One of the Chief Inspectors of the police department, Megure is often called upon to conduct the investigations of the various crimes committed around the city.

Shortly after Megure had come to the police force, he was involved in a case in which he would meet his future wife, [Midori.](https://anilist.co/character/42218/Midori-Megure) As a result of the case, he has taken to wearing a hat in public in order to hide a scar which he gained and his own self-consciousness about how he came to his marriage. Megure was also a good friend of star detective story novelist [Yusaku Kudo,](https://anilist.co/character/9177/Yusaku-Kudo) and would in the past consult him about one case or another. On many such occasions, Yusaku would take his son [Shinichi](https://anilist.co/character/1742/Conan-Edogawa) with him, who would pick up his father's investigative skills and eventually become a detective in his own right.

Megure is almost always there on the scene when a murder occurs, always interviewing the suspects, and acting as the commanding officer of the group of police he brings along with him, among them [Wataru Takagi,](https://anilist.co/character/9421/Wataru-Takagi) [Miwako Sato,](https://anilist.co/character/13975/Miwako-Satou) [Ninzaburo Shiratori,](https://anilist.co/character/9180/Ninzaburo-Shiratori) and [Kazunobu Chiba.](https://anilist.co/character/30373/Kazunobu-Chiba) Megure and [Kogoro Mouri](https://anilist.co/character/1746/Kogoro-Mouri) were former co-officers in the district.

Megure is a capable veteran officer who cares much for his underlings, but he is prone to occasional shouting fits whenever something does not go right or when his temper gets the better of him. He also has little patience for fools, but tends to be a bit too conservative, limiting his ability for flexible thinking. 

After Shinichi solved their first mutual case for him, he has regularly consulted him in difficult cases and considered him a great help. In stark contrast to this, he tends not to think much of Conan and the Detective Boys, usually thinking of them as a nuisance until they solve the ongoing case for him. Likewise, from their common police days, he has no high regard for Kogoro, and he thinks that he may actually be under some kind of jinx, since wherever Kogoro hows up, there is always some murder case nearby _(a fact which actually conforms to Conan, which in later cases he seems to have realised)._

Boo is introduced in the series as an innocent looking, pudgy, pink genie-like creature. Later in the series, it is revealed that Boo's original form is a more sleek child form ("The Boo of Pure Evil"), however his nature and form had been altered after he'd assimilated the gentle, pudgy god (Dai Kaioshin) into his body. Boo's creator, a wizard named Bibbidi, had used Boo to wage war on the Kaioshin. Boo managed to assimilate two of the four Kaioshin, the second being the one who altered his nature to become innocent. After Bibbidi sealed Boo away, Bibbidi was killed by the fourth Kaioshin, and Boo was transported to Earth where he layed dormant for five million years until he was revived by Bibbidi's son Babbidi during the events of Dragon Ball.

Boo has numerous counterparts in the series. When he first emerges from his shell, he is tall and round, and his personality is naive and innocent. Boo's anger later manifests itself in the form of another Boo ("The Boo of Pure Wrath").  After a battle with the Boo of Pure Wrath, Boo is absorbed and the two combined create Super Boo, who tracks down the protagonists of the series Piccolo and Gotenks. He later reverts to his purest form, the original state called "The Boo of Pure Evil".

Franky is a cyborg who is the shipwright of the Straw Hat Pirates. He first appeared in the Water 7 arc. Franky is one of "Tom's Workers".  Franky's dream is to build a ship that would travel to the end of the Grand Line. This is the ship that the Straw Hats are currently riding, but his dream is not yet achieved until they make it to the end.  Franky usually acts tough and is quickly angered, but he is also very emotional when it comes to sad tales and often bursts into large tears, or on some occasions, plays a song. His most distinguishable personality trait is his flamboyant attitude. He frequently shouts the word 'SUPER' when he's in a positive mood, or adds it into his speech. He also has a signature pose which he uses very often.  Franky is quick to defend other people (eg. Franky Family, Nico Robin) and take action if his friends are harmed. He is also quick in making friends, allies, and comrades with even the most unlikely of individuals. Because of this, he is seen as a 'big brother' figure. Monkey D. Luffy bears similar qualities (with the exception of engaging in unnecessary fights) and because of this, despite the disputes the two had in the past, both grew to respect each other during the events of the Enies Lobby Arc.

The sheriff and mayor of Cocoyashi Village (Coco Village in the 4kids version), which is Nami's home town. He is like a father figure to Nami and Nojiko since they were kids and he knew their adoptive mother, Bellemere, quite well. He also kept the town together after Arlong took over the island, making sure everyone was safe and able to pay their tax.

Genzo wears a pinwheel on his hat because he used it to make Nami laugh when she was a baby (this pinwheel also inspired an attack for Luffy during their fight with Arlong). He played a role in rescuing Luffy after Arlong threw him into the ocean. All of Genzo's scars are from his first encounter with Arlong when he tried to stop him from taking Nami, Arlong made Kuroobi cut every part of his body with a sword. He was also almost killed by Arlong for hoarding novelty swords, until Usopp saved him. Genzo's pinwheel inspired Nami's new tattoo--a pinwheel to represent him with a tangerine to represent Bellemere. After Nami sails off with Luffy and crew, Genzo says he no longer needs his pinwheel, placing it by Bellemere's grave. The origin of the pinwheel is then revealed. Bell-Mere said that Nami cried when she saw Genzo because he looked scary, but then Genzo put his pinwheel on to make Nami laugh. It is revealed later in the manga that Luffy is very interested in the pinwheel (this inspires a new attack for Luffy, Gomu Gomu No Pinwheel), not even noticing the Navy who are trying to find Nami, just Genzo's pinwheel. However, this could be a put down in reference to Luffy's simple-mindedness. He threatens Luffy that if he finds out that he made Nami cry, he'll come after him. However, Luffy lived up to that promise, as Nami's sister, Nojiko pointed out. 

