Belgium is the cheerful sister of the Netherlands and Luxembourg. She has green eyes and wavy shoulder-length blonde hair, but in other pieces of official artwork, she has been shown with light brown hair. She had a non-speaking appearance in the first episode of the anime adaptation and in a special unaired episode titled “The Diary of the Awesome Me, Part 2.”  At one point in time, Belgium lived with her brother, the Netherlands, and Romano (then Chibiromano) in Spain’s house. Her relationship with her brother seemed to have gone bad at this time. When he declared independence from Spain, Belgium fought against him and stayed with Spain. The Netherlands tried making up with her afterwards by forming one country with her, but things did not work out and the two remained separate countries. It is also said that their great differences in their personalities was what played a big part in pushing them away from each other. Belgium is mature and friendly compared to the Netherlands, who is cool and tough. To this day, it is noticeable that their relationship is still on the rocks and somewhat awkward. Romano, as a child, had a big crush on Belgium, who was much older than him. He was shy and unable to express his feelings towards her or kiss her when she told him to, something that Belgium only told him to do because she felt bad for him.   She is described as being kind, mature, good-natured, diligent, and friendly, but gets pushed around by her siblings a lot and is somewhat meddlesome, like the type of person who sticks their nose in other people’s business. It is also said that she’s crazy for gourmet food and delicious snacks. 

Apparently, she’s very frightening when mad. She has a pretty face and noticeable features, but according to her character profile in volume 3 of the manga, “Although her features stand out, her clothes are simple and not very conspicuous.” Some people often forget about her and do not notice her because she is overshadowed by the other countries around her. Belgium is also described as a “tsukkomi" (straight man), and is noted to speak in a Shiga dialect. Although her official human name has not been decided, Hidekaz Himaruya revealed in a blog post that he has considered “Anri,” “Emma,” “Laura,” and “Manon” as possible names. Since this decision has not been made final, fans often render her name as “Alice” in reference to “Alice in Wonderland.”

A naturally airheaded but cheerful girl, Ui was the first one to encounter Kazuma when she accidentally got kissed by him when he tripped. Since then Ui has shown some romantic interest in Kazuma. Besides her dumb and cheerful personality, she is very fond of food (especially cheesed flavored "Umaibo") and always carries some snacks with her. She can eat portions that exceed the very limit of a human being without any trouble.   ~!In the last episode, She confesses her feelings for Kazuma, during the Festival.!~

Haruka is the all-around good girl and main heroine in The Idolm@ster. She's enjoyed singing and making sweets since she was a child, despite the fact that she seems to be quite inept as a cook in general. She's easily excited and a bit clumsy, admitting herself that she usually falls down somehow at least once a day. However, Haruka remains positive and keeps a strong resolve, always working the hardest to make the Producer happy. Also, although her character image color is red, personally, Haruka actually tends to be more partial toward the color pink (which is Iori's image color). 

General traits: This puchidoru is usually friendly, but can sometimes bite people and not let go for the longest time. Moreover, it can take on a wide variety of different forms. If it comes into contact with cold water, it starts to multiply and there will usually be a whole pile of copies in the end. Haruka sometimes pours water on it because she thinks the copies are pretty, and Ami and Mami sometimes pour water on it to create chaos around the office. However, the copies can be made to disappear by someone forecfully uttering the commands "Line up! Return!" (整列！ 戻れ！). It doesn't like bright light and grows weak if staying out in the sun for too long. If it eats something after midnight, it turns into a darker form with its ribbons changing shape to resemble devilish horns. To bring it back to normal, one has to remove the ribbons and then tie them on again in their usual shape. It can also grow extremely large, but no one knows exactly what triggers this. In this form it is docile and doesn't do much, but when fed it will also try to swallow the person feeding it. To return it to normal, one has to slap it in the middle of its forehead.  Seasonal changes: None of its changes appear to be seasonally dependent.  Calls: "Harukakka!" (はるかっか), "Kakka!" (かっか), "Vaai!" (ヴぁ～い). When in dark form, it laughs with a rather creepy "Ahahahaha...!" (アハハハハ…).  Other things of note: Many of Harukasan's different forms and characteristics are based on those of the Mogwai/Gremlins from the movie Gremlins. A selfish and manipulative noble in Shin Koihime Musou who doesn't care about the plight of her people. She conned Enshou into giving her Ryuubi's sword in exchange for an "extremely rare robe that idiot's can't see". However she herself was conned by Shuri into returning the sword to Ryuubi in exchange for some "concoction".

Visual Novel Version
Enshou's younger cousin in the sequel, Shin Koihime Musou. Initially fighting independently until defeated by the Wu faction. Her life is spared by Sonsaku after she surrenders. She has a lesbian relationship with her assistant Choukun, and she often ridicules Enshou behind her back.
