Renji is one of the most unusual Bleach character, having long crimson hair which is usually kept in high ponytail, and whole upper body tattooed in tribal work. He dresses in normal Shinigami kimono, but he usually wears some kind of headband (it's shown to be rather very expensive glasses or white headband).  In terms of personality, Renji is same as any other Shinigami. His personality varies from cocky and eccentric, to being depressed after he's defeated, all the way to being clueless and funny. Although he's carefree and happy character in most of the series, he can be quite serious, especially when it's the matter of life and death situations for either him or people he hold precious.  He is shown to have rather complicated relationship with his captain, Kuchiki Byakuya. Renji sees Byakuya as the goal he has to surpass. First time, when Renji was still in the Academy, he encountered Byakuya and felt something chilling about him. In the meantime, Renji became Byakuya's lieutenant, and throughout the series, Renji starts to see Byakuya not only as rival, but also as man he can look up to.

One of the higher ranking soldiers at Briggs&#039; Fortress under Olivier Mira Armstrong. As he is partly Ishvalian, Armstrong was ordered to imprison him during the Ishvalian war, but she refused to do such a thing only because of his ethnicity.  Miles is very loyal to Armstrong, and wants to stay in the military to change their perspective on Ishvalians.

A moth demon that appears in episodes 51 and 52. His brother is Garamaru.

Kakashi Hatake is a shinobi of Konohagakure's Hatake clan. Famed as Kakashi of the Sharingan and the Copy Ninja, he is one of Konoha's most talented ninjas, regularly looked to for advice and leadership despite his personal dislike of responsibility.

Kakashi has an ongoing, albeit slightly one-sided, rivalry with Might Guy, with Guy constantly proclaiming that Kakashi is his rival, and considering his and Kakashi's subordinates rivals. Kakashi, however, seems indifferent to their rivalry, which annoys Guy to no end. 

Though he evasively says that he has "many hobbies" when asked about himself, he is commonly seen reading of "Icha Icha Paradise" (literally "Make Out Paradise"), an adult and probably pornographic novel that is a runaway bestseller in the Naruto world. Kakashi most prominently reads it while training and speaking with his team, and is later seen reading the second known volume in the series, "Icha Icha Violence" (literally "Make Out Violence").

Out of all five main characters, Shiryu is known as the calmest and most collected. His sheer physical strength is the greatest of the bronze saints, with perhaps the exception of Phoenix Ikki.This is reflected in his ability to have won numerous battles without his Dragon cloth. Shiryu trained at the Five Old Peaks in China to obtain the bronze cloth of the Dragon constellation, and his mentor was none other than senior gold saint, Libra Dohko.   Shiryu sports a large tattoo-like image of a green and white dragon on his back (however it is said in the manga and the anime that it is not a tattoo but is connected to his guardian dragon star and only appears as his cosmo is rising). Whenever his life is in danger, the tattoo-like image begins to fade away—once it completely vanishes, it is a sign that Shiryu's cosmos is nearing zero—as in death.

Kozufuturo is part of Gensuru&#039;s initial gang, working together to complete Greed Island. It can be assumed he is also hired by Battera.    He sits in a forest all day, so people can use him as a checkpoint and reach him with Magnetic Force, getting closer to their main base.

One of the second stage examiners during the Hunter exam, along with Menchi. Buhara is an Epicurean Hunter, and is a hulking figure with a large potbelly and an even larger appetite. Buhara's easy-going nature contrasts with Menchi's highly selective one. 

Pilaf is a major antagonist during Dragon Ball. He is a small, impish demi-human who craves nothing more than power and dreams of ruling the world. He is an emperor in that he has a crown and a castle. He rules over an empire known as the Reich Pilaf, however the only members of this evil empire are his two followers Shu and Mai. He collects all of the Dragon Balls once, but is foiled by Goku, and his friends. A second time, he is stopped by the Red Ribbon Army, and a third time, he releases Piccolo Daimaō, who betrays him soon after. At the beginning of the Dragonball GT, Pilaf accidentally wishes for Goku to be turned into a young kid with the Black Star Dragon Balls, setting into motion the events of the entire series.

