He is the epitome of a girl-obsessed guy, keeping an electronic database of almost all the girls at Otowa-no-Mori with him (to a point of bribing some informers to get the scoop), even using computer dating simulators and guide books (actually, he's terribly shy and can't do anything in decisive situations). Tooru Kazama is Shin-chan's immaculately groomed and perfectly mannered friend, who usually loses his nerves and composure with Shin-chan's antics.Their relationship has often been joked as homosexual by Shin Chan. Despite Kazama's annoyance with Shin Chan, the both of them are actually the best of friends are actually quite closer then any of the other friends they have. Himawari has a slight crush on Tooru.

Gomamon first appeared when he digivolved from Pukamon to protect Jou from Kuwagamon in episode one of Digimon Adventure. He is Jou's partner and his goal is to lighten Jou up and make him less serious.

A short, hairless (for most of the series) warrior monk, loyal Kuririn provides comic relief during tense moments. Like Chiaotzu, Kuririn doesn't have a nose. He is a good-natured, outgoing and competitive martial artist.  Once a fierce rival of Son Goku, he quickly became his best friend while training under Muten Roshi. Kintaro "The Golden Boy" Oe is the 25-year-old protagonist of the anime, manga, and OVA series "Golden Boy." As a "Tokyo University Department of Law" dropout, he is studying the way of life by traveling with his bike through Japan. Although he dropped out, he mastered the entire curriculum. This fact combined with his knowledge of the human behavior and psyche lets one assume that he is indeed quite intelligent. He goes from place to place, applying for whatever job he can, instead of sticking to one occupation.

Known for charming all the girls in school, he is Jyoyō&#039;s goalkeeper. He is also known for his superior acceleration speed. His mother is Swedish and his father has Japanese blood.    When he first went to Jyoyo high soccer team, he was very cocky and felt less respect for the Japanese Soccer but that changed as the story progressed.

Yuusaku also grew up together with Madoka and Hikaru and is in love with Hikaru. When they were smaller, she told him that she wouldn&#039;t be interested in him unless he became stronger and more masculine. Thus Yuusaku trained heavily in martial arts. By the time he achieved proficiency, Kyousuke has arrived on the scene and Hikaru is head-over-heels in love with Kyousuke. He, naturally, regards Kyousuke as a rival in love for Hikaru. Thus, the relationship between Yuusaku and Kyousuke is a bit strained.

A very flirtatious guy from the Bird Clan, who is Grandson of there Bird Clan&#039;s leader. Like his Grandfather, he speaks English quite often. (as well as a little German) He often uses English to pick up on women, much like some people speak French.

