noyamano sisters. A tomboyish girl with short messy hair, she&#039;s the disciplinarian of the group and is the one who usually punishes Ikki for his misdeeds. She also seems to enjoy teasing Ringo about her &#039;marital problems&#039; with Ikki (especially later on when Akito/Agito moves in with them). She has a soft spot for retro games, something which Simca uses to initially gain her favor. Later on however, she confronts Simca on the issue of who&#039;s side Simca is really on. Like Ringo and the rest of the Sleeping Forest team, she was revealed to be a Gravity Child.

Rika is the eldest of the Noyamano sisters. She acts like a typical older sister and takes care of the family. To support her sisters and Ikki, she works as Destler Bartlett, a female pro-wrestler. During the time when Ikki discovers AT, she is out on a national tour with her wrestling promotion. Unknown to Ikki at first, she is the former Thorn Queen of the original Sleeping Forest, which required her to utilizes her hip joints as the base of her moves. The disadvantage of her Sonia Road was that it took quite a toll on her body, making her tire easily. She is one of two members of the original Sleeping Forest that is not a Gravity Child, the other being Ine. Throughout her entire stay in Sleeping Forest and afterwards, she was unaware of the significance of the Sky Regalia and the true intentions of Sora. She was initially Sora&#039;s girlfriend, though they fell apart after Kilik&#039;s betrayal. She also quits using AT, and she initially fears that Ikki will suffer the same fate as Sora if he continues to be a Storm Rider, although she is finally convinced of his talent after a strange battle with him and a team consisting of Sora and his dogs. She and Sora talk often afterward and eventually reconnect.    In her youth Rika was displayed as a lone ranger who achieved the right to use the Thorn Regalia in her early teens by herself, even though she was not a Gravity Child. She battled off opposing enemies aiming for her title as the Thorn Queen and aimed to take down all the teams in the area alone. In addition, she found the means to support her large family by herself, though they were bordering poverty. On one of her fights she met Sora, who she christened as the &#039;120 Yen&#039;, for the iced coffee he bought her. Sora appeared as one of her fans, and later became her companion and friend. On one occasion, she revealed to Sora that she had caught wind of a group who was reputedly composed of the strongest Kings of the era, and wanted to take them down. Only upon arrival of the battlefield did she find out that the team was none other than Sora&#039;s Sleeping Forest, and that he was the leader, the man closest to becoming Sky King at that time. Sora extended his offer to include her on the team, and because she desired to remain at Sora&#039;s side, she complied.    After joining, Rika was romantically involved with Sora, and also a major cause for Kilik&#039;s jealousy. When Kilik declared betrayal upon Sora, she was not present for the battle on any of the sides, presumably uniforned by neither Sora nor Kilik, who had only recently confessed to her the perivous night. She arrived too late to find the battle alreadly over, Kilik the winning party, Sora and his supporters beaten and robbed of their Regalia. Sora, grievously injured by the battle in both legs, lost hope and broke up with Rika, leaving her the Sleeping Forest emblem, which she passed down to her sister Ringo later.    Afraid of such a repeat of the same incidence, present-day Rika attempted to stop Ikki from going down the same road as Sora, who she already recognized bearing many similar traits to Sora since young. This is further encouraged by Ikki&#039;s climbing of Tokyo Tower when he was a child, which resulted in him falling off and getting carried away by the eight-winged crow. Having already seen the signs in Ikki, she often approached Sora to talk about him, in fact Sora has commented before that she has only ever come to look for him to talk about Ikki since the day they parted. Rika tries to stop Ikki from AT-ing by challenging him in a match, but is defeated when Ikki exceeds her expectations. She then recognizes Ikki&#039;s strength, and supports his goal from that day on, though she still takes care to limit Ikki by locking his body with Heavy weights, which Ikki grows accustomed to quickly.    Rika has sworn off ATs, though she still retains her skills from that her prime. She does not play a role in the current power struggle in the AT world, though she is shown to be aware of it. Some evidence are that she guessed Kanon&#039;s motives in aggravating Ringo and Ikki into a fight, and that she advised Ringo to make up her mind about Ikki, who would surely become an enemy to Sleeping Forest in the future. However, there are no signs that she knows about Sora retaking his place as Wind King and making use of Ikki. Whether this is because Sora is keeping this from her or if she does not want to talk about it is unknown.    Just before the battle against Genesis, Sora reveals a captive Rika and is trying to force the current Sleeping Forest to give up their advantage in the forest. Mikan is the only one to choose to save Rika and also reveals that their sister is pregnant which is all the more reason to rescue her.