Abel is German and works as the Pierrot of the Troupe, in charge of comedy and laughter. He wears clown make-up while on stage, and performs all kinds of amusing antics such as juggling, acrobatics, and standing on a large ball. Even though he is the Pierrot, Abel can be very serious and wise at times. He is a very well educated man, somewhat of a scholar and mentor figure; he helps Nadja to look for books in libraries and reads her mother's diary, which is written in German, a language Nadja does not know since she has been raised in England.      Behind Abel's Pierrot make-up lies a sad past and a family he had to leave behind; he was the doctor of an impoverished village, but spent a time in jail after stealing medicine from an hospital to save his patients from an epidemy and had to abandon his family after his release, since his son Stefan had the illness and was left in a wheelchair. Father of the Nohara family from Akita in Northern Japan, and its sole source of income. He met Misae at the age of 29, and after dating for around a year the two wed. He is a loving father to his two children, and ultimately a devoted husband. While he is the family bread-winner, he hands the reins of finance over to his wife, who maintains a totalitarian level of control on family spending. At age 35, he is a stereotypical Japanese salaryman, working eight-hour days, enduring overstuffed trains, enjoying the occasional nightlife, and giving every bit of his take home pay to his wife every month. While his relationship with his family is positive on the whole, there is an abundance of recurring conflict. He and his wife bicker on many different things, from how little he gets for spending money every month, to whose turn it is to give the baby a bath. Misae is also notorious for inflicting violence on Hiroshi whenever she gets very angry (usually when his gaze wanders to younger women). He often dreams about being a playboy while he sleeps as an escape, though this is usually interrupted by some external stimulation. He enjoys a playful relationship with his children; but sometimes they're the source of his daily woes. He loves a cold beer after work and shares Shin-chan's appreciation of TV shows with young women in skimpy clothing, often getting too excited about it for Misae's liking. He will not hesitate to save his allowance for things he wants, but can be seen spending much of it to buy his family creature comforts. Calcifer is a fallen star who was caught by Howl. He didn't want to die, so he struck a deal with the wizard. Calcifer got Howl's heart and a prolonged life, and Howl received full access to all of Calcifer's considerable powers.  As it turns out, neither of them liked it after a while, but it couldn't be broken by people who were part of the contract. When Sophie Hatter comes to Howl's moving castle, Calcifer recognizes that she is under a curse thanks to the Witch of Waste and that Sophie has considerable powers of her own of which she is unaware. To break his own curse, Calcifer offers to lift the curse placed on Sophie once she manages to break Calcifer's contract with Howl.

