Tenshinhan is a fictional character from the Dragon Ball metaseries and the franchise equivalent created by Akira Toriyama. Trained by Muten-Rôshi's rival, the Crane hermit he starts out as an enemy of Son Goku, but soon makes peace and becomes an ally. He is usually accompanied by Chaozu, his training partner and best friend, whom he can communicate with telepathically.  At the time of his introduction, Tenshinhan is among the most powerful warriors in the series, matched only by Goku himself. Like most other characters, his relative strength quickly diminishes as the story progresses.  As is the case with a handful of other characters from the early chapters of Dragon Ball, Tenshinhan was inspired by a character from Journey to the West; his unique feature of having a third eye was derived from the Chinese god Erlang Shen. Hojo is a boy at Kagome&#039;s school, and forms a giant crush for Kagome. He completely believes she&#039;s sick all the time and goes out of his way to bring her things to make her feel better.    After Inuyasha forced Kagome back to her own time Kagome had an actual date with Hojo. But she was so worried about Inuyasha&#039;s wounds that she ran out of the restaurant in the middle of everything to try and return to the past. She often tries to convince herself that she really loves Hojo, but she always seems to take Inuyasha over Hojo if she has the choice.    On a side note, Hojo&#039;s ancestor, Hojo Akitoki, shows up back in the past, and he is also in love with Kagome. He appears first in the second movie, Castle Beyond the Looking Glass, and then later in Episode 137: The Ancestor&#039;s Name Is Kagome. Hojo Akitoki looks a lot like the present day Hojo, except with a different hair-style and his hair and eye color are a lighter brown.    On March 14, 2006, on Inuyasha, they mentioned a sword of Kaijimbo before Tokijin was made. This sword gave bad luck to the Hojo family. Hayato is one of Amuro's best friends in Side 7. He joins the White Base crew to prove that he has much use as anyone else. He teams up with Ryu in the Guntank and they both make a good team at taking out Zeon Mobile Suits.   ~! After the One Year War, Hayato marries Fraw and adopts Katz, Letz, and Kikka. He becomes the leader of a resistance group called the Karaba on Earth and they associate themselves with the AEUG. He uses old technology from an old Flight museum he has for his attacks against the Titans. !~

Sage Date, known in Japan as Seiji Date (伊達征士 Date Seiji), is a member of the Ronin Warriors and considered the most mature and aloof member of the team. One of the key moments for this character takes place in the CD drama Korinden, when he questions whether or not he wants to be a Ronin Warrior.    Sage comes from a very traditional Japanese family, in which the women hold the power. He has a father who is a police officer, a mother, grandmother, grandfather, older sister Yayoi, and younger sister Satsuki. Satsuki is the most &quot;normal&quot; of the Date family and doesn&#039;t use proper Japanese language like her siblings.    In the OVA Gaiden, Sage was captured by Shikaisen and the Mad Scientist; his Halo Armor was used to kill people in New York, one of them being Runa&#039;s brother.    Sage wears the Halo armor, called Korin (literal translation: holy aura) in YST. His Virtue is Chi (Wisdom), which was changed from Rei (Courtesy) in YST. His elemental affinity is light. Sage fights with a nodachi, a Japanese broadsword. His surekill is the Thunderbolt Cut, called Rai Ko Zan (Lightning Strike) in YST. His thunderbolt has him gather a large amount of energy to his sword, and despite the name it&#039;s sometimes used as a thrust attack. It can also manifest as a burst of energy beams.    There is an interesting little story about Sage and it seems that he was vice-president of the Kendo club at his high school in ninth grade and the president in tenth grade. Because of the battle with Talpa (Arago) which occurred in the spring (that would be his second resurgence), Sage did not attend the Kendo tournament. A young man named Shingo (apparently a friendly rival of Sage&#039;s in the sport) won the championship that year and later wrote a letter to Sage, hoping that they&#039;ll meet at next year&#039;s tournament.    It was in this letter that Rowen and Kento got the idea to cut Sage&#039;s hair. Shingo had written that Sage didn&#039;t look bad with both eyes and asked him why he didn&#039;t cut his hair. Rowen and Kento chased Sage with scissors. They didn&#039;t read the rest of the letter where Shingo speculated that maybe Sage&#039;s victory was due partly to how intimidating Sage looks with both eyes showing. Like Netto, Laika is also a Net Savior. Unlike Netto, he takes his job very very seriously and depends solely on the traditional means of net navi battling. Laika absolutely despises Cross Fusion, thinking it as of unwanted technology that is not needed. Laika comes from the country of Sharo, and operates the net navi Searchman.   As his attitude suggests, he considers himself a far better Net Savior than Netto. He repeatadly comments on how Japan's Net Saviors are weak minded and useless. It takes Netto a long struggle to finally earn a shred of respect from him, when his navi Rockman saves Searchman from the Dark Loid Desertman with Soul Unison.   Even though Laika starts out as a tough nut, as usual Netto's friendly demeanor whittles away at his stone exteriour. Eventually Laika comes to respect Netto in the same way Enzan does.