 __Anime__    Bass was born of the remnants of PharaohMan&#039;s data, which were extracted from the Navi by Wily, who wanted his Ultimate Program. Bass had no memories of his previous life as PharaohMan until he abducted MegaMan and read his memories, learning his origins and awakening his &quot;true self&quot;.     ~!Bass attempted to consume the data of Gospel (Grave in the English anime), for the two shared the same origin, to become whole, only to be consumed himself. When MegaMan destroyed Gospel and restored all the NetNavis devoured by the beast, Bass took residence in Shuryou Gospel&#039;s (Kid Grave in the English anime) android body. He left, vowing revenge against the world. He reappeared as the creator of the robot Allegro in Axess, and tried to absorb MegaMan and ProtoMan&#039;s Ultimate Programs at the beginning of Stream. He was easily defeated by Slur and imprisoned in the UnderNet, losing his means of travel through the human world in the process.    In RockMan.EXE: Program of Light and Dark, a film exclusive to Japan, Bass is captured by Dr. Regal and is brainwashed to obtain the Tadashi Hikari Program, and fights MegaMan and Colonel. Bass, upon returning to normal, wanted to make Regal pay for the &quot;disgusting act&quot; of a human using him as a pawn, even if meant siding with MegaMan. The duo were no match for Nebula Grey, so MegaMan opted to have Bass absorb his Ultimate Program. The resulting BassCross eliminated Nebula Grey, but Regal summoned a black hole in a last ditch effort to destroy the Navis along with himself. Bass flung MegaMan out of harm&#039;s way as he himself got sucked in, ultimately absorbing Nebula Grey&#039;s power, which proved vital in his rematch with Slur. The tables had turned, and he deleted her, impaling her through the chest on his arm and suffocating her. He vanished, and his current whereabouts are unknown.!~     __Manga__  In the manga, Bass made his first appearance in Volume 3, when MegaMan and Protoman were investigating the UnderNet. Similar to his game counterpart, he faced Serenade in the past, and was determined to wield the same power one day. Constantly coming into conflict with MegaMan, ProtoMan and their operators, Bass would eventually be taken away by Dark MegaMan (Dark Rockman) and LaserMan, who had intentions to change the world into the Dark Kingdom. Dark MegaMan subsequently tried to absorb all of Bass&#039; power to become the ultimate being, but, failing to consume his entire consciousness, was disconnected from the Navi&#039;s soul. Bass was then seen rescuing Colonel from Nebula Grey. Bass proceeded to attack Nebula Gray, but to no avail, leading him to fuse with MegaMan to create BassCross MegaMan, though he ultimately broke away from the Navi to destroy Dr. Regal&#039;s submarine. He disappeared, reappearing years later to rescue MegaMan from a super-virus. He reappeared in the underground during the fight to see who could control Cyberbeast Gregar. He once again saved MegaMan, this time from Cyberbeast Falzar. Bass had stopped the attack on MegaMan, and then absorbed Falzar to once again be MegaMan&#039;s equal in terms of power. After the cybeast merged and slowly deleting the real world, Bass eventually assisted MegaMan, after encouraged by Serenade, who kept telling if MegaMan is his first and only friend. Viral is a recurring enemy and later an important ally to Team Dai-Gurren in the japanese anime Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann. He is a shark-type Beastman with feline genetics. His appearance is more humanoid than most other Beastmen, except for his cat-like eyes, shark-like teeth, and large clawed paws in place of hands. He is skilled in piloting Gunmen, as well as in unarmed combat. While hunting for food, he attacks Kamina when he found, running into his Gunmen Enki after Yoko intervene in a ensuing fight between the two. He manages to overcome Simon and Kamina's attacks, but leaves before the fight ends. The next day, Viral returns to execute his mission as member of the Human Execution Squad, facing Kamina and Simon again; this time however, Viral is defeated by the newly formed Gurren-Lagann, barraging it missiles in order to conceal his escape, swearing revenge on Kamina for his humiliation when he took Enki's helmet in the fight.  Viral later returns alongside Supreme General Thymilph and the Dai-Gunzan to crush Team Gurren with the upgraded Enkidu, but is severely injured in the battle, which resulted in the Dai-Gurren's capture and the death of his superior. He tries to obtain another chance to fight by trying to join Supreme General Adiane's side, in spite of her treating him like garbage as she blames him for Thymilph's demise. Still, Viral saved Adiane from harm during a fight with Team Dai-Gurren, by stopping the Dai-Gurren's foot from crushing her. After Adiane's death by the Dai-Gurren's attack and being the only survivor of the Dai-Gunkai, Viral curses the Gurren-Lagann and swears to bring pain and punishment to those who killed his two superiors and robbing him of a honor.  Under Supreme General Cytomander's command, Viral took part on the aerial attack on the Dai-Gurren. His battle with the Gurren-Lagann, piloted by Simon and Yoko, extended to the control room of Cytomander's aerial fortress, the Dai-Gunten. There, he learned of Kamina's death, and discovered that he not only lost to a human, but to a child as well, challenging Simon to a one-on-one duel in their mecha. But the battle was interrupted by Cytomander, who took Yoko hostage, and ordered Viral to destroy the defenseless Gurren-Lagann. However, Viral disobeyed as he knew this outcome would not make him regain his lost pride and honor. For this action, Cytomander asked the Spiral King's permission to execute him for treason, but Viral's last request was hearing from the King himself of what is the true nature of human race. Thus, Lord Genome dispenses Cytomander and conducts Viral to a room where he reveals the truth behind the Beastmen's existance before making him immortal. Viral's last effort against the Gurren-Lagann was in the Spiral King's throne room, where he believed he could finally obtain his vengeance after becoming immortal, but was soundly defeated. Lord Genome revealed that the reason he gave Viral immortality was not to fight against Simon, as none without "Spiral Energy" could stand against his power, but to make of him as an eternal witness of his triumph against Team Dai-Gurren.   ~!After Lord Genome's defeat and the fall of Teppelin, Viral's whereabouts were unknown, until he was sighted causing an uproar with his Gunmen, and demanding Simon to fight him, but Rossiu stopped Simon from going after him and sent their Guraparl force instead. Gimmy and Darry together managed to take down Viral's Enkidudu and put him under custody. When questioned by Simon about why he continues to fight even after the war ended, Viral stated that his intention was to protect a human settlement which refused to leave the underground. Simon would eventually discover that Rossiu was forcing people out of their villages without his consent, in order to count them to find out how close mankind's population was from reaching the one million danger level, stated by Lord Genome. Viral is sent to the Rikone prison and reappears in the end of episode 19, when he re-encounters Simon, who was imprisoned there, awaiting for his death sentence to be carried on. Both end up locked in individual cells after a brawl, but after Simon is rescued by Yoko, Viral is also released by him and accepts his proposal to join Team Dai-Gurren against the Anti-Spirals, as the Gurren's pilot. This position is cemented after the battle, when Simon declares him the Gurren's official pilot in a meeting with the Team members; this title goes uncontested.  In episode 26, we discover that Viral's greatest desire is to have a family, however, this will always be impossible, since Beastmen cannot reproduce. Despite being a Beastman, he obtains a Core Drill when broken free from the Anti-Spiral's illusion, even though Beastmen should not be able to produce Spiral Energy. In the epilogue, Viral is seen commanding the Chouginga Dai-Gurren, as a representative for Earth, in the upcoming Spiral Peace Conference; due to his immortality, his appearance stays the same, in spite of the fact that 20 years had passed.!~ Viral's name comes directly from the word "viral", tying in with the Beastmen's genetics theme, but there are other theories about his name's origin. One is the fact that it can also be an anagram for "rival", referring to his constant rivalry with Kamina, which transfered to Simon throughout the series until near the end. Another possible theory comes from the Nikopol Trilogy of comic books written by Enki Bilal, as Enki is the name of Viral's first Gunmen and "Bilal", pronounced in Japanese, sounds like "Viral". Supporting this theory is Viral's theme song, which is titled "Nikopol", on the anime's soundtrack.  The name of Viral's Gunmen may be tied to the Sumerian diety Enki, though it is much more likely that there is a deliberate connection between his second Gunmen, Enkidu, and the character of Enkidu from the Epic of Gilgamesh. The myth consists of Enkidu ('Enki's creation'), a man of the wild who seeks to challenge King Gilgamesh, a mighty warrior, but who later befriends him and assists him in in his travels.

