This is a movie adaptation of the Hiragana Danshi multimedia project which is one of the projects that started from a monthly variety show on Nihon TV titled "Ichara," which gets ideas for 2D characters from the audience. Hiragana Danshi are on a mission to try to find their comrades in a world where Japanese characters have disappeared.

Koyan, the Origami Ninja, came to Earth from his planet Origamio to find the magical stone "Hapiton" that has the ability to make people happy. On the way, he was joined by childhood friend Namin anda new friend Lublin. One day, a villain called Evilrun appeared. Evilrun has a black hole in her stomach and tries to inhale anything. Every time an event happens, Evilrun gets in the way of Koyan and friends. But what Evilrun's aim is remains a mystery...

A special that features six stories - four animated, and two live-action. The four animated stories and their animators are "Mury&#333; no Denwaki" ("Free Phone") by Pantagraph, "Atarashii Asobi" by Tayuta Mikage, "K&#333;tta Jikan" by Tetsuro Kodama, and "Gogo no Ky&#333;ry&#363;" by Takashi Kat&#333;. The two live-action stories are "My Kokka" ("My Nation") and "Kof&#363; na Ai." 

This series features stories from the acclaimed sci-fi writer Hoshi Shinichi. The episodes uses animation, live-action footage, computer graphics, and other visual means to re-enact the short stories. Each episode is a collection of several short-short stories by Hoshi Shinichi.

A boy encounters a trace of his lost father on tracks where time comes and goes, at a station where time stops. With the help of a mysterious projectionist, the boy and station master search for the truth of the father's image.

The movie version is the complete version of the story. It includes all the OVAs and completely new scenes giving details on the background story of some characters. 
Sometime in future Japan, androids have been involved in every aspect of peoples lives. One day, upon checking his android's behavioral log, Rikuo, a student, noticed his android's returning times have been odd recently. With his friend Masaki, they found out the place where his android, Sammy, have been visiting: a small cafe called Eve no Jikan where androids and human are not seen as different. Upon talking with the "people" in the cafe and discovering more of Sammy's behavior, Rikuo changed his view about androids and treat them as friends rather than tools. At the same time, elsewhere in Japan, the Ethics committee is trying to impose policies to reduce the involvement and use of androids in society.

Influenced by the Robot Ethics Committee, it's become common sense for people to treat androids like household appliances. Their appearance - indistinguishable from humans except for the ring over each android's head - has led some people to empathize unnecessarily with androids. Known as "android-holics", such people have become a social problem. 
Rikuo, a high school student, has been taught from childhood that androids are not to be viewed as humans, and has always used them as convenient tools. One day Rikuo discovers some strange data in the behavior records of his family's household android, Sammy. 
Rikuo and his friend Masaki trace Sammy's movements, only to discover a mysterious caf&eacute; that features a house rule that "humans and robots are to be treated the same"...