Genzo appears again later, and is outraged by Nami's wanted poster, wherein she is in a bikini, saying she'll get more suitors than bounty hunters, yet has blown it up poster-sized hanging in his house.

Gaimon is a character that gets his body imprisoned in an empty treasure chest after he loses his grip while scaling a small cliff on the mysterious Island of Rare Animals (Gold Island in the 4Kids dub) trying to find some treasure with his pirate crew. The crew leaves Gaimon stranded on the island. The treasure chest becomes his body and cannot be removed, however, he can still use his hands, head and feet. It takes 20 years for another person to find him.  After Gaimon shrinks when he gets stuck in the chest, he can no longer scale the cliff. He has to protect his treasures somehow, so he would use his gun and his spooky voice to drive away intruders. Monkey D. Luffy and the whole crew passes the trial and they begin to become friends. However, when Luffy finally gets to the top of the cliff, Gaimon realized that the treasure chests were empty too and he had been protecting a nonexistent "treasure" for 20 years. He was offered to join the crew of the Strawhats but he declined. Then, he considers the animals as his treasures, and vows to protect them.  Chibi Buggy eventually meets, and befriends, Gaimon in the chapter cover stories.

Yukinari Ookido is a Pokémon Professor and a major supporting character of the Pocket Monsters anime who lives and works at his research lab in Masara Town. He appears semi-regularly to give Satoshi advice to help him achieve his goal of becoming the greatest Pokémon Master.

Professor Jumba is an evil genius alien and Stitch&#039;s creator. He is assigned by the Galactic Council to watch over Stitch, and lives with Yuna and Obaa. He is much friendlier in this series than the original, and has less of a penchant for evil.

He is an elderly man who is the owner of a Duel Lodge in the mountains around Heartland.

Charon appeared in Saving the World From Ruins!, albeit not in a speaking role. He is seen briefly in Team Galactic&#039;s base.    Charon made his first full appearance in Gateway to Ruin! along with Saturn where they were trying to find the Spear Pillar in Mt. Coronet.    Charon made another appearance in Team Galactic&#039;s finale from Unlocking the Red Chain of Events! to The Battle Finale of Legend!, where he assisted in the final stages of the Red Chain project. He is not arrested, unlike the other three Commanders at the end of the arc, and presumably escaped.    He is often seen with a laptop computer and does much of the technical work for Team Galactic&#039;s plans, such as monitoring energy levels and other statistics. Dornez is the butler of Integra Hellsing, but is at the same time a deadly combatant, wielding high-velocity microfilament wires (dubbed by fans "The Dental Floss Of Doom"), and fought together with Alucard in the Second World War to stop a certain groups attempt at creating an undead army. 

 An eccentric old man and former traveler. He befriends Yusei after being detained in the Neo Domino City Detention Center. He knows several things about the Signers and the Five Dragons. He plays a "Hidden Treasure" deck, based on legendary treasures from all over the world, which he takes great pride in.

The zany, egotistic, and very stupid evil leader of the Alpha Gang. Plans to use the dinosaur cards in his plans to rule the world. He also seems to know the history of these cards, though he was not the creator as the method was created by Dr. Ancient and Dr. Cretacia. He did invent the Move Cards with Dr. Ancient had been dissatisfied with. When Dr. Ancient and Dr. Cretacia wanted to return to the year 2126 to raise a baby Rex, he and Seth jettisoned their pods into the timestream and tried to do the same for baby Rex only for the intervention of Jonathan to prevent that. This accident caused the Alpha Gang to end up in the present day and the dinosaur cards were scattered throughout the Earth. He often sends Ursula, Zander and Ed to obtain dinosaur cards (which were scattered when his time machine exploded) for him while he stays in his lab on Zeta Point researching and experimenting with the dinosaur cards that he already has, unless it is a certain occasion. When his flunkies fail, he always berates them for their incompetence. He sometimes attempts to aid with some of his inventions, but as a running gag his inventions often explode. When he had a bad back from holding up Alpha Metal, he liked Seth&#039;s idea of having his grandchildren obtaining the Dinosaur Cards. In the battle against Zanjark, Dr. Z invented the Dino-Tectors so that the dinosaurs of the D-Team and the Alpha Gang can armor up.

A dwarf and a member of the party with Lizard Priest and High Elf Archer. They team up with Goblin Slayer and Priestess in order to infiltrate some ruins invaded by goblins. As a silver adventurer, he is an experienced spell caster. Well-built and with good physique despite his short stature, Dwarf Shaman's long hair is completely white, which he ties up in a ponytail, and the beard he often strokes is elaborately braided. His earlobes have been elongated and are pierced by earrings. His priest garment is completely white, which contrasts with his dark colored gloves and bracers and the piece of armor he wears on his lower torso. He is cheerful and happy most of the time and can be often seen arguing with High Elf Archer over the most trivial matters, but they do so without malice.

A retired hero who is one of All Might's colleagues and his former homeroom teacher. He was the one who taught All Might to control One For All during the his early days, and his training was so intense that All Might fears him to the point he subconsciously tried to forget about him until Grantorino sent his recommendation for Izuku to help him improve One For All, becoming his work place mentor. His Quirk is "Jet," allowing him to take in air through the sole of his foot to allow him to jump higher.

Asakura Yohmei(麻倉葉明, Asakura Yōmei) is a fictional character in the anime and manga series Shaman King. He is Asakura Yoh's maternal grandfather and he is the current head of the Asakura Family.  Yohmei is an onmyōji who specializes in divination, and fortune telling. His abilities are so skilled that he is employed by numerous important politicians.
