Sonoko is [Ran Mouri's](https://anilist.co/character/1748/Ran-Mouri) best friend and is the girlfriend of [Makoto Kyogoku,](https://anilist.co/character/30368/Makoto-Kyogoku) with whom she currently is in a long-distance relationship. [Conan Edogawa](https://anilist.co/character/1742/Conan-Edogawa) sometimes has to knock her out with his stun gun watch to use her as his mouthpiece. Because of this, Sonoko has claimed to be a great high school detective in her own right, "Deduction Queen Sonoko". 

Sonoko Suzuki is the second daughter of [Shiro Suzuki,](https://anilist.co/character/50609/Shiro-Suzuki) head of the extremely wealthy family and large company, second only to [Renya Karasuma,](https://anilist.co/character/130839/Renya-Karasuma) and his wife [Tomoko.](https://anilist.co/character/130107/Tomoko-Suzuki) She has an older sister, [Ayako,](https://anilist.co/character/35748/Ayako-Suzuki) and an uncle, [Jirokichi,](https://anilist.co/character/30357/Jirokichi-Suzuki) who is often involved in trying to capture [Kaitou Kid.](https://anilist.co/character/1747/Kaito-Kuroba) She and Ran have been close friends since kindergarten. 

Her primary character traits are her impulsiveness, her temper and sense for romanticism. She often acts without thinking ahead, thereby usually dragging Ran _(and by extension, Conan)_ into her schemes or firing her mouth away with wild tales. Often she acts very insensitively to other's feelings; while she encourages Ran to take her relationship with Shinichi to a higher level, she just as much enjoys teasing her best friend and beholding her embarrassment. Despite coming from a very wealthy family and fully enjoying such a pampered lifestyle, Sonoko surprisingly humble about it. Never trying to buy popularity and friends or bride her way to get what she wants, Sonoko appreciates getting things that matter and for the right reasons. 

At the series' start, Sonoko's primary interest was in boys and in trying to snag the "perfect boy". She often tried multiple avenues to attract a boyfriend, including dressing up specifically to attract a boy, making a boy chocolates, trying to impress a boy while wearing a bikini, or going to various events that young guys were going to attend. Whenever Ran's company diverts the attention of Sonoko's target, Sonoko feels jealous and disappointed (although this has never affected their friendship). However, this changed when Sonoko met and began dating Makoto. Although Sonoko is still easily attracted to other men, she is loyal to Makoto and tries to act the way she thinks a girlfriend should, including making him gifts and planning romantic rendezvous.

Conan has had to use Sonoko sometimes when he needs to do a deduction show. At first he struggled to mimic Sonoko's mannerisms and feminine speech patterns, but now he is better at it. However, because he has had to use Sonoko so often for a deduction, she, like [Kogoro Mouri,](https://anilist.co/character/1746/Kogoro-Mouri) has completely bought into her whole "sleeping" person, calling herself the best detective in Teitan High School, and a "Deduction Queen." This makes Conan sometimes regret using her to solve a case, though he does admire her courage in certain situations. Sonoko is sometimes able to solve little things on her own, and can figure things out when she is provided some assistance by Conan, such as when Conan was sick and had to communicate to Sonoko, Kogoro, and [Yamamura](https://anilist.co/character/27059/Misao-Yamamura) in charades and sign language.

Like many other people, Sonoko is a big fan of the [Kaitou Kid,](https://anilist.co/character/1747/Kaito-Kuroba) due to his style, charm and daring exploits. She keeps cheering him on in trying to steal something, even when that 'something' is a rare treasure of the Suzuki family. She wishes to meet Kid up close (and have it develop into something more), and sometimes almost gets her wish, but is very disappointed at the ultimate failure.

Though she is usually friendly to Albert, she appears displeased with the arrangement and sometimes acts cold towards him. Nurse Joy is a recurring character in every Pokemon series released.   There are multiple Nurse Joys in every town, city and region. They all look the same, have the same voice and personalities. There have been numerous speculations as to why all the Joys look alike, though it seems they are all related in some way.   However, there have been instances in which a Nurse Joy has been known to have a different personality and appearance (such as the aggressive sun-tanned Nurse Joy of the Orange Islands). Brock has an ability to tell each Joy apart based on minute details in their differences.   Each Joy works in the field of medicine, loves Pokemon and is extremely patient and caring. They are the heads of their respective Pokemon Centres.   A Nurse Joy's Pokemon choices are predominantly Chansey and Blissey: nurturing Pokemon that aid in the Pokemon Centres.

