He was an up-and-coming bantamweight boxer. In order to get recognition quickly, Joe targeted the bantamweight rookie champion. Wolf was a confident and brash fighter who was easily provoked by Joe into a fist fight, ending in a double knockout.

~!He eventually became a thug who got defeated due to his weak jaw, and later borrowed money from Joe after rekindling their friendship. By the end of the series he finally pays it back and supports Joe for his last match, actively cheering.!~

Great Mazinger:    A warrior from Mycenae. He was sent by the Mycenaean Empire to overlook the developments between Dr. Hell and Mazinger Z, making sure they went according to their plans. Though he helps out Dr. Hell on occassion, his true loyalty is to Mycenae.    Shin Mazinger:     The soldier who lead the Mycenaean troops garrisoned on Earth. His upper body is that of a green-skinned human, while below the waist he is a sabre-toothed tiger. After he and the rest of Mycenae were defeated by Zeus, he sealed himself into a statue and hid within the depths of Bardos Island, so that he could revive at a later date and reclaim Bardos.

Leader of the pacifist faction within the Deloyer Independence movement. Believes that the independence cannot be achieved through war alone, and therefore wants to negotiate with the Federation government. 

Captain of the earth battleship Braves, Yamanaka was once in the position of trying to bring Harlock down, though his ship was no match for the Arcadia. In his heart, he envied Harlock&#039;s freedom, and when he learned that there was an alien presence upon earth, he and Harlock made an off-the-record agreement of sorts: to both counter the coming invasion, but not in any cooperative sense.    Yamanaka was forced to kill the wife of his chief engineer, Maji, when she was revealed as a Mazone assassin. Not understanding or caring, Maji nearly killed his superior officer, and left the service of the earth&#039;s space force to eventually join the Arcadia&#039;s crew. When a message (in a bottle, no less) apparently from a distressed Yamanaka is discovered, Maji is anxious for the opportunity to beg forgivness of his old friend, but they unfortunately arrive too late.
