Zoro was the first crew member to be recruited by [Luffy](https://anilist.co/character/40/Luffy-Monkey). 

Zoro is a skilled swordsman who fights with his own unique sword style known as santoryu (three katana fighting style). This is achieved by using one katana in each hand, and another in his mouth. He is also seen fighting with only one or two swords. When in a serious fight he ties his normally, tied on the arm bandana, on his head. Though not a samurai, he appears to maintain a certain degree of bushido, and is frequently mistaken for one. Unlike Luffy and most of the other Straw Hat pirates, Zoro has been known to kill his opponents if he has to, though never in cold blood. 

Zoro has a stern, serious and distanced personality, however he often reacts in a goofy and exaggerated comic style due to his gruff, impatient attitude. On the ship, he normally either trains with weights or sleeps. The only work he is seen doing regularly is hoisting the anchor using his great strength. He also likes sake, almost to the degree that Luffy likes meat, but like [Nami](https://anilist.co/character/723/Nami), he never gets drunk due to his inhumanly-high endurance and tolerance for alcohol. Another notable trait is his lack of orientation, as Zoro often gets lost, even in small, familiar spaces or when being led by someone. Despite this, he is often the first to sense an enemy or danger, and the first to react. He is often displayed being well aware of dangerous situations and people around him.  

Zoro often reminds others of the harsh facts, which often shocks some of the other crew members, although they usually decide he is right. Zoro has also stated that he is an atheist, and has never believed in anything except himself. He often comes across as arrogant and overconfident, but only because he knows he's a strong man with great fighting ability. Even so, Zoro knows that he still has a lot of untapped potential, and is constantly seen training and trying to improve his fighting skills. He adheres to a strict sword master's code of honor, and never falsely brags or lies about his abilities, sometimes outright admitting a weakness, even to an enemy. He also never tries to escape from a fight or use trickery to win, believing that doing so is cowardly and scorning anyone who uses such tactics. Zoro is very vigorous, strong-willed, and determined.


Len is a Shaman from China, one of the few remaining members of the Tao Family, who after their years of serving as the guardians of the Forbidden City, became outcasts and condemned as witches and devils. Those two centuries of suffering were the fuel of the hatred En bared for those outside of their clan and even more for those of the Tao family who associated themselves with outsiders like his brother or Len's father (in the Japanese version, En is Len's father, in the English version, is his uncle).

Len was taught to hate and see the worst in people, with the Tao family Crest magically tattooed on his back by his uncle as a reminder of his "destiny" to be Shaman King so he can punish the world for what it did to the Tao clan. But that all changed when he met and fought [Yoh](https://anilist.co/character/167/Yoh-Asakura), whose laid back nature and friends convinced Len that En was wrong about people.

Ren is serious, logical, and quite aloof. He tries hard to maintain a tough and confident exterior, but deep down would risk his own life for his allies. He is a particularly impatient person with a short temper and isn't afraid to hurt the source of the anger. Because of how he was raised amongst dead corpses and spirits he began applying the survival of the fittest rule as a way of overcoming death. He is also an egotistical person and usually doesn't care that people think that he's overly proud. He even named his own team, Team "The Ren", much to the annoyance of his teammate, [Horohoro](https://anilist.co/character/173/Horohoro). In addition, Ren is also very intuitive, quick-witted, sometimes quite stubborn and he can also be very defiant. 

Keiichiro is the manager and baker of Cafe Mew Mew and Ryouss partner in the Mew Project.

Five years before the start of Tokyo Mew Mew, Keiichiro worked with Dr. Shirogane, Ryou&#039;s father, on the Mew Project in the United States. After Ryou's parents were killed in a lab explosion, Keiichiro went with Ryou to Japan to continue working on the Mew Project. Keiichiro cares a great deal for Ryou, and worries when he risks himself to help the Mew Mews. Knowing he couldn't stop Ryou, though, he only makes him promise to return because he'll be waiting with tea to welcome him home. 

