Midnight is a mage which belongs to the Oración Seis guild, a dark guild composed of highly powerful mages whose goal is to find a power known as Nirvana, a very destructive power that was sealed away long ago. Not much is know about Midnight currently that not even the Blue Pegasus Guild, who were monitoring the Oración Seis, have much information about him outside his name.  He thinks of Brain as his own father, but they are not related.

Claus is a fifteen-year-old vanship pilot working for the Norkia Vanship Organization. His navigator is Lavie Head, with whom he shares a deep friendship since early childhood. Claus is no stranger to the vanship courier lifestyle, having been born into and raised for the lifestyle by his late father Hamilcar Valca (much like navigator George Head raised daughter Lavie). Their fathers died while attempting to cross the "Grand Stream" on a mission that would have brought peace to Prester.

The mechanist for Rin and Tamayo&#039;s team. He is a smart and witty person who fixes up, adjusts, and maintains the teams ridebacks. Hishida also helps manage the school club Rideback.

One of the most distinguished warriors in the Sengoku Era who opposes Tokugawa Ieyasu to the end. Wields two jūmonji-yari. He is very hot-blooded and is fanatically loyal to Takeda Shingen. The younger brother of Leon and one of the workers for Ryoko, his main job is to care for Lady Ryoko&#039;s needs, which includes serving food and drying her off after a bath. Like most of the children on Tatsumiya Island, Kazuki had no idea the earth was under invasion and strives throughout the series to understand why the adults hid this from him, and especially, why his estranged childhood friend [Soushi](https://anilist.co/character/1613) is so willing to do whatever it takes to defend their humble island.

He turns out to be an amazing fighter when he's unceremoniously tossed into the middle of a war he didn't know was raging, but fighting is never a thing of central importance to him. He turns out to be surprisingly kind and sincere, even if he rarely lets other people inside the walls he built around himself. Naturally, to someone with such a gentle nature, having to fight for his life constantly is a bewildering experience that causes him to question who he is and what he believes in.
