The leader of the aristocrats, and a true schemer.  A prince by marriage to the Goldenbaum family, and distantly the Littenheim family.

The thirteenth generation of renegade samurai, beginning with the legendary figure Ishikawa Goemon (石川 五右衛門). He has a sword called Zantetsuken (斬鉄剣), meaning "iron-cutting sword", which can cut through almost anything. In one episode during the TV series Goemon admitted that his sword cannot cut konnyaku, which is a starch-based jelly made from yams, because the blade just gets stuck in it. The Zantetsuken is usually used to cut inanimate objects, which Goemon considers unworthy of his blade and often mutters his catchphrase "once again, I have cut a worthless object" after doing so. Objects cut by Zantetsuken will fall apart a couple of seconds after he sweeps through them with his blade. He is usually quiet and participates in Lupin's exploits less frequently than Jigen.

He is mostly shown as a figure with a golden skull wearing a cape and carrying a scepter. Usually unfazed by his enemies, Ougon Bat stoically confronts his enemies with his innumerable arsenal of powers, such as, but not limited to: super strength; flight; invulnerability; teleportation and omnipresence.

Considered by many as the first superhero, Ougon Bat is a famous icon in Japanese culture, having received several incarnations in live action movies, anime, manga and Kamishibai, a traditional form of street theatre where the story is narrated through a stage-like box in which the pictures are shown one by one.

Gyron is President of Marume and Commander-in-Chief of the Plus Force espers. An ambitious and paranoid man, Gyron seeks nothing less than the eradication of all Minus Forces and rule over the entire universe.    When he is losing focus, a mysterious voice comes to Gyron in his dreams to fuel his fears and tell him what to do.

Captain of the Earth Federation Space Fleet flagship Andromeda. He served as captain of the former Allied Space Fleet flagship Kirishima, host to fleet commander Admiral Okita.
His friends and colleagues are Ryu Hijikata, Juuzo Okita and Shuntaro Yasuda. 

Dr. Ernst Robinson is  46-year-old and the head of the Robinson family. He is a wealthy medical doctor who helps poor people who can't afford medical assistance. He decides to take his family to Australia after receiving a letter saying that they are in need of good doctors.  He left behind his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Captain Sabarath: Captain of Good Thunder and senior advisor of the GoShogun team; colleague of the late Professor Sanada. Depicted as bald, wearing tinted glasses, and smoking cigars; pragmatic and generally unemotional. Probably named after Telly Savalas, whom he resembles in appearance. Renamed Dr. James Shegall in Macron 1.

After changing hands many times Buck is finally acquired by John Thornton, a kind and loving owner. Thornton has a few other dogs aswell and treats them all as his friends rather than sled dogs, becoming especially attached to Buck who truly loves him. Later on he gets shot and killed by several robbers, an action which is soon revenged by Buck.

Pierre is the father of Annette and Danny.
