Although she is the same age as the other girls, has a body that resembles that of a ten-year-old. She also has a cutting, nasty streak and never hesitates to speak her mind. Her talisman item is a tamagushi, a ritual wand made of a branch with leaves.

Taisou&#039;s wife, she is strong and direct. She serves as a good counter for Taisou when he is too serious but in truth she has the same type of role in the story: She shares the blunt honesty and truth to do what is right, even at the cost of one&#039;s own life. She wields a staff that can be any length she wishes and cannot be broken.

Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and is best friends with all of them and values them over all else. At first glance, Luffy does not appear to be very intelligent, often seeing things in childish manner and can easily be amazed by the simplest things. However, because he views the world in a straightforward and simple manner, he is occasionally the only person who can see past the events and see what should be done.  

Luffy seems to have an unstoppable appetite, a characteristic that is common to the Japanese archetype of the (at times simple-minded) young adventurer with a heart of gold; perhaps the hunger more so in Luffy's case due to having an elastic stomach. Luffy is also another one of the several characters given the middle initial "D".  

Although Luffy is fairly lightheaded and a funny character, he has an unstoppable sense of determination, optimism and commitment and will do anything to stand up for his friends and comrades. Along with that, he has great courage to back it up as well as unbelievable strength. Ever since consuming the devil fruit he was shown to be not worried about his inability to swim, much like his brother. Much of these traits are common among D's. His only display of true fear is towards his grandfather, to the point that he does not fight back and is intimidated at the mere mention of him.  

Luffy never kills any of the villains, no matter how cold-hearted they are; instead, he frequently sends the villain flying, knocking them out or until the point that they are almost near death, which results in some of the villains searching for revenge, such as Buggy the Clown and Alvida. Author Eiichiro Oda explains that it's not a question of morality so much as a matter of punishing the villains for their crimes - he feels that killing the villains lets them off too lightly, whereas he considers letting them live to see their dreams be ruined a far more fitting punishment.  

Luffy has a dream, and to even have a chance at achieving this dream, he says that he must find the One Piece and become King of the Pirates. He knows that to achieve his goal, he will have to defeat many strong opponents, including the World Government and his childhood hero Shanks.

Zara, better known by her alias Miss Doublefinger, is the second highest ranking female officer agent in the secret organization known as Baroque Works. As an officer agent, she is partnered with Mr. 1. She also used the alias of Paula while she acted as the owner of Spiders Cafe in Arabasta. 

Nurse Joy is a recurring character in every Pokemon series released.   There are multiple Nurse Joys in every town, city and region. They all look the same, have the same voice and personalities. There have been numerous speculations as to why all the Joys look alike, though it seems they are all related in some way.   However, there have been instances in which a Nurse Joy has been known to have a different personality and appearance (such as the aggressive sun-tanned Nurse Joy of the Orange Islands). Brock has an ability to tell each Joy apart based on minute details in their differences.   Each Joy works in the field of medicine, loves Pokemon and is extremely patient and caring. Juliet was deeply in love with Romeo and hoped to marry him as he had promised when they were children. But Romeo did not have the courage to tell her about his feelings so she thought he didn't love her. But at the end they admitted their feelings for each other. Soon after that they put on a show with their Volbeat and Illumise. 

