The wise and powerful Head of Section 9, Aramaki relies upon his many international and corporate contacts to supply his team with the information they need to get the job done. Though he commands a great deal of respect, he is occasionally called "Monkey Man" (in the Manga) by his subordinates (perhaps because of his unconventional hairstyle/face). Seldom directly involved in police actions, he is nonetheless constantly working behind the scenes to coordinate the efforts of his agents, making quick and authoritative decisions and maintaining tight control of Kusanagi.

Gairota is a Kyoto Yokai who fought under Hagoromo Gitsune 400 years ago. He wields a giant iron club and is one of the yokai who intervenes when Nurarihyon first attacks Hagoromo Gitsune. He then attacks Nurarihyon by himself, but is sliced in half in one stroke.

Elderly Ryuuzan Arai is a a fengshui master and Shinto priest. He was at one time a teacher to Yuuya Daigo, and is comrades with the Kisaragi clan. Master Arai also trains and supports the Oribe twins, and the girls report to him about the supernatural occurances happening within the city.    He is first seen in episode one fighting Tendou Kodzunu, who refers to him as &quot;Mr. Eyebrows&quot;. Ryuuzan Arai is one of few remaining that knows the true history of the Kodzunu clan during the Bakumatsu.    At one time, Arai&#039;s Star of Fate had him fighting against Munetaka Yagyuu, and he was one of the men to seal away the evil. The others included his friend Doushin Narasaki, Genma Hiyuu, and Tatsuma&#039;s martial arts master. Since then, Arai has also been protecting Tokyo against demons and the Dark Arts. Now he tries to guide the Magami Five in succeeding where he inevitably did not.

Gross was a Marleyan Sergeant Major.

~!When Grisha Yeager and his little sister Fay wandered outside of their Liberio Internment Zone without an exit permit to see a blimp, Gross and his fellow soldier were slacking off by the riverside and they spotted and caught them. Kruger delivered physical punishment to Grisha while Gross walked away with Fay. However, her mutilated body was found the next day in the river and Gross, accompanied with Kruger went to the Yeagers' house and informed them of the death of their daughter. Gross claimed that he took Fay to the border of Liberio and that it was her own fault for wandering around town without permission to begin with. He later revealed to Grisha that it was education when he fed his little sister to his sons' dogs and thanks to that, they grew up to be fine young men.!~

~!Kruger pushes Gross off the Utopia wall, the Titan he just turned for Grisha, grabbed him and started eating at his face and he is killed.!~

A fisherman and a member of the Rising Volteccers. Landau seems to prefer his own company, as he rarely interacts with the other members of the Rising Volteccers, preferring to go fishing instead.
