As a member of the Alpha Gang, Ed works with Ursula and Zander to obtain dinosaur cards for Dr. Z. During the events of *Micron Densetsu*, his alternate mode is a tank. During *Superlink*, he takes on the form of a jet instead. His Micron partner is Barrel (AKA Spark Barrel), and he's also able to combine with Shockwave (Tidal Wave) into **Megatron S** (メガトロンS).

The leader of Destron (aka Decepticon) forces - a cruel and intelligent strategist who dreams of galaxy-wide dominance with what he describes as "peace through tyranny". However, in later installments, he adapts a number of other alternate modes, with his second most iconic form being a tank.

His signature weapon is the **Fusion Cannon** (融合カノン砲), which he usually wields on his right arm.