Kazuma Kuwabara&#039;s tough older sister. Like her younger brother she also has a high level of Reiki sensitivity and is extremely strong; Shizuru, in the beginning of the manga, has more of a sixth sense than her brother. Shizuru, 17 at the start of the manga, wants Kazuma to grow up and get an education so he can make something of himself. Shizuru, an aspiring beautician, gives Keiko her new haircut after Keiko rescues Yusuke from the burning house in Chapter 13: Qualifications for a Girlfriend. Shizuru is also a chain smoker and the biggest part she plays in the anime series is during the Dark Tournament (Ankoku Būtsukai) where she falls in love with Sakyo, the owner of Team Urameshi&#039;s rival team, Team Toguro. He saves her life twice, but she is unaware of his true identity until the end. She also knows Yukina&#039;s connection to Hiei because she saw a videotape that provided the details for the mission that Yusuke and Kuwabara had to rescue Yukina from Gonzo Tarukane (only she, Botan, and Yusuke saw the details that Yukina is Hiei&#039;s sister). Like Keiko, she is a woman who is unafraid to speak her mind or deliver a beat-down where needed. She even yells out to Toguro during the Dark Tournament when he goes up to face Yusuke. Shizuru also appears in the Chapter Black and Three Kings saga. During the Three Kings saga, Shizuru who was tired of seeing her brother recklessly endanger his life began to harshly discipline Kazuma to force him to keep up in his school studies and warned him that he would only bring ruin to his life if he kept fighting. In the anime, Shizuru is introduced later (during the Yukina arc rather than right after Keiko&#039;s fiery haircut), but ends up having a larger role, mostly due to the addition of her romance with Sakyo and her taking on Atsuko&#039;s role.

Juri is the referee of the Dark Tournament after Koto was forced to switch to commentary. She is apparently a sea-creature demon. She is an idol in the human and demon planes. Towards the end of the Dark Tournament, she complains that she will die a virgin, but in the Makai Tournament, Koto implies that she got &quot;what she wanted&quot;, and there is an extra scene showing Juri watching the tournament with a demon with a mustache, presumably her husband.

Mai Valentine, known as Mai Kujaku in the manga and Japanese anime, is a character in Yu-Gi-Oh! second series anime and Yu-Gi-Oh! manga    &quot;Kujaku&quot; means &quot;peahen&quot;. Her name in the English anime is a pun of &quot;My Valentine&quot;.     At the beginning of the series, Mai is a self-absorbed woman who is only set out for prize money, personal satisfaction and power.    Mai is extremely lonely and convinces herself she doesn&#039;t need friends at first. At one point she believed her &quot;Harpie Lady&quot; cards were the closest she would have to friends.    Mai&#039;s selfish attitude and outlook on life continues until she meets and finds meaning with Yugi Muto and his friends (of course, she also has a soft spot for Joey). After she meets them, she seems to start caring more for her friends and the deeper meanings of the game. Later on in the series, Mai&#039;s wins become empty and her feelings of loneliness return. However, as the series continues she appears to regain her self-esteem and pride as a true duelist.    In the Japanese version; Mai typically uses a quite informal manner of speech. Kei is a Trouble Consultant with the WWWA, an intergalactic "peace organization", with military interventionist tendancies. She and her partner, [Yuri](https://anilist.co/character/15655), are genetically enhanced, making them excellent fighters. Together, they are charged with taking care of problems for the WWWA, often involving bountyhunter-type activites, assasination, and occasion diplomatic missions. Wherever the two travel, massive destruction occurs, this has given the two the nickname "Dirty Pair". Whole planets sometimes begin evacuation when word of their arrival spreads. For that reason, they travel discreetly whenever possible.

Kei is the more assertive of the two. She flirts with men constantly, often leading to trouble, and is a vicious spoilsport with a short fuse. Her weapon of choice is usually a very large gun, and she gets very excited when given an opportunity to fire a huge weapon. She has a tendancy towards violence and overreacting, which is tamed by Yuri's mild demeanor and contemplativeness. It can be said that while Kei is a total horndog for men, she truly, deeply cares about only one thing- and that's Yuri.

Kei has bright red hair (which becomes two-tone yellow and deep orange in the sequel series "Dirty Pair Flash"). She is rather lean, and athletically built.

Hun (Japanese: バショウ Bashō) is a member of Team Rocket. He appeared along with his partner, Attila, in The Legend of Thunder! His Japanese voice actor is 森川智之 Toshiyuki Morikawa and his English voice actress is Veronica Taylor and his Brazilian Portuguese voice actress is Cl&aacute;udia Carli.    Like the other Rocket duos, his and his partner's names together form the name of a famous historical villain, in this case, Attila the Hun. 

A popular singer in the city. In reality, Eve is part of a computer program named Bahamut which is supposed to keep the people of the city content, ignorant, and safe. Notably, In the second part, she helps Shogo learn his planned place in the world, and in the last part, the original Eve helps Shogo's replacement in the same way.

She's a friend of Juan Rico, also his hidden love. She is adored by males, but seems to regard them more like friends. The only one she is emotionally attached to is Johhny. After he leaves and join army, she meets him several times on the spaceship they are both travelling on. Their feelings to each other seem to be confessed at the end of series.

Leader of Division 1. She is highly regarded by everyone in the police force and has a solid relationship with all of her coworkers. This is especially true of her relationship with Goto, which is difficult to sum up but can be described as interesting. Nagumo is a by-the-book style captain, as opposed to Goto who will often do many unconventional things to meet a goal. Despite her conventional mentality, she is always there to lend a hand when Division 2 needs it.

When she sees his Super Saiyan abilities at work, she believes that he may be an angel.

Yua Sakurai is an anime-original character.   She is a model who has had some singing experience, but due to an accident, has since been afraid to sing.