A 16-year old Japanese figure skater is  known for her sharp tongue. She is on bad terms with the media and the public because of her attitude due to her string of bad luck in competitions. At the beginning of the series is possessed by the ghost of Pete Pumps and while she initially hated him, she gradually grew to accept his constant presence in her life.   While possessed, she picked up the habit of eating tomatoes, because her possessor Pete hates tomatoes and using masochism, since Pete can share Tazusa&#039;s pain to keep him in line. Joshua is Ray&#039;s brother and is talkative, upbeat and sociable. Though he deeply cares for Ray, he is entirely different in behaviour than his older brother. Joshua claims his brother changed to his present behaviour after his wife, Yoshimo&#039;s, death at the hands of the Claw Man, and although he also loved Yoshimo, he wishes for Ray to accept her death and return home instead of exating his avenge on her killer. Pricilla is a pink-haired girl who met Van for the first time in an armor battle tournament. She loves to pilot her armor and gives all the prize money she wins to the efforts of her sister in raising orphans. She controls her armor through a control interface system which allows her movements to be directly mimicked by her armor, thus taking advantage of her great athletics. She later joins Van's company and also gains a crush on him, to Wendy's chagrin. She is not afraid to show her feelings for Van and the Eldorado Five even once enthusiastically encouraged her to purpose a marriage to him, seeing her strong feelings.    Another thing which seems to irritate Wendy (and Carmen), is that Van managed to remember Prisilla's name almost right away after their first meeting, while it took him several episodes to remember Wendy's.

Lia is D&#039;Eon&#039;s older sister, and a skilled fencer. She was killed under mysterious circumstances and the story revolves around finding the truth. Despite flashbacks of her being a caring and considerate young woman, her spirit is full of great anger, sorrow, and the desire to exact revenge. She had a unique sword stance, which made it easy for Teillagory to identify her when the others are unsure. Later in the series, it becomes more obvious that Lia was connected to Maximilien Robespierre and some of the other supporting characters in the series. Many royals remember and looked up to Lia, such as Empress Elizaveta of Russia.

Haruko Akagi is the younger sister of Takenori Akagi and the love interest of Hanamichi Sakuragi who was responsible for uncovering his potential in basketball.

She is a kind, sweet and friendly girl with a captivating personality who is always around to cheer on the players, especially her brother Takenori Akagi, who is extremely protective of her and taught her the basics of basketball, and Hanamichi Sakuragi, whom she considers her best friend. Haruko often appears at matches together with Sakuragi's cohorts and her two best friends, Fujii and Matsui. She, like most girls in Shohoku, has a strong obsession for Kaede Rukawa, although he never reciprocates her feelings and, later , she acknowledges that he will not love her the way she wants him to and tries to let go of her crush, however unsuccessfully.

Granddaughter of the Pantasia chain&#039;s owner. She works at Pantasia&#039;s Southern Tokyo branch store where she is the manager&#039;s (Ken Matsushiro) understudy. She is dedicated to making the store as successful as possible and has earned the respect and affection of her colleagues. She was the one to initially recognize Azuma and Kawachi&#039;s talent and bring them to work at the store. Tsukino is implied to be a talented baker since in the past, at a young age, she won third place in the newcomer&#039;s tournament.

The eldest daughter of Pantasia.

Yukino can be quite cruel, such as by placing Tsukino's mother's remains under a withered tree instead of her proper grave. She had intended to buy up her grandfather's stock but ended up being the president of St. Pierre in a twist. She has a grudge against Pantasia and ended up trying to exhaust Pantasia's 12 billion yen won by Kanmuri when he bet on Team Japan during the Monaco Cup.

She seems to have a sexual relationship with Yuuchi Kirisaki. This character is another one of Azuma's antagonists and possesses the opposite of Solar hands: Snow Storm Hands. She also dislikes Tsukino heavily, even to the point of insulting her, which anger Azuma thoroughly.

Prim, proper and very beautiful, Shimako is the most admired of the first-years. She is the petite soeur of Satō Sei at the beginning of the story and later her successor. Touko is a member of the Drama club, and nicknamed Mechanical Drill by Satou Sei for her corkscrew pigtails. In the beginning of her first year Touko causes some strain in the relationship between Yumi and Sachiko. ~! Despite this, her adopted family loves her like she was their own biological daughter, who adopted her after her parents died in a car crash, leaving her as the sole survivor.    It&#039;s also revealed that Touko wants to take over the family hospital after her grandfather, but she wasn&#039;t allowed to do so yet, due to her young age. She will most likely be given that opportunity at a later date, though.!~

Carmen 99 (real name, Carol Mendosa) is a bright and self-sufficient intelligence agent/mercenary who Van and Wendy encounter in the second episode of the anime, although Van apparently has met her before. The nickname 'Carmen 99', comes both from her bust measurement (99 cm) and the number of hidden accessories she always carries. She is often looking for more ways to earn money.

Carmen grew up in the town of Trinolia with her uncle and his daughter (having lost her parents), both of whom she shared a close friendship with until she left the town. Throughout the series, Carmen frequently leaves Van and Wendy's company to later reunite with them, until she finally joins forces with them at the final stand to save the planet.
