Yuuichirou Kumada known as Chad Holdenford in the English version, is a ragged-looking young man who appears only in the anime, helping out at the Hikawa Shrine. In the English version, he talks like a surfer dude and calls himself a struggling musician.    His family is very rich and even have a lodge in the mountains. In episode 38, he takes Rei Hino and her friends to his parents&#039; lodge, where they go skiing. He falls in love with Rei at first sight, and decides to stay at the Hikawa Shrine so he could always be near her. Even though she does not show her feelings to him, he remains faithful and tries to protect her.

The android boy fashioned after Tobio Tenma (Astor Boynton III in the B/W American translation) by his father, the head of the Institute of Science in the year 2000. Aside from possessing the strength of 100,000 horsepower (later 1,000,000) and the kind personality of a child, he has what are called his "seven amazing powers": jet-powered flight, multilingualism, analytical skills, headlight eyes, super-sensitive hearing, hidden weapons in his back and the ability to tell if a person's good or evil. In addition he has a built-in geiger counter and shortwave communication system.

In the anime, Usagi calls him Motoki-oniisan and has a very big crush on him in the beginning of the series. He is also friends with Mamoru Chiba, who attends the same college he does, Azabu Institute of Technology. His girlfriend is Reika, a wonderful science student. He has a little sister, Unazuki, who is also friends with Usagi and the others. In the manga, Motoki holds part-time jobs at both the Crown Game Center and the Crown Fruit Parlor. He attends KO University. In the first arc of the manga, he recognizes the Senshi and learns their true identities, but promises not to tell anyone.

Kobayashi was a anime-only character who appeared in the SuperS season. He was a friend of Mamoru's who went to university and high school with Mamoru and their mutual friend Saori. He had a crush on Saori, but was aware that she had a crush on Mamoru, with whom Kobayashi felt he could not compete.   When he met Usagi and Chibiusa (who both introduced themselves as Mamoru's "girlfriends") he was even more dispirited, as he did not think Usagi and Mamoru's relationship was serious. He supported Saori in her endeavour to confess her love to Mamoru and give a gift. However, after Saori discovered how serious Usagi and Mamoru's relationship really was, Saori gave up on Mamoru and gave the gift, a tie, to Kobayashi instead.

Redman was sentai hero who appeared in episode 032. He appeared in the amusement part show Redman Show: Monster Fighter Redman, which Naru and Umino went to see. Zoisite had modified the Kurozuishou so that it could transform ordinary humans into youma, hoping to transform Naru into a youma and lure Sailor Moon into the open. He followed Naru to the Redman show. When he used the crystal, he missed and the crystal&#039;s beam hit the actor playing Redman instead. He quickly transformed into the youma Akan, and began throwing marimo (green algae) balls at the audience members, who were engulfed in them when they were hit. Fortunately, Sailor Moon soon arrived and healed Akan, causing him to transform back into the actor playing Redman. Nobita is a fourth grader in Tokyo and only child. He is lazy, bad in sports, bad in school, plain as a gray rock, and to top it off, all too unlucky in his (mis)adventures with Doraemon. However, his struggles to overcome his flaws are what drive the storyline.