Nicole (Japanese: ノリコ Noriko) is a character of the day who appears in The Lotad Lowdown. She has two sisters, Natalie  and Rita, who, together, run the Flower shop located near the lake of the Lotad. Her English voice actress is Bella Hudson and her Japanese voice actress is 進藤尚美 Naomi Shindoh.    After lecturing her younger sister Natalie about being nice to travelers, Nicole offered Ash and co. to stay for lunch and sample the Oran Berry pie she baked. While eating, Nicole, along with her sister Rita, invited the gang to view the Flower shop&#039;s garden to see all sorts of Berries they&#039;re growing. While touring the garden, Ash took interest in the Tamato Berry which Nicole quickly stopped him from eating it due to its spiciness. She takes care of a Bibarel for the Expert. She's been friends with it since she was a girl. The Expert is responsible for building the new bridge. She was appointed to look after Bibarel and organize the workers temporarily when the Expert is out. Bibarel stopped working immediately after the departure of the Expert. She was extremely depressed and blamed herself for not being able to gain the trust from a childhood friend. Brock tried to solve the situation by giving his specially designed Pok&eacute;mon food, which will make Pok&eacute;mon become energetic, to Bibarel but it went back to sleep at once after taking the food. This depressed Brock as well. Later, the boss constructor came with a building machine and requested to take the job. Bibarel became furious and tried his best to stop the constructor from building the bridge. The Expert came back and told the group that the bridge isn't planned well and will fell down easily. He brought the group with a new blueprint and explained that he was old to investigate about this. Isis realized that Bibarel is actually trying to protect the lives of people and became friends with Bibarel again.     

Melissa is a sophisticated Trainer and Coordinator who specializes in Ghost-type Pokémon. She is the Gym Leader of Hearthome City's Gym, known officially as the Hearthome Gym, and hands out the Relic Badge to those who defeat her. An expert in Pokémon Contests, she usually competes in Master Rank Super Contests and is a member of the Ribbon Syndicate.

Paris met with Ash and friends in front of Hearthome&#039;s Gym, there she suggested Dawn to enter her Buneary and Ash his Pikachu to the famous Pok&eacute;mon show, the Hearthome Collection.    Paris was one of the judges in the Hearthome Collection show and Hermione&#039;s student. She is also a well-known Pok&eacute;mon Stylist. Cocoa is one of the characters of the day in Arriving in Style!    Like Paris, she is also a Pok&eacute;mon stylist. She entered the Hearthome Collection contest along with Dawn and Ash. Cocoa is a little conceited and somewhat of a snob. She yelled at Dawn&#039;s Buneary because the latter wanted to touch her dress. She also made fun of her.    In the contest Cocoa gave an impressive show with her Mismagius. However Paris&#039;s teacher, Hermione, was not impressed. She made it into the top three along with Ash and Dawn. Much to her dislike, she ended up in third place while Dawn won the prize. 

She is the program that pilots the Megarig. Her name is taken from the word &quot;infinity&quot; and her design incorporates lemniscates.     There are holograms of her spread throughout the airship, most likely so that she could scout the Reverse World, without the need to get out and report anything to Zero.     In the credits of the next movie, it was seen that she was recovered from the Megarig by Newton after it was destroyed.

Lyserg has dramatic interactions with all of the main characters at some point, and though he travels with them for a long time, he fights against [Yoh's](https://anilist.co/character/167/Yoh-Asakura) team more than once during the series.  

Lyserg is an intelectualy genius but he is blinded by the prospet of revenge for his family's murder. He has a generally kind heart, although he becomes a bit of an anti-hero.

She is very affected when Asakura Mikihisa slaps her, yelling out and claiming that not even her parents dared hit her.

In the anime, Lettuce has a younger brother named Uri. Her parents, Yomogi and Eizaburou Midorikawa, always encouraged her to "Be herself, and someday, she will have real friends.".

Before meeting Ichigo, she still had her 'friends' from school. "The Three Beckies" as they're known in the English dub. 

Lettuce a sweet but shy and timid girl. She is very polite and always speaks formally, even to her friends and family. After befriending Ichigo and Minto, she becomes more confident. Retasu does not like to get involved in fights unless it will prevent her friends from being harmed.

