A Reclaimer at Orphan. Disgruntled at the way Yu was favored from his parents, he became very bitter towards him and wants to compete who is the strongest Antibody pilot. And even his resentment towards his real mother, Capt. Anoa McCormick since he was abandoned since childhood, but was replaced by his undying loyalty to Baron Maximillian. He is agressive and powerful. Commonly competing with Quincy Issa for control of the Reclaimers. He is always eager to fight and desires to beat both Yu and Quincy. He is afraid of living and fighting independently.

Armbrust is 20 years old and an Auditor for the Global Union who is sent to observe &Eacute;clair and Lumi&egrave;re on some of their missions. Armbrust is calm and collected, although a bit on the shady side too. A veritable ladies&#039; man, he often flirts with the ladies (and sometimes with Eclair). However, he is never seen without his mysterious black briefcase, which seems to have its own powers. Despite his efforts and good intentions, Armbrust is often the target of Eclair&#039;s distrust. Mis-translated as Armblast for the English dub, an error that was caught too late to be corrected although it is spelt correctly in the English subtitled version.  His name is German for &quot;crossbow&quot;.     ~!Later in the series, it is revealed that Armbrust is also an S Class ES-Member whose partner is Pfeilspitze (also known as Mercredi). His ever-present case just happens to be his special ES ability (codenamed &quot;Black Box&quot;).!~