He is shown to have a mischievous and flirtatious side, however, such as offering to kiss Ichigo to change her out of her cat form.  Ichigo once wondered if Keiichiro might be the Blue Knight after she sees he has an injury in the same spot that the Blue Knight had been injured in earlier in the day. The injury, however, came from Pudding having an accident while practicing a trick. Although Keiichiro is not shown to have any romantic interests in the manga, in the fourteen episode of the anime adaptation, he is shown to have an ex-girlfriend named Rei Nishina, a researcher studying butterflies. 

He is the first of the alien antagonists who come to Earth, wishing to "reclaim it." His people were originally from Earth, and were forced to flee their planet. He hates humans for turning Earth into a trash heap so he, Tart, and Pie use Chimera animals to destroy the human race.
  
He is a carefree, playful, clever, optimistic, and a rather open-minded person, although this is somewhat hidden by his blood-lustful intentions for humans. He enjoys torturing Ichigo Momomiya, his main enemy, whom he likes seeing in pain. He harasses her regularly and gives her nicknames like "honey", "kitty-cat", and "sweetie-pie".

Rick lives in Whispy Woods Forest inside the roots of the great tree Acore. They are one of Kirby’s Animal Friends.

Harley is a Pokémon Coordinator from Slateport City and one of May's rivals.

He is a conniving character with little to no regard for anybody but himself and his Pok&eacute;mon. He tends to get personal vendettas against people for the smallest of reasons. His vendetta against May began when she said she had never heard of Cacturne before, Cacturne was &quot;scary&quot; and that his cookies were &quot;not half bad&quot;; however, the supposed &quot;real&quot; reason he started to dislike her was because she looks just like a classmate who stole his last snack when he was a small child. He keeps photos of people that he has grudges against in a notebook/photo album. He also tends to inflict humiliation to try to get the better of an opponent, showing sadistic pleasure when he does. This is evident when he pretended to be friends with Max in order to get him to tell an embarrassing story about May only to record it and play it during a Contest. Finally as evidenced by his contest performances, Harley shows no qualms in using dirty tactics to win.

Kaiba Noa was the son of Gosaburo, the wealthy owner of Kaiba Corporation. He was extremely intelligent, and, being a &quot;privileged child,&quot; he was able to participate in many activities, including sports. His life was, basically, perfect.    Then, tragedy struck. One day, as he was outside, a car came hurling out of nowhere and hit him. He was immediately sent to the hospital, but despite Gosaburo's constant badgering of the doctors, Noa passed away. Deep Blue (ディープ・ブルー Dīpu Burū?) is the leader of the aliens and the primary reason they have returned to the Earth.[61] Deep Blue went to sleep within the Masaya personality, leaving Masaya with no memories of whom or what he really was, though he retained Deep Blue&#039;s disgust for the way humans were treating the environment.   ~!Unlike Masaya, Deep Blue is cold natured and cruel hearted. When he first emerges, he attacks Ichigo, cutting her arm. He also ignores Kish&#039;s plea that he not hurt Ichigo, determined to kill anyone who defies him. When Kish later challenges Deep Blue to a dual to protect Ichigo, Deep Blue kills him without any hesitation.  Killing Kish enables the Masaya personality to temporarily re-emerge. Masaya is able to hold back Deep Blue when he tries again to kill Ichigo, then he releases the final mew aqua inside Deep Blue, which kills Deep Blue and himself but releases a healing force across Tokyo that restores Kish to life and heals the wounds of the Mew Mews, Ryou, Pie, and Tart.  Though Deep Blue is the series primary antagonist, he does not actually appear until the end of the sixth volume of the manga. In the anime series, however, he appears in the form of a blue light to whom Kish gives progress reports. In the twenty-sixth episode, after Kish brings him a bit of mew aqua, Deep Blue is shown in a shadowed version of his true form until his full awakening in the forty-ninth episode. Deep Blue&#039;s death is also changed in the anime, with Masaya still holding Deep Blue at bay, but it being Mew Ichigo who uses her finishing attack to kill Deep Blue and free Masaya.  To keep the true identity of Deep Blue a secret in the anime, he is listed in the original credits of the first two episodes as &quot;Mysterious voice&quot; (謎の声 Nazo no koe?) with a question mark in place of his voice actor&#039;s name. After the second episode, he is listed by name, but the question mark remains in the voice actor&#039;s spot until the forty-ninth episode when his identity is revealed. At that point, the credits are changed to show that the voice actor is Megumi Ogata, who also voices Masaya and the Blue Knight.!~  Deep Blue is one of the few characters in the Mew Mew Power dub version whose name remains unchanged, however he is also changed from being a savior for the aliens to being a destructive force that wanted to destroy the Earth, which causes the others to turn against him.[citation needed] In the Mew Mew Power English adaptation of the anime series, he is voiced by Scottie Ray.