Aki is a Psycho Duelist who has extraordinary powers, which she blames the 'wretched mark', her Signer birthmark, for. She has the ability of making the effects of cards very real and her opponents take real physical damage. However, she does not want her identity known when she unleashes these powers, so she hides behind another identity of hers called the Black Rose Witch, since her ace monster is the Black Rose Dragon. The only person that seems to understand her best was Divine, who assisted her when she joined the Arcadia Movement, an organization of Psychic Duelists. However, after meeting Yusei in the Fortune Cup, her outlook on life changes bit by bit.  ~! __Season 2 [Season 1 Arc 2]__ In Season 2 [Season 1 Arc 2], Aki's personality changes drastically. During her duel with Misty, the Earthbound Gods [Immortals] had penetrated so much damage to the Arcadia building, that Divine fell through the ceiling as a result of his duel with Carly. Aki sees Divine fall and she is distressed as she screams out his name. She is then seen falling herself and is caught by Jack. She is then taken to the hospital, where her parents, Hideo and Setsuko Izayoi, visit her. Seeing her parents, Aki becomes indignant and she unleashes her powers during her second duel with Yusei. Yusei, defeating her, helps her realize that she is able to control her own powers and is able to forgive her parents for their wrongdoings to her. Aki then agrees to fight alongside the other three Signers, Yusei, Jack, and Ruka in the Dark Signer vs Signer War.   Aki battles Misty once again during the war. However, Divine appears to her during the duel, reawakening the Black Rose Witch spirit inside of her. Aki relentless battles Misty before Misty discovers the truth about her brother Tobi's death from Divine via Duel Disk Communicator that Yusei had planted in. Misty becomes enraged and allows her Earthbound God [Immortal] to swallow up Divine whole, surprising everyone, Aki especially, very much. Aki then returns to normal and is able to defeat Misty. Misty is able to forgive Aki before she finally turns to dust. Aki is last seen in that episode holding a photo of Misty and her brother, Tobi, after her personality permanently changes.  During Yusei, Jack, and Crow's battle against Godwin, she is seen helping them by destroying Mekai No Oh's minions that were trying to harm Yusei, Jack, and Crow by using Black Rose Dragon.  Towards the end of 64, she is seen holding up a photograph of Misty's photoshoot, implying that the two had developed a friendship.!~   __Season 3 [Season 2]__  ~!In Season 3 [Season 2], Aki is seen as a very amiable character who gets along well with Yusei and the gang, especially the twins with Rua even calling her "Big Sister Aki" at times. In this season, after Aki had experienced a riding duel between Yusei and Sherry after Yusei had been kidnapped and rescued by her, she becomes inspired to become a D-Wheeler and applies for a license. Her first few practice runs fail however, so Yusei assists in helping her accelerate her D-Wheel in the form of ice-skating. Aki, after this event, improves on her D-Wheel riding immediately. After defeating Ushio in the Riding Duel exam, she gains her license as a D-Wheeler.   However, as inexperienced as she was, she was the first one to step forward to take Crow's place in the WRGP tournament after Crow had hurt his shoulder bone in a highway accident during a practice run. At first, Crow is upset that Aki 'knew' what he was going through, but he is later seen helping Aki with her D-Wheel Riding.  In the actual tournament, she battles against Andore of Team Unicorn after Jack had taken a serious fall from the damage inflicted in his battle against Andore. Aki manages to bring down Andore's life points by a measurable amount before she summons Stardust Dragon, which was given to her by Yusei, who told her to use it. She increases her life points to 4000 LP before she passes the baton to Yusei. She later feels distressed because she felt she didn't contribute much as a D-Wheeler to the team, but Crow, handing her a cup of coffee, helps her to think otherwise, telling her that as much as he, Jack, and Yusei have participated in Riding Duels, they were all inexperienced D-Wheelers in a way, giving Aki some inspiration. However, as Aki was trying to improve her D-Wheel riding skills on the highway, Team Catastrophe uses Dark Knight Hook's effect to crash her. Although Aki summoned Rose Tentacles, her powers does not activate and she crashes, leaving her unconscious. As of yet, she has still not regained consciousness.!~  Her first name in Japanese-Aki means Autumn 

