Ikuko is kind of quirky and clueless regarding her daughter&#039;s extracurricular activities (just like her husband, Kenji). She&#039;s a housewife and very good cook, but is often frustrated with Usagi&#039;s bad grades, messiness, and laziness.    (Source:  Absolute Anime)

An elegant miko (shrine maiden), called Raye in the English version and Raya in the French version. Because of her work as a Shintô priestess, Rei can sense and dispel evil even in civilian form. When she transforms into Sailor Mars, she can also manipulate fire. She is very serious and focused, but although easily annoyed by Usagi's flightiness, cares about her very much. Rei is portrayed as boy-crazy in the early anime, but is uninterested in romance in both the manga and live-action series. She attends a private Catholic school, separate from the other girls. 

Artemis is the companion to the leader of the Guardian Senshi—he trained [Minako Aino](https://anilist.co/character/2826/Minako-Aino) as Sailor V, and remains by her side when she takes on her proper role as Sailor Venus. His memory of the Silver Millennium seems to be more intact than Luna's—in fact, before appearing in the Sailor Moon series he guides her through the Sailor V video game at the arcade. Later, he fills in the details of her true mission. Artemis is more easy going than [Luna,](https://anilist.co/character/5407/Luna) and has a "big brother" relationship with Minako, although his attraction to her is sometimes implied. He also cares very deeply about Luna, often comforting her when she is distressed and stating his admiration of her. In addition, he is a good father to [Diana](https://anilist.co/character/11899/Diana) as evidenced by her affection for him. Artemis does not seem to mind the fact that he is named after a female goddess, even when teased about it by Minako. 

An actress, her partner is Terrence G. Grandchester. Susanna also have feelings for Terrence. 

Pu'ar is a soft-spoken shapechanging blue creature and the constant companion of Yamcha. The name is revealed to be a pun on Pu-erh tea. Pu'ar is neither a cat or a mouse, albeit the series creator Akira Toriyama stated that he had drawn the character to look a little bit like a cat. Traveling alongside Yamcha, the two worked as a team robbing anyone traveling through the desert area in which they lived. Pu'ar has an innate ability of levitation or flight, and is nearly always seen simply 'standing' in thin air at about human head height.  Pu'ar has the unique ability to shapeshift into any form, even inanimate objects, and can hold that form for as long as desired; his strength is not increased by the change, however, and as such he is unable to turn into something that can be used up like fuel or food. Pu'ar graduated from the same shapeshifting academy as Oolong, although unlike Oolong, Pu'ar had completed all of the academy training and does not have Oolong's difficulties with maintaining a transformed state. Pu'ar shows up quite a bit in the beginning, but becomes less of a presence as the series continues. As the driving theme of the series is mostly about fighting, Pu'ar can do little more than react to the horrors of the latest supervillains in the story.  There is some debate regarding the character's gender. Despite being portrayed by several female voice actors, the character has been referred to with both male and female pronouns during the anime. Though the issue of gender is never directly addressed, Toriyama has referred to Pu'ar as "he" while answering a fan question in the "Ask Me Anything" section in the back of the manga. Some fans believe that since shape-shifters can assume many different forms, gender is a moot point.

The son of Bora, he accompanies Son Goku for a short time during the Fortuneteller Baba Saga in order to recover all of the Dragon Balls so they can wish his father back to life. Upa is a member of the native tribe who serve as the guardians of Karin Tower. His father is the chief, however, the rest of the tribe is not seen until the end of the manga. He participates in the fight against Uranai Baba's thugs and helps Pu'ar defeat Dracula Man (a kickboxing vampire) with garlic breath. At the end of Dragon Ball Z, now an adult, he is shown giving energy to Goku's Genki Dama. Upa and his father also make a final cameo appearance in Dragon Ball GT on the episode "Piccolo's Decision". It is interesting to note that when Kuririn first meets Upa, he thinks that Upa is a cute girl. He is disgusted when he finds out otherwise and apologizes to Upa.

Lunch is Muten-Roshi's house maid, retrieved by the young Goku and Krilin in order to receive martial-arts training from him (his requirement was to "bring him a pretty girl"). She has dissociative identity disorder; whenever she sneezes, she switches between a sweet, innocent girl with blue hair, and a cleavage-bearing blonde bombshell who commits crimes for fun and is quick to respond with gunfire when angered (pulling a machine-gun out from nowhere when needed). Neither of Lunch's personalities remembers what the other says or does, and it is never said if the evil side knows of the innocent self; however, the innocent Lunch is aware of her evil side, although she doesn't really seem very concerned over her presence.