Morty (Matsuba in the Japanese version of Pokemon) is the Gym Leader of Ecruteak City&#039;s Gym, known officially as the Ecruteak Gym. He hands out the Fog Badge to Trainers who defeat him. He is a young man who uses Ghost-type Pokemon.    In the anime  Morty appears in three episodes  of the anime: A Ghost of a Chance, From Ghost to Ghost, and For Ho-Oh the Bells Toll!.    He teaches classes on training Ghost-types. He knows that most Ghosts lack physical power, and relies on disabling his opponent by confusing or frightening them.    Ash, Misty and Brock first meet Morty when they mistakenly went to the Burned Tower thinking it was the Gym. His Ghost Pokemon had created an illusion of fire to scare the trainers away, but Morty settled them and introduced himself as Gym Leader. He told them about the legend of Ho-Oh and the two towers of Ecruteak, but didn&#039;t believe that Ash had ever seen Ho-Oh. When Team Rocket kidnapped Pikachu and Togepi, he used his powerful Gengar to stop them.  Whitney&#039;s and Morty&#039;s appearance in Bagged Then Tagged!.    The next day, Ash and Morty had their Gym battle. Ash was able to defeat him by relying on his Noctowl&#039;s Foresight to weaken Morty&#039;s Ghost Pokemon and make them vulnerable to Normal attacks. After Morty was defeated, he said he believed that Ash may very well have seen Ho-Oh, given Ash&#039;s great spirit.    When Ash and company returned to Ecruteak on their way to Mahogany Town, it is revealed that he and Eusine have a close relationship because they both study rare legendary Pokemon.    He makes a small cameo along with Whitney in Bagged Then Tagged! when it was revealed that Lyra&#039;s next Gym challenge was supposed to be one of them.       In Pokemon Adventures  In Pokemon Adventures, he is a natural version of the Itemfinder, using his powers to locate lost objects and Pokemon. He has clairvoyant psychic abilities that allow him to see things at a distance. He was unfortunately away from Ecruteak when Team Rocket attacked it with the earthquake, but later assisted in its reconstruction. His dream is to one day be able to see Ho-Oh. The rainbow Pokemon&#039;s power is so great, it blocks Morty&#039;s abilities. Another Pokemon that he found unable to locate was Suicune, which he tried to search for on Eusine&#039;s behalf.    Morty first appeared after finding a Girafarig for a young woman and after hearing that Suicune had awoken from a radio, quickly went searching for it. He encountered a mist with both Gastly and Misdreavus, and was soon able to sense and find it. Morty had run Suicune into the town, where it seemingly acted paralyzed by Gastly&#039;s Thunderbolt, though it was able to trick Morty. As he had thrown the Great Ball, it turned out that Suicune used Mirror Coat to negate the attack and paralyze Misdreavus instead. Morty then contacted Eusine about having come into contact with Suicune and went off on the chase as well.

Forrest is Brock&#039;s younger brother and the second oldest child of Flint and Lola. When Brock returned from Johto to find the gym taken over by his mother and her water pokemon, Brock decided to have Forrest run the gym in his place. Helping Forrest out is Brock&#039;s prized pokemon Onix. Forrest was able to raise Onix very well that it ended up evolving into a Steelix.

