At the beginning of the series, Shinichi is a 17-year old student at Teitan High School. He is already well-known as a brilliant young detective, the "Savior of the police force", for solving many difficult cases that the professionals could not. However, while investing 2 mysterious men, he is spotted and forced to swallow an experimental poison known as APTX 4869. This results in his body shrinking to that of a 6 year old.

Shinichi comes up with the alias Conan Edogawa after Arthur Conan Doyle and Edogawa Rampo and pretends to be a distant relative of Agasa's who places Conan in Ran's care. Ran's father Kogoro Mouri, owns a Detective Agency which Conan uses to his advantage to discover cases involving the Black Organization.

As Conan, Shinichi helps Ran's father solve cases by putting him to sleep and simulating Kogoro's voice using the special bowtie gadget Professor Agasa made for him. By solving cases one after the other, he helps build up Kogoro's reputation who will later on be referred to as "Sleeping Kogoro". He also spends a good amount of time with his Detective Boys fellows and solves many small cases with them and sometimes in the company of Professor Agasa.

He appears as the legendary digimon champion who even beat Ruki-- the Digimon Queen. He ends up in the Digital World just like the others, however, his mission is unknown. His partner is Cyberdramon, an out-of-control digimon who is extremely powerful. Ryo seems to be the only one even able to handle Cyberdramon's power. Masayuki is one of Keitaro's childhood friends, and is (apart from a few physical differences) almost exactly like Shirai. He is taller and enters a university before Shirai or Keitaro.

Subaru is the younger of a pair of fraternal twins, his older twin being a girl named Hokuto. Their parents (who are never seen) were members of the Sumeragi, a clan of onmyouji who have served Japan and its emperors for hundreds of years. Subaru was trained from an early age to become the 13th head of the Sumeragi clan, replacing his grandmother. At the age of nine, he was separated from his sister Hokuto for a year of intensive training in Tokyo. On the day he ascended to the head of the clan, Subaru encountered a strange young man under a cherry tree. The meeting would subsequently be expunged from his memory. Subaru's grandmother ordered him to wear gloves from that day onwards, and never to allow anyone else to see his hands. The old onmyouji cast a spell that would repel any attempts by others to remove them. Subaru never removed his gloves, and was known to wear them even when sleeping. 

Daichi is a very intelligent duelist. He uses highly complex mathematics to win his duels. He bested high score in the entrance exams, and now resides in the Ra Yellow dorm. He uses serveral deck combinations for his duels.  In the anime, Daichi has six decks each based on an Attribute (Fire, Wind, Earth, Water, Light &amp; Dark). In the second year he merges all these decks into one. In the manga, Bastion plays a "Yokai" deck.  In the manga, Daichi has a crush on Asuka Tenjouin.

Totomaru is part of the Element 4 group. He&#039;s a fire mage and can manipulate it to the point where he alters the state of fire even making it cold or extremely smelly. He carries a sword which he uses for close-combat. His nickname within the guild is The Great Fire. (wikipedia)

While Ikki is officially recognized as a bronze saint, his base power easily places him well above most silver saints, and his reputation as a powerhouse is common knowledge among his peers and fellow Bronze saints. Even as a child, Ikki was known as the toughest kid of the 100 orphans, and would often defend his delicate younger brother Andromeda Shun from the other children. He could easily be recognized as the strongest bronze saint when it comes to raw power.

As a fat, sickly, and spoiled child, Takefumi was constantly picked on in elementary school. He was somewhat protected by the tomboy Tsubaki, who, while protecting him from other bullies, would bully Takefumi herself. When he asked Tsubaki why she paid attention to him, she told him that a teacher had asked her to look after him. After hearing this, Takefumi is humiliated as he had never been in his life; he is humiliated because he had believed that he was somehow special to Tsubaki, but he realized that she did not care about him at all, and was just obeying a teacher&#039;s request. 

He transferred to a school in another city but returns years later to attend Hokuei High School with the other characters. When he returns to Tokyo, he had lost weight, become healthy, tall, handsome, and completely unrecognizable. He intends to take advantage of the fact that no one recognizes him to get revenge on Tsubaki. Although he butts heads with Yukino at first, she recognizes that his efforts to transform himself are similar to her own obsession with her image, and they share a mutual, albeit begrudging, admiration. He later realizes that his feelings for Tsubaki are actually love, and that the source of his seeming hatred for her was because he felt rejected by her. After he realizes this, he finds out that Tsubaki likes him, too, and they become a couple.

The main protagonist of the manga and anime series YuYu Hakusho.

He is a Spirit Detective who is tasked with protecting the Human World from various supernatural threats over the course of the series and his closest friends, as well as greatest allies, include Kuwabara, Kurama, Hiei, Keiko, Genkai, Koenma and Botan. He is also the de facto leader of Team Urameshi and the general person to look to when the going gets tough.

At the start of the series, Yusuke is an uncontrollable teenage delinquent/street fighter with little to no positive qualities to his character. Over the course of the series, he starts becoming a better person, changing into an almost altruistic defender of the Human World while he himself continues to become a powerful martial artist.

Momotaro is a character from the Japanese folklore story Momotaro the Peach Boy. In Dr. Slump, he is a resident in Penguin Village. He initially lived in his story but when Arale used the Fairy Tale Machine to transport herself into the book, Arale messed up the story and accidentally brought Momotaro into the real world. Though an inconsistency, he has been shown around Penguin Village in several background and non speaking roles before Arale brought him out of the story.

Kishou is the 11th rank Asaemon in the Yamada Clan and was assigned to keep watch over the criminal, Warped Keiun.

Kishou is an individual who is known for never losing his composure and rarely acting assertive. He is able to see the big picture in situations and finds it annoying when people question his way of handling them. Kishou has shown that he doesn't mind taking the easy way out, offering to cut down Gabimaru to help Sagiri return home instead of following through with the mission. He also doesn't like to be pushed around.

~! After Gabimaru kills Warped Keiun, Kishou has no reason to stay on the island and tries to escape. Kishou at some point becomes infected with Arborification and immediately dies. After trying to make an attempt at escaping the island, Nurugai & Tensa finds Kishou's bloomed corpse. As Tensa tries to get a response from Kishou, the dead Asaemon is split in half by the Watatsumi's large tentacle. Before departing Kishou also told Gabimaru that the Iwagakure might come to the island later on shogun's request. !~

Ramona's first evil ex. Matthew has mystical powers and can summon Demon Hipster Chicks at will.