A short, hairless (for most of the series) warrior monk, loyal Kuririn provides comic relief during tense moments. Like Chiaotzu, Kuririn doesn't have a nose. He is a good-natured, outgoing and competitive martial artist.  Once a fierce rival of Son Goku, he quickly became his best friend while training under Muten Roshi. He also is close to Goku's son, Gohan. <div rel="spoiler">He eventually marries Android 18 and settles down, having a daughter named Marron.</div>

Dende is a Namekian who takes the role of the Earth's god after Kami fuses with Piccolo. He is first introduced in the Namek Saga when Son Gohan and Kuririn save him from Dodoria. He gets his power unlocked by their elder, giving him the power to heal. He aids the warriors during the fight with Freeza until he is killed by the tyrant. After being revived by Shenlong, he lives on New Namek until Son Goku can teleport there during the Cell Saga to ask a Namekian to become the new God of Earth and revive the Dragon Balls. A mysterious person who comes from the future and tells our protagonist Son Goku of the bleak future to come. He is characterized as well-mannered, serious, and very cautious.

Reika is Motoki's girlfriend. She appears only twice in the anime series, and is the reincarnation of the Great Youma Rikokeidā. In the anime, she leaves Japan twice in order to study abroad, resulting in a long distance relationship between herself and Motoki. The second time, she leaves the country for ten years, but Motoki is still willing to wait for her. In the manga, Reika does not leave the country and simply attends KO university with Motoki. She also meets Setsuna Meioh there and becomes friends with her. 

Garoben was a Youma summoned by Jadeite to drain energy from unsuspecting students as part of the Dark Kingdom&#039;s continuing energy-gathering efforts. She appeared in anime episode 8. She was a female humanoid creature with red skin, dark spiky hair, a light purple mark on her forehead, and spikes that stretched from her shoulders and back