Leigharch is an Irish driver who worked with Shenhua at one time. A compulsive smoker of marijuana (in the manga he actually snorts cocaine), he has a distressingly frequent tendency to hallucinate at inopportune times, such as in the middle of a car chase. Most of his hallucinations are actually references to Western pop culture, such as Playmates, Star Trek characters like Jean-Luc Picard and Klingons, or sixties rock music such as Jimi Hendrix. Leigharch is said by Shenhua to have suffered a massive overdose (he &quot;couldn&#039;t get back from Mars&quot;), inducing psychological damage severe enough to commit him to full-time medical attention.    

Max joined the UN Spacy aboard the SDF-1 Macross during the events of Space War I. His first combat assignment was to Skull Squadron&#039;s Vermillion Team, under the newly promoted Hikaru Ichijo. Max quickly distinguished himself in combat, which came as a surprise to those around him due to his quiet personality. ~! Max would play a key role in helping his comrades escape a Zentradi ship after a botched recon mission leads to the whole team&#039;s capture. !~  After earning a reputation for his skill, word of Max finds its way to female Zentradi ace Milia Fallyna. Seeking a challenge, Milia attacks the Macross to draw Max out and engages him in a dogfight. Eventually, Max is able to damage Milia&#039;s Queadluun Rau power armor and drive her off.  ~!  Later, Max encounters Milia in an arcade within the Macross. Not realizing her identity, he challenges Milia to a friendly game on a Valkyrie simulator. Max wins, and manages to secure a &quot;date&quot; with Milia before she rushes off. The date takes an unexpected turn as Milia attacks Max with a knife. Once again, Max defeats her, and in doing so Milia realizes her feelings toward Max were actually love. The two are married shortly thereafter, as the first human-Zentradi couple. !~  As a team leader, Max continued to distinguish himself for the remainder of Space War I. In its aftermath, he continued to serve in Skull Squadron, based out of Macross City. ~! During this time, he and Milia had their first daughter, Komilia. !~ ~! Rising through the ranks of the UN Spacy, Max was eventually awarded command of the Macross 7 colony fleet. Also aboard the massive City 7 colony ship were his youngest daughter Mylene and now estranged wife Milia. !~ ~! Several years into its journey, Macross 7 would fall under attack from the mysterious Protodeviln.    Fortunately, forward thinking Max had already established a program to investigate the use of music in combat for use against other Zentradi factions they may encounter. As it turned out, Sound Energy was the only weakness of the Protodeviln. Max approved expansion of the pilot program. In addition to Basara Nekki, the remaining members of Fire Bomber joined to create Sound Force&mdash;including Mylene. Though initially opposed to Mylene&#039;s participation, Max eventually allowed it.    Late in the conflict, Max would personally lead a daring raid against the Protodeviln&#039;s home base. Though the team would take heavy casualties, Max made it back. Around this time, the meddling of Mylene and the tense events of the Protodeviln conflict began to draw Max and Milia together again. They would once again fight side by side in the final battle against the Protodeviln. !~