Nicholai (Japanese: キヨ Kiyo) is a Pokémon Trainer in Hoenn  who is obsessed with short pants and cosplaying as Pokémon. Nicholai likes to wear Pokemon costumes he believes that his costumes allows him to know what a Pokémon feels. In addition, the costumes helped him blend in with wild Pokémon.  He is May's first opponent in a Pokémon battle. His team consists of Mudkip, Zigzagoon, and Zangoose.  Bulbapedia

Chaz (Japanese: エイジ Eiji) is a character of the day who appeared in All Things Bright and Beautifly.    Chaz is a Pok&eacute;mon Coordinator who entered the Rustboro contest along side his friend and rival, Janet. In the end he and Janet made it to the final round. He used his Venomoth against her Beautifly but he ended up losing to her.    Chaz also helped Ash teach his Pikachu the move Iron Tail with the help of his Sentret. He suggested Pikachu learn it in order to defeat the Gym Leader&#039;s Rock-type Pok&eacute;mon.     Bulbapdia

Forrester Franklin is Forrest&#039;s identical twin brother; Forrest is distinguished by his blue t-shirt and a mole on the left side of his face. His Japanese voice actress is Makoto Tsumura and his English voice actor is Andrew Rannells.    Forrest lives just outside Rustboro City, the place where he was born. As a ranger, he knows a lot about the area, such as where certain Pok&eacute;mon appear. He dreams of traveling but is afraid to do so.    In the episode, Forrest first appeared to help out May who was being attacked two-on-one by Team Rocket. Initially introducing himself as Franklin, he helped May to find and catch her Wurmple. Forrest admired May for her independence. Assuming that traveling helped May to become stronger, he decided to get over his fear and travel as well. At first, he suggested traveling with May and her friends but this did not happen and presumably he traveled by himself.    May took Forrest to meet Ash, Brock and Max where he met his brother for the first time in a while and any confusion was explained to the group.     Bulbapedia

When Forrester first met Ash, he asked for a battle as he was impressed by Pikachu&#039;s strength. He taught Ash about double battles and they held the first double battle in the anime since the introduction of the concept to the games in Pok&eacute;mon Ruby and Sapphire (though the anime had previously featured one in Pok&eacute;mon Double Trouble). Forrester&#039;s Ariados and Yanma used many combination attacks to provide a threat but were still defeated by Ash&#039;s Pikachu and Treecko. This defeat made Forrester realize that he still had a lot more work to do on his battle skills.    Forrester joined the group for lunch where he was reunited with Forrest. In Battle City he duels Katsuya Jounouchi, and his backstory is further expanded. It is revealed that Kajiki's father was a great fisherman that was lost at sea. In the English anime, Mako believes his father is alive and duels to raise money to fund a trip to search for him; in the Japanese anime, Kajiki duels in his father's memory. Leon is a very famous duelist who has won many tournaments. Since he was young Leon has always been fond of fairy tales and even wrote a letter to Maximillion Pegasus, requesting that he make Fairytale Cards. He has created a very powerful deck as a result. Leon has also always admired Yugi, and aspired to one day duel against him.   ~!During his duel against Yugi in Kaiba's KC Grand Championship, he is revealed to be Siegfried von Schroider's younger brother, with his true name being Leonhart von Schroider. Leon's family never paid very much attention to him when he was a kid. They were always focused on preparing Siegfried to take over the company, and they would punish him for distracting Siegfried from his studies. Once learning of his strength in dueling and how good with computers his younger brother is, Siegfried finally acknowledged Leon and asked him to collaborate, to take down Kaiba corp.!~

Chief Bookem is the only police officer of Cappy Town, and there isn't much for him to do, but he doesn't let that discourage him. He lives in his house (which is also the police station) with his wife, Buttercup. Not only is he a police officer, but also a traffic director.

His name in English is a play on a common slang phrase for arresting someone, "Book 'em".

Andrew Scott Rannells (born August 23, 1978) is an American actor. He is best known for originating the role of Elder Kevin Price in the 2011 Broadway musical The Book of Mormon, for which he was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical and won the 2012 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.