Rally may look like a girl, but he is indeed a boy. He is the youngest in the crew that hang out with Yusei in Satellite and assumes the role of the thief in order to get what they need, even without the approval of his friends. Because of this, Rally has a small Marker under his left eye. In the first episode of the anime, he gives Yusei a chip for his D-Wheel, protesting that he hasn&rsquo;t stolen it, when the reality is he has. Security track him down and the first duel between Yusei and Ushio occurs.  Rally is an upbeat and optimistic boy who looks up to Yusei and Jack as heroes. After Jack drifted from the group, Rally desperately tried to get him to become friends with Yusei after the two seemed to have a disagreement and informed Jack of the test that Yusei is about to carry out on the D-Wheel. Jack called Rally to an undisclosed location, the boy immediately following the request after feeling he owed Jack for saving him from thugs that had been chasing him during a previous occasion. Jack then knocked Rally unconscious and tied him up before placing him in a boat and setting him adrift as bait to lure Yusei in. When Yusei arrived, Jack forced him to choose between his D-Wheel and his friend, Yusei choosing the latter without hesitation. While Jack rode off with Stardust and Yusei&rsquo;s D-Wheel, Yusei rescued Rally who sank below the surface of the water. Rally&rsquo;s determination for Yusei to follow Jack and resorting to thievery may be a result of guilt because of this incident.  During the second season, Rally is with the others when Yusei and Crow return and make their way to the B.A.D lands where Crow lives. During the night, Rally wakes up to find Yusei gone and follow the two D-Wheelers to find Yusei duelling Kiryu. When Yusei loses and Crow takes him to Martha&rsquo;s, Rally insists that the others take Yusei&rsquo;s damaged D-Wheel and protests how it represents their friendship. The others eventually agree and the four run into multiple incidents on their way before meeting with Saiga. They return to Martha&rsquo;s and wait for news on Yusei&rsquo;s condition.   ~!When the Dark Signers engulf Satellite in a black fog, Rally and the others vanish. Rally is later used as a replacement for Rudger when Yusei gains the upper hand in their duel. Determined not to let Yusei die, Rally summons One-Shot Cannon and destroys Uru, wiping out the rest of his lifepoints and sacrificing himself. As he dies in Yusei&rsquo;s arms, he pleads for Yusei to rescue Satellite before crumbling into dust.  When Yusei defeats Rudger and Uru, Rally is amongst those returned as a result of the Earthbound God&rsquo;s fall.  He hasn&#039;t appear in Season 3 and it&#039;s unclear if he will.!~

Mana is a childhood friend of Atem and Mahad and studies magic under Mahad as his apprentice. She is a light-hearted, open, playful and caring girl, who shares a deep bond between her master and Atem.  Mana is a young magician in training at the Dawn of the Duel arc's beginning who serves the priest Mahad. In the Manga she first appeared before Mahad after hiding in the pots outside of the palace. Mahad sensed her there and told her to come out. After popping out of the pot, she exclaimed how she'd do her training later and Mahad responded by telling her she'd never become a sorcerer that way. After Mahad's death, she swears to become a great magician and eventually is able to summon her own Ka, the "Dark Magician Girl".  Later when Yugi's gang discovers her, Yugi explains about the card game back home commenting on her reference to Dark Magician Girl. Mana later helps them to defeat Zorc. She is one of the only two people in the Millennium world who could see Yugi and his friends.  A single panel in the manga shows that she inherited the Millennium Ring after Zorc was defeated. 

Akemi serves as a foster parent of Jin.  Always addressed as 'Oba-chan/old lady/auntie' by Jin, Akemi was an ex-hostess who had a son she lost custody of to her ex-husband. Her face was slashed by a crazed client, who in turn suffered near fatal injuries by a young Jin, having recalled how his grandfather was killed. She has been selling crepes at a roadside stall ever since.   ~!She was seemingly killed right in front of Jin's eyes in a bid to let Jin return to the Amagi Corp., but was later revealed by Mitsugai to be alive, and was given back custody of her son with the help of Amagi Corp..