Nikaido is a quite interesting character, but, unfortunately, he does not show up on the TV series. Many plots that Nikaido is involved are rewritten and Nikaido is mostly replaced by Yotsuya-san, which is interesting because Nikaido hates Yotsuya-san.  The walking insensitivity of room #2 is a college student who came from Ibaraki. He&#039;s always curious, so when he realized that nobody knew a thing about Yotsuya (everyone else had already given up on finding out anything about the peeping tom of room #4), he set out to find out about Yotsuya.

Kenshin Himura, also known throughout the anime as Hitokiri Battousai (Battousai the Manslayer) or Himura the Battousai, is the main character of the series Rurouni Kenshin. His original name was Shinta (心太). 

His parents died of cholera when he was very young and as a result, was adopted by three slave women in a traveling slave wagon. Soon after meeting them, bandits had raided the convoy and killed his three new guardians and where about to kill him when Seijuro Hiko killed the bandits. Hiko soon adopted the child and because Shinta was not a name fitted for a swordman, he renamed him Kenshin, meaning "Heart of Sword," took him under his wing and taught him the Hiten Mitsuruugi Ryu.   

~! However, before full completion of the sword style could be passed on to Kenshin, the Japanese Revolution had been happening at the time and right before Kenshin's eyes.  Because of his kind nature and seeing people suffering, he knew he needed to do something about it.  He left in the middle of his training and without his master's blessing and joined the Imperialists.  It was during the Revolution where Kenshin met Tomoe, his first love and wife. During the revolution, Kenshin was given the nickname of Hitokiri Battousai because of his god-like speed of drawing a sword to kill the enemy instantly. After helping the Imperialist to a position where they would undoubtedly win the revolution, Kenshin left the revolution all-together with a vow to never kill again and the reverse-blade sword handed to him by Shakku-dono. It was Tomoe's death by his hands that pushed him over the edge of never to kill again.!~

The next time we see Kenshin is 10 years later as he has become a wanderer who helps out anyone in need who is suffering right before his eyes. Those long 10 years have taken him from Kyoto, all over Japan to where we find him in episode one of the anime, in Tokyo, still keeping his vow never to kill again. It is here where he meets Kaoru Kamiya and his whole life begins to change once again.

Kenshin is usually depicted as a care-free swordsman who is very aloof and tends to be a bit simple-minded when it comes to living normally. He is seen to be doing many of the chores around the dojo that he stays at with Kaoru, (i.e., cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.). He believes it is his way of repaying Kaoru with allowing him to stay at her dojo. (although it seems he has gotten attracted to kaoru in the end). However, his swordsmanship ranks among the elite as he is seen defeating every rival (with the exception of Hajime Saitou which ended in a draw). His battle senses are top-notch and he recognizes even the slightest of advantages, strategies and tactics during a sword battle.

Celestial Equine that like Mushra came to Earth. Taking on a robotic-form, Hakuba served to protect Yakumo and serve as her transport. Represents the Turtle and the North. During the battle with Lanancuras, he absorbed the EnCards of the six Enterran generals and reassumed his true form, the Reversian Blade. The Reversian Blade later broke during battle when Lancuras&#039; power was increased after absorbing Yakumo&#039;s lifeless body.

Han Song-I is an E-Rank hunter who quit school after gaining money through the Yoo Jin-Ho and Sung Jin-Woo motley group of party. She is friends with Sung Jin-Ah. She first appeared when Jin-Ah visited Jin-Woo in the hospital but she didn't know him then.

Result of all evil to have passed through hades, Janemba was formed due to a kid demon's neglect to watch the evil cleansing machine. At first, Janemba was a playful, extremely large and yellow spirit like demon. After being defeated by Goku as Super Saiyan 3, he transforms into a smaller, red demon, which neither Goku or Vegeta was able to beat.