Trant appears for the first time after the Wing Zero is abandoned by Heero and Quatre. Though ordered by Tsubarov to destroy the Gundam to erase all evidence of its existence, Clark felt that the Gundam's ZERO System is the key to turning the tide in the war, especially to render the mobile dolls obsolete and works independently to understand it. His troops capture Heero, Quatre, the Gundam scientists and soldiers of the Treize Faction. He had the former test out the system, determining that it can fight even more efficiently thank a mobile doll. Unfortunately, Heero took control of the Gundam and went berserk, trying to kill anyone trying to kill him. Eventually, it was abandoned and Clark attempted to pick up the pieces. He continued to use the Gundam to record results but the complexities make it hard for him after prolonged periods of use. After it is discovered that he used numerous mobile dolls to gather data on the system's capabilities, Tubarov sends a number of soldiers to discover his whereabouts. During the same time, Trant tracks down Gundam pilot Duo Maxwell and forces him to battle the mobile dolls in order to gather more accurate data. Duo becomes overwhelmed by the ZERO System and is pulled out of the cockpit by Trant as OZ soldiers arrive to retrieve Trant and destroy Wing Zero. Trant immediately pilots Wing Zero and easily dispatches the soldiers and their accompanying mobile dolls. However, the ZERO System overwhelms his mental state, making him crave more destruction. Duelo McFile is the ship doctor for the Nirvana. Duero quickly takes over medical emergencies often at the objection of the female pirates, but ignores them, assuring the crewmembers that he is not a threat. Since he is the only licensed medical practitioner on board the Nirvana, and being that the medical facilities on board the female pirate ship were no longer operational, the female pirates were left with no choice but to have him as their official doctor. A very calm and collected character, it was said that Duero got whatever job he wanted simply by submitting a blank resume with his name on it as he was one of Taraak&#039;s elite. However, he can be confused and awkward when faced with something outside of his experience and education, as when he had to coach Hibiki and Dita through delivery of Ezra&#039;s baby. While very analytical, he also makes an important discovery during the series regarding Hibiki&#039;s heritage. He eventually becomes close friends with Parfait, the first woman he worked closely with, which later develops into a mutual attraction. He fits the anime classification of a bishōnen, randomly acts yaoi-like and never shows the right side of his face. The latter trait is explicitely referenced at the very end of the second season, when Paiway Underberg sneaks up to Duero and for a second, strokes aside the hair covering his right eye. She then contentedly exclaims &quot;Just as I thought!&quot; but because the audience only sees Duero&#039;s back at that moment, what she saw exactly remains a mystery(judging by the rather pleased faces both Paiway and Parfait had, he is probably handsome). He has half of the scroll and so he has to marry the girl with the other half. Apparently his group can only eat pickled vegetables and rice. He is almost always seen with a bowl of rice and chopsticks, and he blocks attacks with those chopsticks.

Rob is the chief engineer of the Queen Fuji. Unlike the rest of the crew, Rob is well-built, having logged many hours of sometimes-backbreaking labor. In addition, as one would expect, he also possesses above-average physical strength. In contrast to his physical appearance, Rob is a very gentle soul at heart.  He has a lot of pride in the Queen Fuji as a warship, as well as in his status as a ranking officer in her crew. He becomes quite impressed with Iczer-3's strength in battle, even going so far as to gain a very rudimentary understanding of the alien technology involved in her creation. As the series progresses, he slowly develops a romantic relationship with the captain of the Queen Fuji, Candy Barts.

Chew is an Archerfish-man. In the Japanese version, he has a habit of saying "chu" (an onomatopoeic kissing noise) after each sentence. Choo is one of the more cool-headed officers in Arlong's crew (though also possibly the most violent, as he shoots a Marine Captain before he even finishes talking) and can spit water out of his mouth as if it were a bullet. He ends just about all his sentences with "smek" ("chew" in the 4kids dub). He later fights with the apparently-outmatched Usopp, but he is ultimately beaten after Usopp wears him down by running away and setting him on fire, before repeatedly hitting him over his head with his "Usopp Hammer" to knock him out. 

Mr. 2 Bon Clay is an "okama", a Japanese slang term for a transvestite. He has a flamboyant attitude, and is prone to singing and dancing. His martial art style is called "Okama Kenpo" in the Japanese manga. Bon Clay ate the Devil Fruit, Mane Mane no Mi (Clone Clone Fruit) which allows him to transform into an exact copy of anyone he has touched. Mr. 2 Bon Clay's swans form the shape of a two. He is defeated by Sanji but is considered a friend by the Straw Hat Pirates, even aiding them in their escape from Alabasta.  Mr. 2 Bon Clay is the only Officer Agent in Baroque Works without a female partner. This stems from the belief that, as an okama, he fills both roles by himself. Likewise, his name is a composite of a male Baroque Works agent's number and a female agent's holiday-based name. "Bon Clay" is celebrated in Japan on either July 15 or August 15 because of the use of a lunar calendar. It is a Buddhist celebration found on the last day of the Bon festival, honoring the dead. Lanterns are lit, and the Bon-Odori is traditionally danced.