Jumeau is a female youma under the control of Nephrite in episode 018 (Shingo no junjou! Kanashimi no France ningyou). Her mission is to gather the energy of doll maker Mika Kayama once she reaches her peak energy output. Nephrite puts his evil crest on a French doll made by Mika, causing her to become obsessed with making ten replicas of the doll and hastening her approach towards her peak energy output. At Mika&#039;s mother&#039;s next doll show, Mika reaches her productive peak. Jumeau immediately emerges from the doll and drains all of the girl&#039;s energy. Shingo Tsukino is on the scene, and he rushes forward towards his friend, only to be knocked against a wall by the youma. Because Shingo is unconscious, Usagi takes the opportunity to transform into Sailor Moon and challenge the youma. A doll with very sharp teeth flies towards Sailor Moon, but she manages to dodge it. She leaps through a nearby window, and Jumeau comes crashing through after her. Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars soon appear, and Sailor Mercury uses her Sab&atilde;o Spray attack to fill the air with bubbles and confuse the youma. Two dolls fly towards the three girls, but Sailor Mars uses her Akuryou Taisan attack to incapacitate them. Meanwhile, Jumeau finds Sailor Moon and begins to strangle her as Mercury&#039;s bubbles fade. Sailor Mars uses Fire Soul to attack the youma and destroy her arms, but she is able to regenerate them immediately and fire them at the senshi. She is able to the same with her legs. Sailor Mercury uses her visor to detect the youma&#039;s weak spot, which is located near her right foot. Sailor Moon tries to attack, but Jumeau&#039;s detached hands are sill strangling her, and she is unable to call out the name of her attack. Fortunately, Tuxedo Kamen arrives just in time. He throws a rose at Jumeau, breaking her concentration and causing her limbs (including the ones strangling Sailor Moon) to reattach themselves to her body. Once she is free, Sailor Moon uses her Moon Tiara Action attack to hit the youma&#039;s weak spot and destroy her. Mika&#039;s energy is immediately returned to her.    Jumeau has a doll-like, disjointed white body and blue hair. She wears no clothing except for a necklace bearing Nephrite&#039;s evil crest. Jumeau gets her name from a type of antique French dolls made by the doll maker Pierre Jumeau. These dolls were made during the 1800s, and they look almost exactly like the dolls that Mika Kayama makes. The dolls are highly prized among collectors. Cameran was a female youma under the control of Nephrite in episode 017 (Model ha Usagi? Youma camera no nessha). Her mission was to gather the energy of award-winning photographer Kijin Shinokawa once he reached his peak energy output. Nephrite put his evil crest on Kijin&#039;s camera, causing him to become obsessed with taking photographs of young girls. Usagi, along with hundreds of other young girls, was selected for a photo shoot with Kijin. It soon became apparent that when he took the girls&#039; photographs, they disappeared and were trapped within photos. Usagi transformed into Sailor Moon and confronted the photographer, who continued to try to take her picture. She managed to kick his camera into the nearby pool, leaving Kijin unconscious and causing Cameran to emerge. Cameran then attempted to take Sailor Moon&#039;s picture, but she was able to dodge the beams. Just as one of the beams was about to hit Sailor Moon, Luna jumped in front of the girl and was hit instead, causing her to become trapped in a photograph. Cameran threw photographs of Luna and Kijin at Sailor Moon. Cameran eventually backed Sailor Moon into a corner, but Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars suddenly appeared to thwart her plans. Sailor Mercury used her Sab&atilde;o Spray attack to fill the air with bubbles and mist, while Sailor Mars used her Akuryou Taisan attack to fling ofuda at the youma. Cameran was able to deflect the ofuda by blasting them with photographic beams, and she even managed to hit Sailor Mars and Mercury, causing them to become trapped in photographs as well. Sailor Moon backed up against a mirrored wall, and remembered that if the camera captures someone, they are instantly turned into a picture. When Cameran next tried to take Sailor Moon&#039;s picture, Sailor Moon leapt out of the way at the last second, causing the flash to be reflected back onto the youma. Cameran instantly began to melt, and Sailor Moon used her Moon Tiara Action attack to destroy her once and for all. Everyone whose picture was taken reappeared.    Cameran had lavender skin and wavy blue hair. One outstanding physical feature was her broad, horn-like shoulders. She also had a burgundy line that ran vertically across her face, through her right eye. Her right hand had a third eye which acted like a camera. The Lake Monster was an ancient monster who appeared in episode 040. She was never given a proper name, but she is usually referred to as the Lake Monster. Although she was not a true youma, she is often considered to be one due to Endymion&#039;s attempt to use her in a way similar to the Dark Kingdom youma. She came from the lake near the Steamy Hot Springs Inn. Kunzite told Queen Beryl that a strange and powerful energy was coming from the lake. The queen told Endymion to investigate, which he did right away. When he arrived at the lake, he overheard Ikuko telling Usagi about the myth of the Legendary Lovers. She said, &quot;It is an old story that&#039;s been passed down through the generations. A maiden of the Heavens had come down to Earth, and a youth of the land fell in love with her. But a girl, who adored that youth, turned into a monster in a fit of jealousy and she attacked the villagers indiscriminately. The maiden from the Heavens and the youth sealed the monster in this lake with the power of their love. And having exhausted their energy, they rose up to the Heavens together.&quot; After hearing the story, Endymion figured out that the legend was true, and that the source of the strange energy in the lake was actually the monster.    Endymion called forth the spirit in the lake in an attempt to harness its power for use by the Dark Kingdom. When it awakened, however, it was completely out of control. It flew wildly threw the air and kept repeating, &quot;Give him back!&quot; After seeing Usagi, the monster went after the Tsukino family. Although he was extremely frightened, Kenji attempted to protect his family by standing up to the monster. The monster was able to easily knock away the stick he had picked up to defend himself, and she began choking him. Luckily, Endymion arrived dressed as Tuxedo Kamen and threw a black rose through the air which hit the monster and loosened her grip on Kenji. The Sailor Senshi (with the exception of Sailor Moon) arrived just in time to rescue the family. Sailor Mercury used Sab&atilde;o Spray to obstruct the monster&#039;s vision and confuse her. While the Tsukino family made their escape through the fog, Usagi stayed behind and transformed into Sailor Moon.    Sailor Moon clapped her hands to get the monster&#039;s attention through the mist. After giving her speech, she told Tuxedo Kamen that he was a good person for protecting Usagi. Unfortunately, this caused her to lose her concentration, allowing the monster to attack her with its tail. To stun the monster, Sailor Venus quickly used her Crescent Beam attack, while Sailor Jupiter used Supreme Thunder. Although the monster initially disappeared, it quickly reappears. Sailor Moon uses Moon Tiara Action attack, causing it to disappear and reappear once again. The Senshi could not believe that their attacks were not working to kill the monster. Sailor Mars soon correctly realized that this was no ordinary monster: she was an evil spirit &quot;born of old fanatical jealousy.&quot; Endymion confirmed what she said and told them that he was the one responsible for awakening the monster. He told them to back off, but Sailor Mars said that this was in her domain. She used her Akuryou Taisan attack to place an anti-evil scroll on the monster, then used Fire Soul to completely stun it. Sailor Moon took the opportunity to use Moon Healing Escalation, which healed the monster and caused her transform back into the young girl she once was. She had finally been freed of her ancient jealousy, and she ascended into the Heavens. Before she went, she waved back to Endymion, who smiled and waved back. Flau was a Youma summoned by Jadeite to drain energy from unsuspecting radio-listeners as part of the Dark Kingdom&#039;s continuing energy-gathering efforts. She appeared in anime episode 3.    She and Jadeite hijacked FM No. 10 and broadcasted the new program Midnight Zero. Midnight Zero was a program that would read one love letter per night from the fan mail; the fan whose letter was read won a flower pin that would be delivered to them the next morning. These flowers, however, would then sap the energy from whoever was wearing it at the time. Usagi&#039;s friend Naru, as well as their teacher, Ms. Haruna, fell victim to these energy-draining flowers, and both eventually fell into comas.    Once Usagi disguised herself and stormed into the broadcast station to protest, Flau lunged through the sound-proof glass and attacked her, transforming from her human disguise into her true form, a humanoid female with pale blue/purple skin, a blue toga, and unruly brown hair, with a dark star on her forehead. Usagi then transformed into Sailor Moon and was chased by Flau to the roof of the building, as the Youma attacked her with blasts of energy from her mouth and swipes of her sharpened claws. Mayumi Osaka was the name given to Naru's mother in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon; in the other series she was never given a name. In all versions of Sailor Moon, she owned a jewelry shop, and was either replaced or possessed by a Youma who became Sailor Moon's first opponent.   In the manga and live-action series, she never appeared outside of the first Act, but in the anime, she appeared again a couple of times. In episode 23 she showed Naru a rare crystal that had a silvery shine, which Naru mistook for the Silver Crystal and later stole in order to give to Nephrite in his guise as Masato Sanjouin. She also appeared in episode 47 when Naru was attacked by the Cardian Vampire.   In the video game Sailor Moon: Another Story, she and Naru were attacked at the beginning of the game by Cenicienta, but were saved by Sailor Moon. Ramua was a Youma summoned by Jadeite to drain energy from unsuspecting shoppers as part of the Dark Kingdom&#039;s continuing energy-gathering efforts. She appeared in anime episode 9. She had the appearance of a pale-skinned woman with purple hair, red lines running down her cheeks, and a black star on her cheek.    She masqueraded as the owner of a new shop called the Clock Look, a store that sold a large variety of discounted clocks. The clocks, however, had been cursed, and sapped energy from their owners. Usagi and her family managed to get their hands on a few of the clocks, and fell under Ramua&#039;s spell. The clocks would begin to glow at night, speeding up the buyers&#039; perspective of time; this made the humans then began to speed up and produce large amounts of energy, which Ramua and Jaedite collected.    Luna took Usagi&#039;s clock to Ami, who used her computer to analyze the it; they found it had no mechanism inside, and instead let off a large beam of light. Sensing trouble, Ami, Usagi, and Luna left for the Clock Look, where Usagi transformed into Sailor Moon and blasted a hole in the locked door of the shop. Sailor Mercury followed after, but Luna was locked out after the blast-hole fixed itself.    Inside, the two Sailor Senshi confronted Ramua, who then revealed her true form and disappeared into a large clock. Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury followed her in and found themselves in a dimension that had unstable time fields, at one point reducing Sailor Moon into a small child. After returning to her normal form, Sailor Moon followed Mercury as she guided them through the time field right to Ramua. Before they could attack, however, both of them were are stopped; Sailor Moon collapsed from her energy depletion, and Ramua stopped time around Sailor Mercury, preventing her from moving. Ramua attempted to kill them with her spear, but they were saved when Tuxedo Mask shattered the face of the large clock with his rose, reversing the energy-draining spell and depleting Ramua&#039;s powers, as well as freeing the two Senshi. Sailor Mercury used her Sab&atilde;o Spray to cloak the dimension in mist, and Sailor Moon then used her tiara to destory Ramua and the dimension.     (Source: Project WikiMoon)

The DD Girls were five youma who appeared in episode 045.

Emeraldas has been compared many times to Captain Harlock, and the two have some similarities. They also know each other from the days of the Voice of Free Arcadia, when she fought side by side with him and Tochirou, the man who is their common bond. After the Ilumidus resistance, Emeraldas became much like Harlock, sailing the sea of stars and delivering justice in her own unique way.  Emeraldas is one of the few people who know the route of Count Mecha's Time Castle, and when her ship, the Queen Emereldas, appears next to the Galaxy Express, Tetsuro doesn't hesitate to get her attention. Emeraldas would've killed Tetsuro if it weren't for two things. First, Maetel (whom she also knows) is with him. Second, Tetsuro has Tochirou's hat and laser. She listens and then tells Tetsuro where the Time Castle will next appear: Trader's Fork, on the planet of Heavy Melder.  Some time after she leaves, she realizes something is happening on Heavy Melder, something that had to do with Tochirou. She arrives too late. Harlock tells her he's already dead. She leaves but later receives a message. It's from Tochirou, whose soul had been successfully integrated into the Arcadia. Learning that it was Tetsuro who had helped him, she realizes that she owes him a favor, and she proceeds to Andromeda, to repay the favor. She and Tetsuro will cross path a few more times.  Emeraldas is a very lonely soul, especially after the death of Tochirou. Her closest companion, like herself, is a wanderer. You see, the reason she and Maetel know each other...is because they're sisters. Emeraldas also has a daughter, Mayu, but she rarely sees her.  (Source: Absolute Anime)
